Sweet Nicholas

The store has a nice selection. I only like shopping there when the owner is present. The manager has the worst attitude I’ve ever experienced. Regardless of the clothes… She makes me never want to shop there again.

They have a great selection of jeans! Several different designers and many styles to choose to choose from. I recently stopped in because I was in need of some new denim. The sales woman was super helpful in pulling and suggesting different styles and sizing. I ended up walking out with a great pair of James Jeans flares. I wouldnt have even tried them on but Im glad I took the sales woman’s suggestion! Their prices are fair without the substaintual markup you sometimes see on designer duds in small boutiques.

I really like the clothes that they have in this store. I almost always find something I like. A lot of the other boutiques in town are either ridiculously overpriced or have very cheap merchandise.
My one problem is that I feel like they are always randomly closed. Of the last 5 times I’ve attempted to go to this store, 3 of them they have been closed with a sign that says «back in 15 minutes,» which I just experienced again on Saturday! I will now only shop at this store if I happen to be walking by, I won’t waste a 25 minute round trip walk to get there and have it be closed. One time I tried to get there on a weekend at opening time. I was 5 minutes early so I sat down on a bench outside, waited 10 minutes (until 5 minutes after schedule opening), and found a sign on the door that said «closed, be back in 10 minutes.» How is that even possible??? You show up just to put a sign on the door to say you’re closed?

Love this shop and stop in whenever I am in town. The décor is beautiful and the clothing is everything I want to wear on a daily basis. My mom got a pair of jeans that she swears by. I also got a delicious smelling candle there the last time I went. My fav place in Hoboken!

Been looking for a place like this! Great style, great prices, great quality! Never disappointed when I come by.

What I love about Sweet Nicholas is the style of clothing allows me to feel both chic and comfortable at the same time. It is a great place to pick up staple wardrobe pieces but also if you are in need of something special for date night or even a wedding. This is def. my new favorite hot spot in Hoboken!
