Lee’s Dry Cleaners

I really enjoy going here. Mr and Mrs Lee are very friendly and respectful. I’ve been going to this place for almost 4 years and every time they were on time, friendly with a great service. Store like this is one reason I haven’t moved out of My rental place yet.

There’s so many places to dry clean clothes in Hoboken. Around me, there are at least ten in a 3 – 4 block radius. They’re all nice and provide decent service. Since moving to Hoboken 10yrs ago, I still bring mine to Lee’s. They love their customers and provide excellent service.

The Search
I was searching for a dry cleaners for my white jacket which had a lot of difficult stains. I use it for work so I had to be careful who I chose and I didn’t feel like bringing it to Madame Paulette in Manhattan. LOL
After reading reviews on about 5 different cleaners, I took a stroll and looked at each one. In the end I picked Lee’s.
The Test
So my white jacket is really expensive all cotton delicate jacket. I also liked how this mom and pop shop is also organic.
I brought my jacket in and showed them all the dirty stains that had settled in.
The owner was honest with me, looked me in the eyes, and said those kind of stains would not allow them to have the jacket ready by the next day.
The Result
So got my jacket back today and super impressed. I checked where all the stains were and they were all gone! Looks brand new! The prices were good as well and I got the feeling that the owner really cared about my jacket. I also appreciate their integrity and honesty. Their smiles and friendliness is great too. Felt good not to be treated like a mass production mill cleaner.
They didn’t rush my jacket, they told me what day it would be ready and it was.

Used Lee’s Cleaners through
and it was fast & easy. Mr. Lee was a pleasure, letting me pickup my dry cleaning a few hours early instead of waiting for the delivery. Using them again today!

I live around the corner from Lee’s so it’s very convenient. Mr and Mrs Lee are always very nice and everything is normally ready on time. I had an issue once where they forgot to clean something and they fixed the problem immediately and called me on my cell phone when it was done. Highly recommend A+

We have lived in the neighborhood for 5 years now and have only had one mix up of a single shirt. Mr. and Mrs. Lee are always friendly, compared to some others in Hobo. Highly recommend.

I really love mr and mrs lee. they do a fantastic job every single time and ive been coming here for about 4 years now! There are so many dry cleaners (probably a dry cleaner/​block) and I still bring all my stuff there even though I live across town. They are the best!

I thought this was my college friend’s family business! I walked in there thinking I would see my friend’s parents running the place. But it was the wrong Dry Cleaner. Anyways, I was in a rush and in a hurry to get my nice suit for my wedding to be cleaned, so I went with this place.
I got it back in a few hours, and the suit wasnt too bad. It was clean enough for me. Staff was ok! Im not asking for them to go out my way, Im just glad they cleaned my suit and made it in time for the reception.

In my girlfriend’s words…“I’ve probably been to Lee’s 10 – 15 times. So far they have LOST 2 of my belongings. The first was my winter jacket which was amazingly «found» three weeks after it was supposed to be ready for pickup. The other were my $ 290 Seven jeans. This is definitely the last time I’m going here. They told me my jeanas were at their other location. Obviously a lie. Then they told me to give them 1 more week to find them. I shouldn’t have to do this but I did, and even gave them 1 additional week. So now 2 weeks later I still don’t have my jeans. They offered to purchase me a different pair (for $ 40) from H&M. My pair was one of a kind and I wanted something similar with jewels on the back. They refused to pay for the similar pair. During the whole process while I calmly and rationally explained that I would have to take them to small claims court and file a police report, they got irate and started yelling at me that that isn’t fair. These folks are really not nice people, are bad businesspeople, and are known in my circle of friends as LOSING (OR STEALING) YOUR CLOTHING! ****oh ps, i’m about 5’1 and 110 pounds… i know they have a daughter… for some reason i think she is probably about my size and that my jeans are being worn by her… losing 2 articles of clothing is hard to believe!!***”

Overpriced. Timely and quick service, but everything from sewing a button to wash-​n-​fold is overpriced. I tried to have a teeny-​tiny hole sewn up, and they were going to charge $ 13. Right next door, at the organic cleaners on 1^st and Willow, they charged me $ 8. Now, that’s more like it.
I will stick to some of the other places in the neighborhood.
