Orthopedic Associates of South Browar PA

I went to the Pembroke Pines office and I waited over 2 hours to see a doctor. When I asked a older male ma as to how much longer was the wait going to be? He responded as if I was a child, rude and belligerent. Office manager was a people person and was multitasking like crazy. They overbooked themselves and for my appt, that I made several weeks ago, it was crazy. Of course since I complained, after that the male ma (who was taking patients back) refused to take me and asked another ma (who was working her butt off to give everyone in waiting room updates) to do it. Now, I understand that Dr Steinlauf is the best in his field because I was recommended to him, therefore I stayed. As a person who has psoriatic arthritis, it was difficult and painful to stay seated or standing for long periods. As a new patient to this office located in Pembroke Pines, I was very disappointed to have been treated as rudely as I was for just asking a curious question. As hard as it is to go to new doctors and give them your personal info and embarrassing questions are answered, the ma’s should be more patient with their patients because they are the first impression for that Doctor. Once i finally met Dr Steinlauf, he is extremely professional and was very apologetic. Hence the four star rating. I did not comment to him about the rude male MA because I was too tired by then. What happened to treating your patients with dignity and respect?
