Express Cafe

This place opened up August 1, 2014, replacing Hermz BBQ. Located on the 4^th floor of the Queen Liliuokalani building, INSIDE Chris’s Snack Shop.
The food here is great! So far I’ve only had breakfast here, But everyday they have different dishes for this building to try! They post a weekly menu on every floor so that you know what they are serving this week. Awesome! The girl who runs the cash register, is super sweet, I’m not sure if it’s a family business, or not but the cook in the back works really well with her.
For breakfast the other day, I had the ham & egg croissant for $ 3.75. There’s ham, an over-​hard egg, and cheese in a really BIG croissant. It is totally worth the money. It made me full!
Today, I had the Fried rice, 1 egg, and portuguese sausage for $ 3.50, and that was also good! You can have your egg anyway you want, and you can also ask for spam, if you don’t want portuguese sausage. The fried rice is good, and the egg was cooked perfectly. (I asked for over-​hard, and I don’t like it if there’s even a little yolk in there).
For lunch, as I said, they have a different dish everyday. However, everyday they have a Steak Plate (house special) for $ 7.00. My co-​worker ordered it one day, and she said it was awesome! Cooked perfectly, and worth the $ 7. I am very glad they decided to come here, in place of Hermz BBQ.
