Denny’s

Terrible service The server was very rude and did not bring me toast at all she kept walking back and forth and ignoring my needs looks like Denny’s is on the bottom of my list. IM GOING TO IHOP. LOL

Today I went out to dinner with my family to this Denny’s location. The overall environment and vibe for this place is mediocre at best with some of the booths seats have 5 inch rips in the leather. The service was ok at first until she brought the bill. She tried to over charge us on some of the items on the bill, and I know this because I order the same thing at other Denny’s locations.
The food was alright. I mean what can you say about Denny’s really only good for breakfast on the way to Las Vegas. I personally ordered a chicken avocado Caesar salad and they barely put any avocado on it. The lettuce looked yellowish green instead of a nice looking light green color. The iced coffee my dad got was a joke and shouldn’t even be on the menu at all. I mean I will definitely come back to this location, but not out of choice more likely a decision another family made and I just come along way with them.

Decent place for a hearty Breakfast. The service was not great. I am glad that the menu has a variety of desserts, tasty, but very high-​calorie

I have had two stellar experiences at Dennys. One at this location and the other at the location in North Hollywood on Burbank/​Lankershim. And it all boils down to the servers. I am blanking on the young lady’s name in NoHo, but she’s amazing! She treats you as if you’re at a 5 star restaurant. The one on sunset has a server named Deleon. Great service, charming, personable, fast, wonderful, easy on the eyes. Ask for Deleon if you visit. Excellent service makes you feel good about your self and you enjoy your meal so much better. Based on my last two visits to these two very different Denny’s, I have received consistent extraordinary service. Kudos to Denny’s on the HR tip. And on that not I present you with the coveted 5 stars

This Denny’s is the worst service ever. The service is so damn slow and the lady forgot my Coke when I asked her for it 2 times already and I haven’t gotten it yet after 5 mins. I’m never coming to this Denny’s EVER again

A friend of mine and myself went to this Denny’s on Friday good food great service them I went back this past Sunday morning bad service and the coffee was nasty I may try the other one down the roaf

At first walking in the security guard was not bike friendly… But with great management I was able to eat at the diner with my bicycle in a safe spot. Although the diner seemed a bit short staff our servers Vicky and Javier were always friendly and apologetic. I enjoyed my meal and allowing my bike to be stored away from any harm earned this 5 star

Upon sitting down, our lovely waitress asked ‘What do you want?!’
I had to ask 3 times for a clean coffee cup because the ones my coffee was provided in had stains and crumbs on them… CLEARLY unwashed. Oh! And our waitress rolled her eyes at me TWICE for having the nerve to want a clean cup.
My food was so bad that I ate less than 10% of it. The sausage was grey, the eggs were ice cold and hard to the touch and the hash browns were covered in water.
This was hands down the worst dining experience I have ever had.

Krystal A was our waitress & what a treat! She was very helpful, attentive & adorable. The food was tasty considering we paid 10.60 for both of us — will be returning when craving Denny’s in my belly.

My experience at Denny’s
Okay so as soon as I walked inside, I was sat. They asked me what we wanted to drink so my girlfriend asked for a water and I asked for a coffee. She comes back with two waters. After that she asked if we were ready to order and we asked for a few minutes. She comes backs, still no coffee. She takes down our order and my coffee is now part of my order hoping I get it this time. When our server was done, she placed our order and was just kinda standing around when I was hoping she would bring me my coffee. After 5 more minutes, she comes back with two coffees as I forgot to mention my girlfriend ordered one too. So I waited 10 minutes for a coffee.
Our food took 20 minutes to come out and it was cold!. To top it off, they took it back, microwaved it, and brought it back. I also ordered for an extra French toast and they didn’t bring it. I had to re order one. Out of hunger, we chose to eat what we had ordered. They brought my extra French toast 5 min later. Ps, they didn’t serve me a syrup bottle. I had to get my own from a different table.
Came Around 11 pm, not busy. 5 servers. Yammy needs more training. Not coming back. Overall rate of today — 3

Here on Vettans Day. The wait is not too long but once seated the place is pretty empty. I’m guessing there’s not enough wait staff to cover the demand. It’s basic management to know you’ll be busier in a holiday that you are giving free meals to Veterans. That said, I love that Denny’s does this every year.

Where to begin? Let me start off with the unbussed smelly table left for over an hour on a slow day right next to us. Then I’ll move into our rude waitress who rolled her eyes at us about 12 times. Then the dead flies all over including the one on my table. Next, my wife’s my wife’s undercooked my wife’s my wife’s undercooked eggs. Save yourself the trouble and avoid it.

Excellent food, but the service is always terrible. I’ve been here 3 times in a week and the only reason I keep coming back is because the cook knows what he’s doing. I’ve never been greeted walking in, barely greeted at the table, and all the waiters/​waitresses seem super stressed because the restaurant is understaffed. They have a nice value menu option where you can get cool deals like a stack of pancakes (2 stack) for $ 2, a cheese quesadilla for $ 2 (if you’re in the plain Jane mood) and the everyday value slam comes with 2 pancakes, 2 eggs, and your choice of sausage or bacon for just $ 4.
Although customer service here absolutely sucks, I will say that their breakfast is one of the best diner tasting experiences I’ve had in a while and that’s what keeps me coming back. The pancakes are always super fluffy and all around mouth watering.

The Asian lady waitress is so sweet! There’s a younger blonde waitress who is very sweet too. They always make sure me and my BFF Izzy have fresh coffee. Thanks Denny’s at Gower Gulch for being our Thursday night hang out spot!
I wish there were mirrors in the ladies room.

It’s a decent enough Denny’s. They have wifi here and their own parking lot. Considering most places aren’t 24 hours, and most of the ones that are don’t have wifi or outlets, this is sort of a gem if you’re a night owl who needs his laptop charged and get his work done.
$ 3 unlimited coffee? Better call some Korean gamers, cause that shit is impossible to beat.

your standard Denny’s but very clean and the employees were very nice. I was very happy with the service.

Probably the worst Denny’s we ever ate at. It’s Denny’s, so you don’t expect a gourmet feast, but you do expect decent service!
At this location, you can park only for an hour, so that sucks. We had a working meeting here and that was stressful.
They were cleaning the windows the whole time we were there (in front, at a booth near by), pretty annoying.
Worst customer service ever in a Denny’s, the waitress was wearing some walkie-​talkies gear and her English was so bad, you couldn’t understand a word she was saying (I’m from another country, too, so I’m tolerant, but still…).
The water glasses were dirty, the water tasted horribly. We tried to get more since it was hot, well, that was lost in translation.
It took a while to get our food (pancakes from the value menu) and a BLT with fries (pretty bad fries). But we got the bill right away, once we got the food and the waitress was looming over my husband to make sure she’s getting a tip! That never happened before to us.
Mediocre food, horrible service, never again!

I came here one more time, to meet a buddy who lives in the area. I thought that maybe this time would be a lot better than the last. Nope!
The crowd was a bit better, young adults who know how to carry themselves. It was the customer service that was very bad. First off, they screwed up both our orders. I asked them to correct it, and they messed up on the second try. Granted, if the place was busy I would be more understanding. But the place was pretty empty.
They were very slow in delivery, and not receptive at all. Would not recommend, head to the location on Sunset off the 101 instead.

This Denny’s is cleaner, better staffed and quicker than the one off Vermont.
Waitress got my food to me with the quickness. And even though she was pretty busy she still checked up on me regularly. Her name was Dulce.
Will come back to this location for next Denny’s trip.
