Hair and Make Up By SL

I was so pleased with SL’s work! She was very detail oriented and knew exactly what to do when I requested a smokey eye & braided up do. Her contouring & airbrushing service was so amazing, I left looking flawless! I have had some bad experiences with hair and makeup but SL definitely knows how to achieve the perfect look. I am so glad I found her!

Using my ‘new’ husband’s acc. Sarah was awesome in day of. Really did well under pressure since things changed beyond what I foresaw. Everyone complemented my hair and makeup. Things didn’t fall apart and lasted thru my buzzed stated. Lol

First I want to say I know I’m a late for writing this review but SL is great! Since the day I tried reaching out to her, she got back to me right away. Although for some reason my email wasn’t working she managed to find me on fb. So definitely a plus for not giving up on potential clients. She met me at my location the day of my wedding. I choose to go with a different style than most brides on their wedding days but it came out great! We both had fun with it, and I loved how my pin up look turned out. My husband was in love with it :) She was a great person to talk during the time, very professional and friendly! I also got a little brides touch up bag which came in handy. I give her 5 stars! I would definitely ask her to do my hair and makeup again if I need to get all dolled up for something. Her prices are also a big plus! So anyone looking for an affordable hair and makeup stylist, great personality and very professional and proficient at what they do, call SL! Thanks again SL! Everyone loved my hair and makeup :)

This woman, SL, is amazing

SL came to my house to do my friend’s and my hair and make-​up for our Valentines Day double date. We called it our little «Make-​up Party.» It was SOOOO much fun! We drank wine, had appetizers and learned lots of new things. SL gave us little lessons and showed us how to use product that work best for our different types of hair and skin. I have very short, fine, straight hair and she got it to curl beautifully and even showed me how to do it on my own! It was a different technique than my friend who has long, thick hair. She showed us different make-​up products we could use and even knew the prices and places to buy these items. We both looked AMAZING and got so many compliments throughout the night (and beyond with the pictures we posted online). SL was such a pleasure to work with and we couldn’t have been happier and more comfortable with her services! I highly recommend having your own make-​up party. I booked SL to provide makeup and hair styling for my birthday party. I was extremely happy with the results, as she provided the exact look I was imagining. The makeup was amazing and lasted throughout the whole night in humid weather, and the updo she created on my hard to manage hair was beautiful. I received multiple positive comments on both. I have worked with many MUA/​hair stylists and SL was among the top in professionalism, friendliness, and quality. Thank you SL!!!
