The Good, the Bad, the OK, and the Ugly. The Good: Amazing sweet buttery rolls. This were very addictive. Hot melt in your mouth tastiness. They also came with cinnamon butter that made each one a delightful dessert. The Bad: I asked for an Arnold Palmer(half ice tea/half lemonade) and he clarified unsweetened and I confirmed. This was a horrible concoction of pure sugar. It was still fully yellow with maybe a hint of tea. Could only stomach half before giving up. I would’ve asked for another but I didn’t seem him again until the meal was over. The OK: I ordered a legendary 6oz sirloin medium rare. He said, pink all around? I tilted my head and looked again at the menu(which says specifically«pink throughout«is medium, «red center» medium rare) to specify«No, that is medium I would like medium rare please!» He confirmed… And it arrived medium. It tasted decent although a bit more basic seasoning would be better. For 1 side I had use loaded sweet potatoes. That was an interesting combo of flavors. They were decent, but something was off the whole time. I’m still not quite sure but it lacked something. The Ugly: My last side I ordered fresh vegetables. What came was an embarrassment. Broccoli steamed(broiled maybe?) and drowned until an almost limp mush. They also seemed to somehow make carrots that were mushy in the outside and hard on the inside. Very weird combo. The décor: Gaudy typical bar style restaurant with neon everywhere and a dull roar that is the hallmark of American dining. Peanut shells line the floor for that extra rustic feel. Not entirely bad for a ~$ 15 meal, but not good either. If it wasn’t for the rolls, I would recommend anywhere else.

In spite of the rain it was crowded when we got there, but the bar was open and we were seated immediately. My heart fell when I saw all the young girls behind the bar. My usual experience in other places has been that they have a convulsive grip on their cellphones and their consequent customer service is a contradiction in terms. I could not have been more wrong. These girls provided excellent friendly service. Although the bar was full we never felt ignored, drinks were quickly refilled, empty plates were removed immediately and the servers were constantly scanning the bar to see if something had to be done. My partner had the«Road Kill» which was very good and I had the sirloin, medium rare, cooked to perfection. I had the Caesar salad and vegetables as side dishes and both were very good. Like The Terminator said, «I’ll be Baaack!»

My first night in Texas and I was brought here for dinner. The buckets of peanuts were very enjoyable. all the waiters were super friendly. Everyone at my table but me got a steak dinner. I got the chicken salad, which was probably one of the best salads I’ve ever had in my life. Tempura chicken on top of a salad with bacon, eggs, cheese, croutons and tons of ranch. the fresh hot biscuits were delicious as well. I’ll definitely come back!

Sarah was very polished and personable. Did not like all the crumbs left on my booth from previous guest. Also, the booth seat was torn and a loose patch of gray tape failed to conceal it and all the gunk inside this hole in the seat. I uploaded a picture. The iced tea I was served had two ice cubes and the diet Coke for my companion came out tasting like a mixture of Tab, RC, and Hill Country Fare brand cola. Sure sign of a filthy drink machine. We sent it back and opted for another glass of iced tea. The wings were great, so was salad. We each had the«Roadkill» which is a chopped steak. It was ok, but when I asked Sarah if it was ground sirloin she said«it should be.» It had a gamey taste. Might come back again when I get my free appetizer for texting to their VIP Club.

The service was a little slow but good. The steaks were not seasoned and one out of three was under cooked. The kabob was good.

This was my first time at a Teaxs roadhouse and it was great. I ordered a steak and sweet potato, my meal was amazing. Service was ok due to the volume of customers. I ended up sitting at the bar due to the wait times. Glad I did the bartender was great as well. I will revisit!!!

my first review of 2016! & it’s dedicated to my steak, yum! my friend recommended me this place for a tasty affordable steak & im glad she was right! i wanted to get the prime rib but they were already sold out for dinner! i asked the server what was another popular cut and she recommended the ft. worth ribeye(10 oz. $ 15.99) i ordered it rare and it came out how i liked it. it came with two sides and i chose mashed potatoes with the white gravy and the green beans. i was very content with my meal. my steak had a great flavor and the sides were delish! next time i will try to add the sautéed onions($ 1.99) to add more flavor. i ordered the huge sangria but i felt like there wasn’t much alcohol in it. each table had complimentary bread rolls and peanuts which was nice. the service was constant, i like when servers don’t overly come to your table. she was very nice and both my friend and i enjoyed it very much. i was lucky she took me here because she doesn’t really eat red meat! overall, i would definitely come back and recommend this place if you were craving an affordable steak meal!

