this is my one stop shop for nails, waxing, eyebrow threading, and wanting a couple hours of pampering. I have been coming to this salon when it was located closer to longs! since new ownership a few months ago, has gone through major upgrades including new massage chairs, art, and nail spaces. very welcoming staff — they’re all very friendly, accommodating, and professional. don’t let this salon pass you by! I will continue coming here for years to come!

A wonderful, clean nail salon with a great staff. They are always very friendly and accommodating. The business is newly decorated and very clean and tidy compared to other salons I have been to. I totally recommend going to Hawaii Kai Nails!

This place is awesome! They have a huge selection of really nice colors; it was so hard to pick just one! Other nail salons in the area don’t have as nice of a selection. They were really sweet and took their time with my mani and pedi. I feel like nail technicians rush sometimes, but not here. They were very efficient, great massage and my nails look perfect! I felt really bad bc they were so amazing and I didn’t have any cash to tip. I promise I will be back with your well deserved tip! This is my new go-​to place to get my mani/​pedis.

Came in as a walk-​in today for a mani-​pedi and received great service in a spotless, friendly setting. Added bonus was the super-​relaxing hand/​arm and feet-​calf massage– better than any salon I’ve been to on the mainland. Whether you’re visiting like me, or live here, I highly recommend this nail salon.

I have terrible nails — they are very thin and have, historically, peeled, split, broken… you get the picture. Then my friend Nada recommended Tiffany and WOW. The place is calm and clean. Located in the shopping center where Safeway and Longs are located… so plenty of free parking. Tiffany is very attentive and knowledgeable. She makes sure that every little detail has been noticed and attended to. She obviously cares about the nails and about the experience of clients in her salon. (everyone else there seems happy too) I waited to review to be sure the first time wasn’t a fluke but now have had 3 manicures with her — she recoginzes me on the phone, she already knows just what I like and my nails are stronger and look great. I have received several compliments from my friends. SOOOO HAPPY to have found this great salon.

Really really frustrated about this. I’m sure some of the staff are better than others, but I’m headed to Sally’s beauty store straight from this salon to reduce my nails… Sadly I can do a better job.

This salon is located behind CVS (Longs) and across from Pizza hut, two doors before the former Blue water Grille in Hawaii Kai, Safeway shopping center.
I have been going there for a few months now. I highly recommend this salon for it’s cleanliness, customer care, convenience with free parking, and excellent professional pedicures and beautifully done nail fills. This place is tastefully decorated with real spa like calming atmosphere, and with comfortable state of the art massage chairs.
Tiffany the owner who does my pedicure is not only very friendly, and professionally talented but is so meticulous in keeping the place neat and clean.
Megan does my nails and she is very patient, taking so much care to get the nails perfect.
This is the best place ever.

Love their flexibility (walk-​in any time!), hospitality and professional service! Tiffany is one of the smartest lady I ever met and provides the whole service perfectly.
I’m having callouse treatment regularly and already huge improvement after a couple of weeks! Also, foot massage part of deluxe pedicure is terrific!
And all that, with a reasonable price!

Hawaii Kai Nail & Spa (formerly Hawaii Kai Nail Care) is awesome. I’ve been a customer for many years. Ownership recently changed and the salon has been beautifully upgraded with luxurious new spa pedicure lounge/​massage chairs, state-​of-​the-​art manicure stations and a peaceful spa-​like décor. All the technicians work very hard to provide excellent service. I’ve never been disappointed. I can’t live without my pedicure and manicure! I highly recommend Hawaii Kai Nail & Spa.
P. S. I was sad to see that somebody was disappointed about the gel nails… mine always last for weeks. I’m sure they would have fixed the problem for free. To leave a negative review without giving them a chance to rectify the problem isn’t fair:(

I love this place! The new owner has taken a drab salon and made it into something special. The massage chairs are the best in town. Almost as good as getting a massage. The staff is professional and do a terrific job on nails and waxing. The prices are very reasonable and being in a shopping center there is always lots of free parking. You will not be disappointed when you try them out.

I walked into this place on a Sunday afternoon, expecting them to be booked based on their reviews. The ladies were all busy, but fit me in within 10 minutes. They even apologized for the short wait! The woman next to me told me I was lucky to have stumbled upon this place, and boy was she right!
Megan was my technician and she was amazing. I showed her a photo of what I wanted and she was extremely meticulous to get it just right. I’ve never had someone take so much care when applying gel nails! She even made sure the undersides look good. I’ve already gotten a lot of random compliments and it hasn’t even been a day! For how well done they are (and the part of town they’re in), I was expecting to pay a lot but they are very reasonable. Definitely the best gel nails I’ve gotten. I would highly suggest this place!

I’ve been a client of several Oahu nail salons over the years. Hawaii Kai Nails & Spa is far and away the best!
So clean, orderly and professional. The talented, friendly technicians all wear matching embroidered aprons. And state-​of-​the-​art new equipment and furnishings have recently been installed.
All with very reasonable prices.

This is a hidden gem in Hawaii Kai. It’s located next to Longs and Safeway. FREE and convenient parking. The salon is very clean, sanitary, neat and the staff are super friendly and skilled. What amazes me is there is no chemical smell and it’s CLEAN, very critical bc not all nail salons are. The manager is very skilled and she makes sure that the salon is in tip top shape. My new favorite and ONLY place to get my nails done! Tiffany is awesome!

I have always liked this place but now I LOVE IT!!! Under new ownership, the salon has brand new massage/​pedicure chairs and a trendy new look that is tres chic!
I have had gel manicures, spa pedicures and waxing done over the past 10+ years and have always been supremely satisfied after each visit: it’s therapeutic!
Tiffany is the consummate professional: warm, personable, accommodating and wholly dedicated to excellence and customer service, and her wonderful staff reflect her commitment. Did I mention the prices are reasonable? Even if you don’t live in the Hawaii Kai area, Hawaii Kai Nail Salon and Spa is worth the trip!
