Hubby and I gave this place a second try and everything is much improved. The calamari as a starter was very tasty and fresh. We also started off with some drinks from the bar that were refreshing. Our server Vincenzo gave the right amount of service and gave us excellent recommendations when it came to wine and food. The steaks were cooked exactly as ordered and had so much flavour we didn’t even need the sauce. Mashed potatoes were some of the best we’ve had… they tasted home made. For dessert we went with the chocolate cake with a side of ice cream. I recommend getting a delicious cappuccino with it.

Was here for a work meeting and had a private room for dinner. Food was pretty good, although we ordered from a pre set menu. My big issue was the service. While I know we were with a group, the service was sub par for the caliber of restaurant that they claim to be. Wine came well after bread, and we had to ask many times to fill up wine and water glasses. Think they still need to work out the kinks but the food was really good. If you can get past the service, it is a pretty decent restaurant.

Hello Fellow Unilocalers! Wow, what can I say besides stay away. This prices is remotely pricey, unless you compare to some other top end Steak and Seafood locations(such as NYY Prime or REDS in Miami). I personally can be picking coming from a family of culinary specialist. Yet, for what it is worth the food was over priced and bare far no better then your average restaurants. The food quality is top notch but not done right. My girlfriend came into town to surprise me for my birth day, I wanted to check out Margaritaville and she booked reservations here for six of us. The ambiance is nice and the location is classy. Things first started off sideways with our waiter, he barley spoke English and was soft spoken. After ordering he would tend to HOVER over us which can be annoying. He would clean things off the table even a crumb if it was left on the table as we were eating, this seemed very unsettling as we were still eating. The food we ordered was three Bone-In Ribeyes /King crab /Lobster /and A fish dish(the sixth guess was my young nephew only 1 yrs old). The food looked amazing at glance and the presentation was good. The King crab/Lobster was way under cooked as the shell could not crack even with the utensil used to assist in this process. My girlfriend fought for dear life trying to get these open and when she really got into the meal it quickly went from warm to cold. As for our steaks we ordered a medium-rare, and two medium– well. The steaks were not very warm coming to the table so those also dried up fast and got cold. I am use to an Aju, butter or some sort of gravy with our steaks. This was not an option we had to request this and they charged us $ 3.00 for the add-on. The Steak and Chops do not come with a side«yet for $ 10 they do give you a large portion that came be shared per item» we ordered the Creamy Spinach which was cold. As for my final complaint when the check at around $ 283 being what we expected for a place of this caliber arrived the waiter hovered since we did not want coffee or desert waiting for us to pay. They did tell them it was my bday so they surprised me with a Lava Cake and Small Ice ream on dark chocolate which was the best thing presented all night. My other guest provided us with cash as we did not want to bother with splinting a check. My girlfriend was treating me and asked the waiter to use the cash and put the rest of the charge on her wellsfargo debt account. At this time the waiter went to cash our check and came speeding back over after attempting to run her card, the bank froze her account for suspicious transactions. As well all know they can do that if you are out of town and make a large transaction. The waiter walked over to her with the card in his hand through the dinning room and placed it on the table in which we were elbow to elbow with another group of 6 and said this had declined. There was no discrepancy and being«soft spoken all night» he decided to project this information to her in a louder tone. She then responded that is not possible, let me call my bank they may have froze my card. The guy said no we need payment now, so I was fast to pull my debt card out and just make the additional $ 113 payment. I thought this was very unprofessional and inappropriate, I will be calling to file a complaint with the restaurant and Margaritaville. I would recommend staying away from this location while they still work out there«KINKSAND try REDS in Miami» Thanks, Dom Vito

EXCELLENT!!! This place was worth the wait. The seafood tasted like they just fished it. Our waiter was exceptional. Everything that he suggested was better than expected. I highly recommend this restaurant.

My husband and I went here for our date night and we have absolutely NO complaints about this place. Marissa the bartender makes amazing drinks, the Fortune teller was my favorite. She was also so sweet and personal. Absolutely loved her!!! We then had dinner and our server was Mauricio, and he was also amazing. His recommendations were on point. We had the seafood platter and the aged ribeye with brussel sprouts. To die for!!! We will definitely be regulars here from now on. It’s a little hidden gem.

