Really good beer list… which can be difficult considering the area. The food is equally both as bar snacks or a meal. The service on the bar too is quite attentive and conversationally friendly. If in the area, it is a nice spot to stop in for a quick bite and a tasty brew.

Burger was ok, fries were good, service was decent. Probably won’t come here again. Was looking for a meal just before midnight. Unfortunately not many places open late in this town. Buddy ordered Tt California chicken sandwich and said it was very good. M

Hops always has a great selection of beer on tap and they say it changes weekly which I think is pretty awesome! Food is good as well. Service can be bad at times but overall it’s a good experience.

Where has customer service gone? Does everyone hate there job now days!?? The bartender who looks like Steve from sex and the city served us tonight and he was extremely Rude when my friend ordered a drink after me he let out a huge sigh because he didn’t want to make it. And the crazy part, is that he didn’t try to hide it and began to tell us he only likes it when you order at the same time?! I’m pretty sure he was the manager too, scary stuff happening now days people thinking rude will get you far.

Was seated promptly, courteous service. Waitress very nice and attentive. Portions generous, so we did take quite a bit home. Enjoyed seeing drinks provided by local small companies. I don’t even do gluten free(however my friend does), and it was still among the best pizza I’ve had. Was given opportunity to dine at leisure and catch up with my friend since first grade.

Nice atmosphere. My husband and I liked that they have a decent but not overwhelming selection of craft beer. Or you can just get a bud light. We were there around 3 pm and decided to grab an appetizer since it was half off. The spinach and artichoke dip was excellent. It was hot and we could tell it wasn’t grabbed from a freezer, thank goodness! They serve it with chips and pita bread. We will definitely be returning! Much better than when it was just 84 east

Cialey is a horrible waitress. Waters empty, didn’t bring appetizer out. Didn’t even realize it never came out and also never checked on us to see if everything was alright!

Excellent pizza great friendly service as well. highly recommend if you are the Holland area. As I usually am alone when traveling I like to gauge a restaurant or bar by how well they treat me as compared to traveling with my wife or work colleagues. I must say I was welcomed by not one but three beaming smiles from the staff. The hostess, my server, and I will guess and say the shift manager. So I found the service and attention to be excellent. My pizza was wonderful! Good crust great sauce flavor and baked to perfection. Served on a raised nub tray to keep it from getting soggy! Excellent all way round hope to visit again soon next time through the area

We ordered the Santa fe and Mediterranean pizzas. They were EXCELLENT. They say serves 1 – 2 but 3 pizzas served 7 hungry people and we had leftovers. Their calamari was delicious as well, but I would go back just for the pear martini. Absolutely delicious!

Refused 25 of us because we were a ‘Hockey Team’. We had a group of 25(10 kids and 15 parents) happy to check out a new place in Holland. Unfortunately they lost our business. If we were a basketball, volleyball or baseball team they would have happily served us we were told… Interesting philosophy. Way to discriminate. Very disappointed.

Go here for great local brews. I had Allison as my server. She knew her stuff and was super nice. This place is newly remodeled, although I didn’t try the food, the atmosphere is better than New Holland Brewery.

We visited Hops on a chilly Friday evening in Holland, especially for two Atlantans! We peered through the glass front and loved the mellow atmosphere of the patrons — definitely needed after a hectic conference in Grand Rapids! The SMOG pizza, which I had on a gluten-free crust, was perfect; my sweetheart was surprised at the unexpectedly delicious spaghetti pie! I tried cider samplers and he pronounced the beer samplers he tried delicious. The selection will satisfy any beer lover! It was a wonderful experience with warm and attentive service in a beautiful restaurant in a lovely little town. If you’re in the area, you should definitely stop in. And don’t forget to take a close look at the ArtPrize 2014 painting!

I give this 4 stars based on our service. Food would get a 3. Not bad just not great. Good Hop chopped salad($ 12.00). decent pizza with pepperoni($ 13.00) I would give it 7⁄10 but make sure to pass on the wings, they are way below average. Order of 12($ 12.00). Ranch dressing was very good. Text systems used as seating notification which is nice so you can walk around town. Wait on a Sunday night @ 7:30 was 25 minutes. Service from Ashley G. was friendly and attentive. We aren’t really beer drinkers but it was nice to order a sampler of four to try new things. Sampler of 4 was $ 5.00. Bloody Mary bar on Saturdays 11 – 3 would be nice to try.

We went for lunch during the week. It wasn’t too busy and the garage door style windows were open letting in a great breeze. The beer was very good, I got a sampler. $ 5 for 44oz beers. The gluten free pizza was very good as was the spinach dip and chips.

I went there on a Saturday at 2:00 after deciding not to go to New Holland because they were packed. I’m happy that we went here. Great beer selection. I got the BLT2.0 and it was fantastic. I will be returning anytime I need food in Holland.

Writing a review after being here for the second time. Great place if you love ipa’s. Their beer selection is quite large. The service has been good both times. The food selection is limited. I recommend trying the baked spaghetti pie or any of the pizzas. The facility is pretty big and is excellent for large groups and small groups.

Great beer selection(heavy on the IPAs) and excellent service. 30% off college/industry on Monday. $ 5 off growler fill on Tuesday. We didn’t order food, but the menu was appealing.

This place has a great beer selection and alright food. My associate and I much prefer it to going to New Holland. Our experiences have mostly been favorable, but the last two times we couldn’t help remarking on the obviously sour attitude of the host that ushered us to our table. That dude hates his job – and quite possibly his life, if his facial expression is any indication. He seemed to be rolling his eyes every time I glanced at him. He looked like he was having a ceaseless internal monologue about how incompetent everyone in his vicinity was. And he never acknowledged anyone who thanked him. If there’s an idiom dictionary with the definition of «stick up his/her ass» in it, this young man’s photo belongs next to it. Needless to say, his attitude left an impression on us. I don’t know if it’s enough dissuade us from returning again, but I left Hops with a bad taste in my mouth, and that’s bad news for any restaurant.
