Knew the owner of the shop for years, his name is Lee Maxwell an is a super cool guy, his prices are legit and fare. Anyways yesterday I had to fix a tattoo I did in prison an Lee had his new apprentice who I came to find out was my friend and didn’t know he was working there lol. Anyways Chris is his name an I trust Lee and his word that if he had to fix it after he would, anyways Chris did a super good job on the outline, took him awhile cuz he didn’t wanna mess it up an get me nuts with him lol. Anyways it was around 3 an I had to leave an be out the door at 4:30 to drive to Kahuku. Chris is new and is still apprenticing so he’s still a little slower then the rest of the guys, Anyways another tattoo artist there named John who is very talented an was watching over Chris making sure Chris was doing things right an good witch he was ended up having to take over to get me out of there before 4:30pm Chris did an amazing job doing the lining over my prison work that had to be fixed! Anyways John jammed out the whole black an shading in 30 mins an I was out the door at 4:20, it came out super good compared to before an I appreciate they guys there and my friend ships with them! Good laughs yesterday an good times, just a lot of pain when John was jamming an not taking no longer then 2 sec breaks! Lol thank u guys

Super comfy, professional, clean atmosphere. Just what I’d hope for my very first tattoo!
Lee somehow already has a vision of what you want in his head. It really only took one description and some reference pictures. I was so nervous the day of but once I saw the design, all doubt dissipated. His work is quick, clean, precise. His customer service is accommodating, comfortable, and he’s just straight up awesome.
He just knows his shit! Besides the perfection that is Lee’s work, the other artists are friendly and fun. Awesome small space on the second floor above Raging Crab, in the Samsung Plaza on Koreamoku — er, Keeaumoku. Highly highly recommend!

La persona qie nos atendió fue muy amable y abierta… sin tener reservacion el mismo dia tuvimos niestros tatuajes. Cerca del mall mas conocido en honolulu. Sin duda volveria por un tatuaje a 3ste lugar. No hay mucho estacionamiento pero a final de xientas en rodo waikiki o honolulu es miy difícil encontrar estacionamiento. Yo si les doy 5 estrellas aun que el lugar 3s muy pequeño. Y pueden mejorar

I really appreciated the time that Karly spent with me to choose the perfect tattoo for me. Karly has excellent sketching skills which is important to me. I’d come back here in a heartbeat if I want another tattoo!

Best tattoo quality and designs out there on the island. I wish I could of gone here for all of my ink. The pieces are amazing, attention to detail, cleanliness and outstanding customer service.
I gotten referred to go here by a friend as I walk in the atmosphere and art work inside the shop is pretty cool. We get together discussing what I want done pretty soon within a week of scheduling everything out and piecing together what the final picture would be. The customization and drawings were on point. He (Lee) hand drew the piece right on my body. Talk about talent. Great place to either get touch ups or fresh ink. Would highly recommend.

Best tattoo shop there is, honestly. Couldn’t ask for better tattoos and all are from John so far. Amazing work and can even work upside down! Amazing at portraits, line designs, and pretty much anything goes. Whoever goes HAS TO GO TO JOHN. Very talented artist. Thank you

Came here wanting to get a new tattoo. My old artist closed Down her shop. After reviewing their site and reviews i knew this was the place for me. They thankfully took me in as a walk in right away and i was consulted with Steph. She knew the character i was wanting to get and right away i could tell she couldn’t wait to make it awesome!
After getting the sketches, made by Steph, transferred i was met by the artist/​owner Lee. He couldn’t have been any nicer! He admitted the style i wanted wasnt his forte and wasn’t too proud to ask for opinions from Steph. They talked about how to do my tattoo and threw ideas around throughout the entire process which comforted me because I knew what was gonna happen the whole time.
Though very painful, i was kept well distracted by hiliarious conversation going between the workers here. They didnt care that i didnt know them they just talked about what they seemed they would regardless. Which was nice because it made me feel less like a stranger. Every person was very laid back and open here.
I am SOOOOOO loving my new tatt and i can’t wait to be back here for more!!! It came out exactly how he said it would– a more temporary tattoo look. It gives it a cool dynamic to a traditional tatt. Thanks guys!!!

Cliff got us in on his day off, and did an amazing cover up. He was so professional! The place was clean, and welcoming!

Hands down some of the best artwork in Hawaii.
Lee Maxwell is my favorite artist in Hawaii, I currently live in Sacramento, but when I go back I’d go to him.
As for prices, its priced a little high, but it doesn’t bother me since the work shows for itself. Tattoos are for life, and as the saying goes «GOOD TATTOOS AREN’T CHEAP, CHEAP TATTOOS AREN’T GOOD!»

Super chill spot and comfortable. Getting a small sleeve done by Lee, very creative and attention to detail and fine line work. so in awe with his craft. I’m so glad I was referred to him! Parking was easy and they validate. Can’t wait to go back and finish up… and start the next one!

I was recommended to come here since my best friend’s cousin is one of the tattoo artists.
I came to Bespoke for my very first tattoo. Their shop is very small, it actually took me a while to find it since it’s kind of a hole in the wall.
Ryson did my tattoo and he made me feel really comfortable. He also gave me a good price for it.
The guys are great here and I highly recommend going to Bespoke for your tattoos!

So I came here not to get a tattoo but I came along with my friend. There are 2 Artists who work here. They seem pretty cool and great Tattooists from looking at their work and stuff. The shop is pretty small. They have a nice leather couch right in front of the rooms and right when you enter and it almost seems like a living room. Right when you step into the door through the entrance, they have like a mini library of books about tattoos and stuff. I spent most of the day looking at them and almost read all of the books on the library while waiting for my friend to get her tattoo completed. It took several hours but her tattoo came out spectacular. The shop is pretty easy to find and right along Keeaumoku right around where all of the beauty shops and restuarants are located directly right across from where Walmart/Sam’s Club is located. Overall, the shop seems pretty new and an eye catcher for anyone looking to get some quality custom ink done.

I was referred by a friend to Lee Maxwell for a coverup tattoo I wanted to get done. I was looking for a design that was meaningful, beautiful and unique. Undecided on the type of tattoo I wanted, I went to Bespoke with a lot of questions and a lot of different ideas. (Somewhat of a nightmare for artists, I believe.) Throughout the consultation, Lee listened and offered suggestions while being respectful and attentive to the tattoo I was hoping for. He was still consistent even in making sure we were both on the same page when he began drawing out the design.
It’s been about a month since I’ve gotten it, and I love my tattoo. Calling my own tattoo awesome is a little odd for me, but I will say that I receive compliments on it every day. Many people comment on the detail. A lot of people love the angle it’s at on my arm. The people who have tattoos as well are really impressed that it’s a cover-​up.
There is not one ounce of buyer’s remorse with this tattoo. I am completely satisfied with the art and the experience. I would recommend any of my friends to this shop with the knowledge that they will be taken care of and that their self-​expression is a priority.
There really isn’t much online about this new shop, but it’s definitely worth stopping by.
