E D Heating Cooling

I recently had Erwin (of E.D. Heating and Cooling) out to my house to repair some ductwork. While cleaning up in my basement workroom, I recently observed a portion of ductwork in my house that was never completed — found this after 35 years! This was an open section of air return ductwork, hidden up until recently by the supply duct. Anyway, Erwin returned my initial call and came out to my house promptly, evaluated the problem/​solution and provided me a quote the same day. After having another company also come out and estimate the repair, I decided to go with E.D. Heating and Cooling because I liked his solution the best.
Erwin showed up when promised and had no problem with my observing his work and interacting with him while he worked. Erwin had to cut out a section of supply air ducting to open up workspace to repair the return air duct. He did the repair of the return duct and then replaced the supply duct — taking great pains to seal all the joints with either aluminum tape, duct sealant or silicone. This section of ducting is undoubtedly the tightest section in the whole house! I was very pleased with the quality of Erwin’s work, his attention to detail, not feeling like he was on a clock and only had so much time to work on my project, and his reasonable price for the amount of work he did. I would use Erwin again and recommend him to my friends.
