Golden China is right down the street from where I live and I absolutely love it. The owners used to be my neighbors and they are seriously just the sweetest people. I love the taste of their general tsaos chicken with the sauce they make. I highly recommend it!

Way underrated business. It is true that the restaurant itself could be cleaner. But you don’t go here to eat in, you go here for some of the best Chinese takeout you will ever eat.

Disgusting. I should have checked Unilocal reviews before ordering. We ordered delivery and despite several calls to find out what was going on, it took double the time they promised for our food to be delivered. When it finally arrived, an entire entrée was missing from the order and when they finally delivered the missing part another 45 minutes later, our wait time for everything had been more than 2 hours. Never mind the driver must have juggled the last entrée because sauce had leaked all over the inside of the bag. They shorted us rice, didn’t seem to care when we called to complain and were overly familiar — my husband doesn’t go by Bob and deciding to call him that on your own isn’t cool, lady answering the phone.
Then to top it all off, most of the food wasn’t even worth the hassle. Never again. Save yourself the hassle for mediocre to bad food from a place with crappy attitudes and customer service.

I live within walking distance and drive 10 min to get decent Chinese. The inside is a dump. It is like a daycare inside with children’s toys by the door and kids playing in the dinning room. While the younger staff members are warm and inviting some of the older staff are very harsh and rude. On the food their batters are tasteless and falls apart. Their rice is some of the worst I have ever eaten it tastes like dog food. There is better in holyoke and much better in Northampton if you don’t mind a short drive.

I was unable to substitute a lesser value item in my combination. OK that’s not soo bad but my food was cold when I got home two miles away. The lady at the counter was talking with a friend in a otherwise empty resturant. My food finally came out when another customer came in for his order, Cold food and neglect= pass on this place.

Rice lacks everything really, there is none of the ingredients that a true fried rice would have. Meat used is poor quality, it is tough and loaded with fat and other unknown chewy bits. The restaurant itself is dirty and outdated, and looks like a daycare in the dining room with all the toys piled up for the owners child. Not a fan.