I’m gave it 5 stars, and here’s why; My wife and I started at the bar while we were waiting for our table and Marissa was our bartender. My wife is a vodka gal but Marissa converted her to gin with here amazing cocktail called the Fortune Teller. Then the hostess texted us when our table was ready. Great use of technology. Next our server Maurico was extremely knowledgeable when it came to the menu. I just let him recommend everything to us and it was wonderful amd on point. Then the manager Halle(hope I spelled it right) came by our table and was super nice and made us feel like regulars. Now on to the food. I had the raw bar platter and words won’t do it justice. Again at Maurico’s recommendation, we had the aged ribeye, and it is to die for. Cooked to perfection. I can’t say enough wonderful things about this place and it’s service. I will come back and I recommend this place to anybody that loves great food and marvelous service. Thanks again Marissa and Maurico. Keep up the great work

Too bad I can’t give this restaurant the 4.5 rating that it deserves. The two downsides: it’s too pricey and there is no happy hour. Now for what is great: the service is among the best we have experienced – that is about you Paul, our server in the dining room and Will, the bartender. Paul: you were amazingly welcoming, knowledgeable and helpful. You guided us perfectly throughout the entire eating experience as if we were a match made in heaven for this restaurant. Same is true for Will. You two made us feel good about splurging. And the food was GREAT – some of the best tasting food, cooked perfectly to order, we have ever had. The space, too, is beautiful. An exceptional eating experience and know that we have a lot of them. The best fine dining experience on Hollywood Beach.

Our group made a large party reservation to celebrate a birthday weeks prior to our plans to eat here. When we arrived, the incredibly rude manager informed us that our reservation was cancelled and the 18 of us could not be accommodated. She supposedly had tried to call us earlier in the day(and there is no cell phone reception in the hotel) and since she didn’t hear back from us later that day cancelled our reservation. She wouldn’t find us another solution, blamed us for showing up with 18 people, cut us off when speaking with her, and was extremely unhelpful. I’ve never had anything happen like this to me and I didn’t think we were going to find a solution until we got the hotel manager involved. After waiting for 45 minutes past our reservation we were finally sat at our original table. The hotel manager was truly great and was the only reason this was fixed. All of our food was amazing and our waiters were superb. It’s too bad we had such a terrible experience because the food/table service were really great. If you come here, be sure to confirm your reservation a couple of times and avoid the manager at all costs.

This place is still working its kinks out, it’s clearly brand new in a relatively new establishment. When we came the place had been open less than a week. Every single place in the entire hotel had a 2 hour wait when we came on NYE weekend. We decided to putz around a little and we ended up in here seeing as they didn’t seem to be too packed. Since it’s clearly a fancy high end place in a sea of less expensive, more low key places, it was much emptier and didn’t have any wait for a table. We already were on a wait list for another place and honestly weren’t dressed for this place nor looking to spend $ 450 for a steak dinner with white linens and still vs. sparkling water. But the bar was packed and the hostess offered us a table to sit even though we made it very obvious we were only getting drinks. Okay, no problem. There must have been a slight disconnect between the hostess and the waitress(or they just have a required shpiel they have to say at every table) since we got full menus and the specials explained in way too much detail after we again said we were only having a round of drinks. Ok, no problem. Well it took a LONG time for those drinks to come seeing as the place wasn’t as busy as you would expect. After we were enjoying them we again got a pitch to order dinner. No thanks, we said this before. As we were finishing up our cocktails one person in our party got a message that our table we were waiting on was ready. So we waited for the check while they went to claim it, and again it seemed like people were dragging their feet. I wonder if it’s the high heels the wait staff are forced to wear-which is completely impractical in the restaurant business. I wonder how long that will last-the place is only a few weeks old. I would maybe come back here but it’s either an anniversary dinner place or a high roller place. There are a few kinks to work out still since there is still fresh paint on the wall.

They are new and definitely need to work out their kinks. We ordered several different items that needed to go back(and I hate doing that!) because they were undercooked. The crispy brussel sprouts were anything but. The french fries were soggy. The salmon that I asked to be done through was raw inside(they told me mine was mistakenly served to someone else). My husband’s lobster was ok in the middle but the claws were mushy. Seriously they need some help. For $ 10 valet charge(that’s with the $ 7 validation from the restaurant) it’s definitely not worth the trip. Good news is they gave us a free dessert(their variation of Baked Alaska). Bad news, it was terrible. The waiter was nice.

This is a new venture for jimmy buffet. It’s a great steak place. The best food, great service… sit at the bar with William the bartender… he is a pleasure. Food is amazing. I suggest staying at the hotel. You don’t have to leave campus… It’s brand new. Only open for 4 days.
