I wanted to do something unique as a gift for my 11 year old niece, so I went to the flip flop workshop store in the Hyatt. There are so many different ways to customize the shoes. I think I sat for a while trying to figure out what to make and style, but after a while, I did get the hang of it.
I think the pricing can get high if you pick to do a ton of decorations on it, but the lady that was there that day was helpful in making sure that I put the right things together without breaking the bank.
It was a fun activity to do on my own, and I would do it again.

The Fip Flop Workshop is located just off the main lobby. The little kiosk is staffed by pleasant helpful people who help you make a custom pair of quality flip flops. All sizes, all colors, for adults and kids. Best of all the kiosk has hundreds of pieces of flair so you can make yourself a unique bit of Waikiki. For less US$ 20 you can take home a personalized piece of Hawaii. Why blow $ 20 on imported junk when you can make it yourself in the US of A.