This place always has a wait that can be more than 30 minutes. One of my daughter’s friend told us we could call ahead and have our name placed on the waiting list. We tried it, and it really worked. Even though people were waiting all the way outside, we got seated in less than 10 minutes. I like the peanuts at the table. You can start snacking as soon as you sit down to look at your menu. Vickie was our waitress, and she really took good care of us. She had that fresh baked bread, with honey butter, in front of us quickly. That bread is the main reason we go here. We started off with rattlesnake bites, more bread, and salads. Then the main meal came — small top sirloin, baked sweet potato, and green beans. It was all good, but we got way too much food. I came out having gained 5 pounds. My wife and daughter felt the same. Will I return? As soon as I drop the 5 pounds I gained tonight.

Came here with the hubby for his birthday because he’s an absolute carnivore. Always a long wait, but we grabbed some drinks at the bar while we waited. The bartender was sweet and super fast on our drink orders. When we were finally seated they gave us the infamous rolls. Good lord those rolls… Next time I’ll just order a beer and some rolls ok? Anyways, hubby got the rattlesnake bites and they arrived frozen, so the waiter took them back and gave us a fresh set which were really delicious. I ordered the ribs which are awesome here, I was just too full after all the bread! Gah! Service is always really nice here.

I have never before been to this popular chain restaurant but I was in the mood for good ribs. I heard this was the place to go! Glad I did! I placed an order to go with Sarah, who was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. She highly recommended the ribs and promised they would not be «fatty!» When I arrived I was promptly greeted by Sarah(although the restaurant was terribly busy). She remembered who I was and cheerfully went over my order with me. Well done. Everything was exactly as I had ordered. She was considerate enough to place all condiments(I.e. Baked potato toppings, sauce, butter, etc.), on the side since it was a to go order. The food was delicious! I ate so much I could barely sleep! I ordered the Baby Back Ribs, delicious oversized baked potato, with a side of corn.

I called in an order TOGO. I called on a Sunday evening at 9:30pm. They close at 10pm. I received the best service! From the moment they answered the phone until the moment I walked out the door with my order! Ryan was the manager that night. He is an exceptional manager! I work in the industry so I know the level of customer service that should be given. Ryan went above and beyond that. The place was still packed and I left at 10pm(closing time) that says alot. I highly recommend this Texas Roadhouse!

A solid Texas Roadhouse. Once you’ve had one, you’ve had them all in my experience. I don’t typically enjoy going to chain restaurants likes this, but my husband needed to watch the Cowboys game and I wanted an onion blossom. It seemed to be a great compromise. We ordered a onion blossom, a steak plate with a side salad and mashed potatoes, a half rack of ribs plate with a side salad and baked potato, and a margarita. Everything was exactly as we expected. I do enjoy their rolls and butter. My husband enjoyed his steak, but I was so full by the time I got to my ribs, that they’re sitting in my fridge as I type. I knocked one star because our server didn’t return before the end of our meal to see if I wanted another drink. I probably would have taken one, while my husband watched more of the game, but by the time she returned and offered, we were ready to go.

My parents’ favorite steak house. Another thing that makes Chinese parents happy besides having their kid get a PhD is to save money. Well unlike my foodie self my parents don’t like eating out a lot let alone eating at fancy places. When they do eat out tho they like restaurants that are reasonably priced with good value b/c…it saves money, duh! This place is up their alley. I took them here twice per their request when they visited me from out of town. That says how much they like this steak house. They liked the ambience, the friendly service, the freshly made steak and tasty sides. And they liked the fact that they could throw peanut shells on the floor. I don’t usually eat at chain restaurants. But my picky self have to agree with them tho b/c we had such a great time here on both visits. I’ve had hundred dollar steaks before but the steak here was deff not too shabby for the price we paid. Our servers were extremely friendly and attentive. I was so pleased with the service that I left more than 25% tips on both trips. Guess parents do know the best, don’t they?!

This Texas Roadhouse is probably my favorite one to come to. Now i will tell you of course their is going to be a wait, especially on a Friday or Saturday night. I must be one of the lucky ones because I have always had good service coming here. The only part that usually isn’t good are the hostesses up front. They tend to stand around and talk more than trying to seat customers. I usually always come here if i’m craving a steak. I like mine medium rare and they make it so good. I’ve never been disappointed on my steak. One thing I do not order there anymore are the green beans. They always seem very greasy and heavy to me. I like my green beans but more on the healthy side. I can’t talk about the food without mentioning the bread and cinnamon butter. Its so good! I could go there and eat just bread and leave happy. I’ve had friends who have tried other things also and been happy. I do plan out my time if I want to come here. I usually try to get there right before the dinner rush starts just to make sure I don’t have to wait long. Good food, good place. I’ll be back!
