Good tuna and avocado bowl. Kinda overpriced? Not much atmosphere in the dining area.

Staff is very nice. Restaurant is clean and food is fresh. It’s the best Ahi Poke for the price in Waikiki. I highly recommend it

Was extremely please with their Ahi bowls! We had the regular Ahi Bowl and Spicy Ahi bowl. Both came with miso soup that tasted fresh as well. We would definitely recommend stopping to eat there if you want a good ahi bowl!

Awesome dinner at Ahi Bowl and Plate! I had the Spicy Tuna Avocado Bowl and Jose had the Teriyaki Chicken Bowl with Avocado. They were BOTH outstanding! This is just a little tiny place — but it was fantastic! Very fresh and very yummy! We have eaten in many places in Oahu and in Waikiki — and this little place is awesome! The food here is terrific! The ladies are very kind and will help you if you are confused at all with the menu. We love sushi — and I have had spicy tuna lots of places — this is BYFARTHEBEST I HAVEEVERHAD! Thank you!!!

Bland. The soup was blah. Nothing special. I got teriyaki chicken bowl. Very bland. The food at least was hot and tasted fresh. I won’t be back.

We were coming back from a great day of snorkeling and stumbled upon this place. It’s a tiny spot that may be easy to miss. I ordered the unagi bowl and it came with miso soup. It’s pretty good and healthy, however, it may be a little on the pricey end. I also ordered the Poke and it was also very tasty.

A little note to this review, we are born and raised in hawaii and know our fish/sushi.We saw this restaurant and decided to give it a try. It’s a little hole in the wall place that had appealed to my husband and I. I ordered the spicy tuna bowl and my husband ordered the same but with unagi($ 27 – 28)for both. The lady at the cash register seemed to be bothered that we were ordering and was very short with us, and little irritated. They were out of hot green tea so we got one Arizona green tea can($ 2.77). The seating area was dirty and had too many foldable chairs surrounding the counter. After we sat down the workers went back to texting. Both of our tuna bowls had spoiled tasting/smelling rice. The spicy tuna tasted too mustardy and my husband’s unagi was small, without sauce and overall just badly prepared. We got a refund for our food so this review gets two-stars for that, and the fact that the miso soup was actually pretty tasty. Maybe sometime later we will give them a try again because they looked promising.

Solid 4 stars. The Ahi Poke and Spicy Tuna bowls are pretty good and decent price as far as Waikiki is concerned. It’s very much a hole in the wall place with not much going on for a «dining experience» but good luck also finding papaya fruit by itself around here(it shares the Ruffage Natural Foods store). Would come back again!

Spicy tuna avocado bowl is amazing!!! Also, tried curry chicken and ahi tuna bowl and I keep coming back for more! Fair priced and great portions, fast service and healthy. One of my favorite spots on Waikiki beach.

This place was our first place to eat when we first moved here. It’s a bit pricey and you have to wait a bit, but it’s pretty good when you wanna eat a little healthier. The poke bowls are good, but the rest looks pretty good too.

Me and my boyfriend randomly run into this place and decided to give it a go. We had the spicy tuna salad and the tuna salad. Both were extremely delicious and fresh! I have never eaten a salad so fast in my entire life. Customer service could have been more enthusiastic but it was still ok!

Poke here is ok but not fabulous. Tuna has a bit of fat so not melt in your mouth quality like Ono’s but still serviceable in a pinch.

Decent, but a bit pricey and lacks variety. You are better off getting a poké bowl from foodland.

Hmmm… I read so many good reviews, but there were pro and cons. I ordered an ahi bowl? Marinaded tuna and avocado were very fresh, seasoned well, and they were really good!!! Cons… Their rice. Kind of sad, they used long grain rice, the kind of rice they use at Chinese restaurants. When you say«bowI», «don» in Japanese, I automatically expect short grain sticky Japanese rice, especially in Hawaii, and that’s what’s supposed to be in my book. Miso soup was average good, but served in a 16oz foam drink cup. I have no complaints on it’s serving size, but i wonder how come they couldn’t find a soup bowl to serve soup in if they have a dignity as a food server for a better presentation? For the price of $ 12, they could have throw in a side salad.

This restaurant is one and the same as Ruffage Natural Food(different section of the same restaurant). It is simple restaurant(nothing fancy) but the food we tried is excellent. I ordered a delicious Ahi Avocado Salad! I love the salad dressing. I am usually light on dressing but I couldn’t stop tasting on its own as it was so good. I couldn’t quite make it out(a hint of thousand island + asian ginger) but it was light and delicious! the Ahi used is very fresh. The owner/manager is a Japanese lady(awesome person — see more later) who made sure that the tuna was freshly prepared(I also took an Ahi bowl back to our hotel room and she insisted on preparing it just before we left so it is as fresh as can be). I want to express my thanks to the owner/manager. I had forgotten my nice Sony camera in her shop while eating dinner(placed it on the floor). It had all my pictures from my 2+ week vacation. I am so thankful she found it and made sure to put it away safely. I was really worried I lost all the photos from my trip but was able to recover it the next day when I visited the shop again. Thank you again so much!

We found this on the last day of our trip just across the street from our hotel(Hilton). Our surf instructor recommended it as a lunch spot nearby. We grabbed two poke bowls before heading to the airport for the night flight. We were pleasantly surprised by the freshness and taste from this otherwise unassuming establishment. We regretted not finding this place sooner in our stay. The prices were very reasonable too.

Very fast, friendly, no nonsense kind of service from the woman who assembles the food. It’s a very hole in the wall joint where Morio’s sushi used to be in Waikiki. Haven’t been here in 10 months and it looks like prices have gone up since. I usually get the ahi tuna avocado salad. It used to be around $ 12, but now it’s almost $ 14 which might come to a shock to some considering the portions. I still like it though since the poke and veggies are fresh(and it’s so convenient). Do takeout because people don’t come here for the fluorescent ambiance.

This was a little hole in the wall that we stumbled on when walking one night down in Waikiki. Wow! They had some of the best spicy tuna I’ve ever had. Me and my husband got the ahi poke salad and the spicy tuna salad and my daughter got the chicken teriyaki bowl. You definitely go for the tuna dishes cause the chicken taste like a lean cuisine meal. The salads are super fresh and the avocado slices they top them with are yummy! Yeah, they serve miso in a cup and that’s kinda weird. The lady behind the counter was so sweet. Again, if you’re looking for quick, good, fresh tuna, hit this spot.

Hmmm kinda sucks. I wanted to love this place. On the way home from the gym. Convenient! The young girl working the counter wasn’t very nice. Told me they didn’t have masago(on the menu). She then asked what masago was… Pointed to it on the menu. Ordered a spicy ahi bowl with masago. Got home and 80% of the ahi was black! Really disappointing! What a shame. Miso was pretty good. Spicy sauce and masago good too. :/
