Homewood Drive In Cleaners

We’ve been coming here for awhile now and the kind customer service keeps us coming back. I find the prices are affordable for the quality of the care. I also value supporting a local small business. I try to drop off my items with plenty of time to spare, but if I’m in a rush they are always accommodating and will prioritize my cleaning for me! Thanks!

Waited to review this cleaners until I tried the one down the street. Now I have and I appreciate this one all that much more. Clothes r always ready on time. They r professional and know how to clean clothes. Clothes always come out looking close to new. Need any special service or have special issues just ask and they deliver or will have a recommendation for u.

Like the previous review, the counter help was anything but helpful. Rude is what she was. I went with my mother to drop off two rugs, which they will send out (learned from a call to them). One rug is pretty badly soiled from dog urine (small dog) and the room working the counter wanted us to take the rug back out; she really did not want to be bothered with it. I told her that I had previously called about the rug, when she was being rude to my mother, and told that they would send it out anyway, what was the problem. «Oh no problem. It will be 2 – 3 weeks» yes, that is also what I was told when I called. Geez! With customer facing help like that, they won’t stay in business, no matter how long they have been around!

I’d give zero stars if possible. I’ve used Homewood Drive in Cleaners on occasion, never really thrilled with the service, but this weekend was the final straw. My boyfriend and I had a black tie event to attend. We were pressed for time and he needed his shirt steamed. We popped in to Homewood Drive in Cleaners around 2:00 PM on Saturday to see if we could get the shirt pressed. The girl working behind the counter was too busy flirting with her boyfriend and playing with her cell phone to acknowledge customers. When we finally got her attention she acted disgusted that she had to do her job. She asked when we’d like to pick up the shirt, we asked if we could wait and just get the shirt pressed real quick. She said «Same day service needs to be in at 10:30 AM.» I said «We don’t need the shirt dry cleaned, just pressed.» She said «Rules are rules,» and refused to press the shirt.
I will never, ever take my dry cleaning to Homewood Drive in Cleaners ever again and I will be sure to let my friends in the area know about my experience.
