** BEST CARNITAS **. Although this is officially a grocery store, on Sundays they make carnitas and serve as take-​out from the meat counter. Succulent, juicy, melt-​in-​your mouth, pork like you wouldn’t believe. Better than a Hawaiian barbeque. You had better get there before noon, because they sell out quickly.
This place is tiny but packed with lots of great imported Mexican specialty food items. Need a good piñata, they have many really large ones in the back. Just ask to see them.
Look for the aztec calendar mural on the side of the building facing Line Street. It’s the first mural that I know of to grace Hollister.
