Animal Medical Center At Cooper City

Don’t go here!!! We were new to the area and someone said they used to take their dog here, so we went. It has been nothing but an expensive nightmare. They insisted on giving our 16 year old pet vaccinations that aren’t needed and wanted to initiate a $ 700 – 900 tooth cleaning on the same dog — but the night after the vaccinations and exams, she «all of a sudden» developed a major neurological issue that is now causing us to put her down just days after going to this horrible place. The doctors at this place didn’t warn of us anything or find anything… they simply want us to spend hundreds or actually thousands of more dollars for monitoring so they can figure it out. I will drive the 50 miles now to my old vet from now on until I can find one I can trust because American Medical Center at Cooper City is not trustworthy!!! Don’t take your pet here.

If your thinking of taking your pet that you care for DON’T!!! I was turned away this morning at 7am because I disputed a charge 3 yrs ago for a procedure they didn’t do. They vet lied. When I went this morning my dog was in pain and I was not allowed to see anyone. This place should be shut down, they don’t care about your pet only how much money the can get from you. Please help me spread the word about these people. The vet has no compassion for animals and his license should be taken away. They do not deserve any stars but it won’t let me post unless I put at least one so just note they don’t get any really.

What a great place! On Friday afternoon, our pointer mix had blood in his urine and we were in panic mode. Called our regular vet to schedule an emergency appointment, but the doctor had left for the day. Instead of just saying sorry, the office recommended AMCCC. What a blessing. We took Sammy to the clinic. Wait time was relatively short since they were dealing with another emergency and Sammy was not a critical case. Examination was thorough and the doctor was very compassionate and explained the tests that would be run. After the results she came back and explained the diagnosis and treatment plan. I was very impressed with the care given. What made this a 5 star review was the follow up call on Sunday to check on Sammy. Michael was able to answer our questions about mixing medicines and was very helpful. Thanks for the great care and follow up service!
