So, I work in the older side of the Dole Office Building. Let me tell you how can you have a business and the chiller keeps braking. Is some one not doing there job? I wonder. The elevators are slow, but at least«knock on wood» they have not broken down yet.

I work at an office above the food court. It’s a relaxing atmosphere during lunch, sometimes it can get a bit noisy. But it’s a food court. They have subway here also a mini mart, spa for hair and nails and a Korean BBQ place which I STILL don’t know the name too! I wish they would open up more shops and food places just for variety sake. I’m always eating at subway which is healthy but getting repetitive :( I vote for a Starbucks or bubble tea/ice cream shop! And Taco Bell? Lol idk just more food places please!!! All in all, never knew the offices existed above the food court area til I worked in one lol.

The Dole Office Building is the largest business complex within the Dole Cannery complex, located just west of downtown Honolulu in Iwilei. For tenants, benefits include lots of parking in the huge nine-story parking structure across the street(and attached by a pedestrian bridge), a small food court on premise with Costco and other restaurants nearby, security(restricted access after hours), three elevators, and diligent maintenance. It’s home to over two dozen tenants, including the Hawaii International Film Festival, Kaiser Permanente, and Roberts Hawaii. When an elevator is out of service, things back up pretty quickly. And the periodic false alarm fire alerts are sadly comical. Finally, the food options in the building and area could be better(though the Costco $ 1.50 hot dog and drink deal is pretty compelling), but the complex is just barely within walking distance of Chinatown if you’re desperate. For the most part, for commercial tenants, the Dole Office Building seems a pretty solid choice. Close enough to downtown, without the downtown hassles.
