Great experience here… Room was nice, cozy and clean! Right on the beach and they even provide chairs and umbrellas at no additional charge. Easy check in and check out and also free parking.

Very friendly staff who make you feel very welcomed, great new renovated rooms, right on the boardwalk we are able to step out and we are right on the beach. We’ve stayed twice now and would come back again. Would recommend to a friend

Lady at the front desk was so rude when I enquired about the parking. I will definately not recommend this hotel to any of my visiting Canadian friends… actually to any of my visiting friends. Doesnt cost anything to be polite, friendly and professional!!!

Stayed here mostly for the location. Right on the Broadwalk. The hotel is still under renovation. The girl at the front desk was pleasant, but not really good at her job. A woman named Brenda was horrible. She introduced herself as the manager, but I doubt she is. Very rude. I won’t stay there again as long as she’s employed there. The view from the ocean front rooms was beautiful. The bathroom is old, not real clean, no stopper for the tub and very little hot water in the shower. The room was dirty. Lots of sand on the floor. This hotel reminds me of a spring break type hotel.

The place was under renovation when we were there, but it was still okay. I would for sure return. We «splurged» ($ 80) for the ocean front room and I’m glad we did. This place is no more than 100 yards from the water, less than 10 feet from the beach.
It’s not the Ritz, the shower wasn’t great and the décor was totally worn down, but if you are looking to stay some place clean and cheap and literally on the ocean, you really can’t beat the Sheldon.
