I’ve had mostly good experience with this location. However, I called ahead and placed my order which was not ready when I arrived. They churned it out fairly quickly though. But, they gave me the wrong crust on one! Not a huge deal but I prefer the thin crust and received original. Overall, everyone was very nice and I will be going back. Just wanted to post this for owners or managers reading their own reviews-hopefully. Update-I called to let them know what happened and they are giving me 25% off one pizza next visit which I’m happy with.

I truthfully don’t believe it’s really that much cheaper then and pizza place that cooks the pizza for you but for a take and bake it’s still good stuff sign up for their email club and you get a free thing of cookie dough

This place is great. Never really had any issues from here. I eat here about 1 a month and every time the food looks and taste great and the people inside are friendly and helpful. Also I use coupons with every visit unless they have a better special which they tell me every time I call in to place my order.

This place used to have a more friendly atmosphere. Since the new owners have taken over, that has all changed. There is no effort to make a connection with costumers and there is more restrictions on coupons; as well as restrictions on options when customizing a pizza to ones liking. I used to enjoy eating here because the workers and owners where happy to do things for their customers. The new owners express a vibe that shows how they do not care about the customers happiness-they only care for the money. What used to be an a great place with happy workers owned by people who cared about the community, has changed in to a more industrialized business.

After the change in ownership the service has changed completely. I have been very disappointed with the changes since my last time there. Wait times are much shorter, however this is outweighed by a new policy that allows only one coupon per transaction. In addition, I recently ordered a side of chicken and was told they don’t do that anymore. Before if a customer asked for a side the toppings would be put in a separate container. Some people are allergic to some toppings, after all I am the one paying. In the end they put the topping in a unreasonably small container. Cutting back on things people used to love about the store sure is a great way to lose customers.

Had to write a review — this place has really gone down hill. The new owners must be not understanding what a small town this is… The word gets around here… I have been astonished by the lack of customer service and nickel and diming now. We no longer have customer appreciation talley cards and the coupon use is limited. I shouldn’t feel cheated when I go to this place but I now do.

Made the mistake of not calling my order in, but it was 11:50 in the morning. No one was in the store. Placed order, ran next door, got back & the customer that came in behind me got their TWO pizzas first. Waited 25 minutes. Too slow for me!

This place used to be great. Not so much anymore. The last two visits were just that; our last visits here. The time before we ordered and were told 25 minutes. 30 minutes later we showed up and our pizza wasn’t ready. The guy behind the counter looked under his paperwork at the register and pulled out our ticket which had obviously been buried. Rather than state the obvious and apologize he said the pizza would be right up. 20 minutes later our pizza was ready. The order was incorrect to boot. Tonight, we ordered our usual again. As I was cutting it, I noticed a chemical smell. When we bit into it, it tasted like it smelled. Inedible. $ 20 in the trash. Not going to waste my money anymore.

I don’t understand how this place doesn’t have better reviews. Its a tasty, fresher, customizeable alternative to all the fattening overly processed food in Hollister! The toppings are loaded up high and the service is always fast. Being entirely staffed by high schoolers, you should pretty much just expect mistakes to be made but they’re always happy to fix anything and very polite. The mediterranean de-lite pizza I brought home was delicious and they got my strange order(half with no meat, artichokes instead, no marinara sauce, garlic and olive oil instead, extra black olives) perfect.

I have been a fan of this Papa Murphy’s Take N Bake for years. For the most part always delicious pizza made to my order and fairly good service. But today I went in my my usual Delite with 2 toppings to find that the prices have gone up OVER20%!!! Really??? In this economy??? Surely if a rise in prices is necessary, over 20% is a gouge!!! Guess pizza will be a treat we will have to give up!

Stood at the counter for 15 minutes. Not one employee took my order or asked me to please wait.

I phoned in my order for 3 different types of pizza and when I arrived they only had 2 of my pizza on their order slip. I asked how long it would take to correct my order and it would be another 10 minutes. Unfortunately, I had groceries in my car on an extremely hot day so I had to forgo the third pizza. They have lost another long time customer. It seems the service is not what it used to be.

There is just something about the flavor of their dough and sauce I just have never liked that much. But on occasion, we still order pizza from there. The last time my father and I went, it was packed. After waiting in line for a while, we finally gave our order, the girl used the wrong sauce and had to remake our pizza. Ok, mistakes happen. So when we finally got our correct order, we asked the boy at the register how much, and my father pulls out his check book. He hands the check to the kid who STOOD there the entire time and WATCHED him pull his check book out, write it all out, and rip it out before he says«Oh we don’t take checks» as soon as he hands it to him. Umm, hello?! Couldn’t you have said something while you watched us write the darn thing out. No common sense at all. We were so frustrated with the service that we left the pizza’s there and walked out. It’s only going to be Round Table(which accepts checks, woohoo!) from now on out.

I hate giving this place two stars. As a 10-year customer I have NEVER had a bad experience at Papa Murphy’s. The pizza has always been good and so has the service. Until now. My husband purchased a family size 5-meat stuffed pizza and it had very little cheese and very little sauce. So, I called the restaurant and informed the young lady who answered what had happened. She said she would make another one and put more cheese and sauce on the pie. The second pizza he received was not much different than the first. He was informed that the pizza preparers are told to add just enough, a garnish if you will. Well, for $ 18 I expect a pizza to have cheese and sauce! I will be contacting the corporate office tomorrow and let them know what’s going on.

I have called 3 times tonight, the phone just rang, no answer. I can’t understand how they can stay in business if they don’t answer the phone. I know they are open, and I understand they are busy, but that is NO excuse to completely ignore their customers. I am just going to call Round Table instead.

The take-n-bake pizza and calzones offered here are excellent. Their dough is made fresh daily and they offer both thin and thick crust. Their pepperoni pizza is loaded with pepperoni. You get double the amount of pepperoni compared to all the other pizza places in town. Ask for extra cheese and you get triple the amount of cheese. The cookie dough and garlic bread are also very good(if you can find them, lots of times they are out). Call ahead and by the time you arrive your pizza is usually ready. Not only that, they are community friendly. They have supported the Pop Warner Viking Football and Cheer nearly every year with a special day where a portion of the profits are donated back to the organization. On Halloween, they even give out mini pizzas to trick or treaters until they run out. It’s little things like this that make this business special. The price is also right. There is nearly a «hot deal» running every week. You get a big bang for your buck. There are back-to-school specials, superbowl specials, 2 for 1 specials, and many more. Pick up one of their customer appreciation cards and after 8 stamps, you can buy a pizza for ½ off. For more deals you can sign up for their email newsletter on their website and receive monthly coupons and notifications by e-mail. Perfectly located next to Blockbuster Video. Pizza and a movie! Great for rainy days and slumber parties.

If you like getting a lot of pizza for not much money you are probably familiar with Papa Murphys Pizza. This is a nationwide chain but this location in particular is superior to others. It has been owned for a few years now by a real nice guy named Victor. Since he has taken over there have been some changes that really help the community. Almost every week this Papa Murphys in particular will offer coupons/discounts to donate a percentage of profits to local schools which is great in my book. Also has had things like customer appreciation day where large pizzas were 4 bucks or so. Coupons are always in the daily newspaper and coupon booklets and the staff is always warm and friendly. If you call in an order for a pizza and are not sure what you want the staff is always ready to help and most of the time you can show up 10 minutes later and have your pizzas ready to go. Theres a pizza to fit any type of appetite here and this is the best place to get dinner in a hurry for less than 10 bucks that will actually feed a few people.
