Not Vegan? It’s okay they don’t know that. They’ll serve you delicious vegan food anyway. One of my favorite is the fabulous phở. Great when you’re feeling a little under the weather. Those drumsticks… Tastes like chicken!

Although I am not a 100% vegan, I do enjoy vegetarian cuisine. Today i stopped in to just get a snack. I ordered the crispy roll. It’s like a spring roll just without any meat. The crispy rolls were fried perfectly. The flavor though was even better. You couldn’t even tell it was vegetarian. If all their food here is as good as the crispy roll, this will definitely be a stop for me when I’m in town. The workers are all so nice and very friendly. I felt like I knew them from before. In fact the owner thought she met me before but I told her this is my first time here. Very friendly lady. I know I will be back soon.

Never thought in a million years would I like vegan or vegetarian food but I guess my taste buds have changed(either that or I’m going through a phase). Don’t get me wrong, I love vegetables. That’s not the problem. But I don’t feel like it’s meal if there’s isn’t meat or some kind of protein. Lately I’ve been craving less meat and really have been enjoying vegetarian food. Seriously who am I? Anyway, with my new quest of eating vegan/vegetarian foods, I decided to try The Loving Hut after hearing about it through my friend(who is a pescatarean). I ordered the guru curry and chicken nuggets. Surprisingly the chicken nuggets were really good and tasted… well like chicken! I usually don’t like«fake» chicken but it’s nice to know that you can still enjoy the taste of meat without having to eat it. I also enjoyed the curry which btw, really huge! It had lots of carrots, potato and even taro in it. Served with a scoop of brown rice. Healthy and tasty! Definitely will be coming back here to try the other dishes.

We are regulars @ the Loving Hut ’ s in the states. So, we were expecting something sort if similar. The employees were VERY friendly! Its A Little small And the location is sort of difficult. The sweet and sour was pretty good, the brocoli dish my husband had was a little off… almost like a brown gravy on top instead of a sauce. All in all, pretty good just not what we’re used to. Which is not necessarily a bad thing :() I wish they had TEXASFRIES as an app like the locations in the states, they were my fave

I’m not one to choose vegetarian… but my hubby wanted to try it. Amazing!!! Food was fresh and delicious! Didn’t miss meat at all. The phở was very tasty, as were the summer rolls. I highly encourage you to try this cute little eatery! Yummers!

Delicious vegan and vegetarian food! I love everything on the menu. It’s all fresh and super healthy… Organic and non-gmo whenever possible! I eat here like 3 times a week! Also reasonable prices for healthy veg food! My favorite is the Kung Pow Wow and Brocco Pua. Yummmmmmm!

The food here is so good. My favorite, the thing I almost always order, is the Heavenly Salad. I like salads well enough, but don’t usually make them the centerpiece of my meal. Except when I come here. Love the Summer rolls, too. But everything I’ve had here is delicious. Parking in front is tight. Street parking is an option. Watch out for bicyclists on the new bike lanes.

Go to spot for me when I’m in town. Ono food with friendly service. Totally hooked on their sweet and sour hapa, guru curry, tofu scramble and Phở. I can never decide between them all when I’m here! Love it!

I’m a pescatarian and recently have become a townie. So why not check out all of the vegetarian/vegan spots nearby?! Today I stopped by at loving hut for lunch. Went ahead and ordered the 2 entrée plate. I asked for no onions so I waited about 5 minutes and my food was ready! I ordered the sweet and sour hapa and lemongrass tofu. It comes with a scoop of brown rice. It’s not too bad. I would come again and try something different. 2 very nice ladies were working at the counter. It was funny she took my order, I waited for my food, and we said our goodbyes. As soon as I got to my car I’m like wait. she didn’t ask me to pay. lolol so I went back and paid for my meal. We both had a good laugh. Photos are below! :) :)

Although I’m not vegetarian I really love this place. It’s clean and has a laid back feel. The 2 people at the cash register were friendly and answered all of my questions, I decided to stay and eat in and they were prompt in refilling the water and grabbing me a take out box. I tried the Guru Curry and darn it was so good I dug in without taking a pic. It had a little bit of spicyness but was very tasty. The portion of curry to brown rice was perfect and the size was very big. I had leftovers for dinner the next night. It looked interesting because I’ve never had taro in curry before and had to try it. I made an excellent choice it was really good! I’ve never been let down whenever I come here, consistently great vegetarian food!

I’m not a vegan nor a vegetarian but I do love the food. My favorite has got to be the lemongrass tofu. It was my first time trying lemongrass and I loved it especially with the tofu. The serving was generous with a big scoop of brown rice. Another time I came here I tried one of their lunch specials, moonlight tofu. I reminded me of mapo tofu, except without the meat. This was a very big serving, I couldn’t finish all of it in one sitting. I will definitely be back to this place for lunch, especially since it is conveniently located just a couple blocks from my work place. I would suggest calling in your order for take out and make sure to ask about their lunch specials as it is not on their regular take out menu!

Never had I ever eaten at this place until last night! Who would’ve thought that a vegan meal could be so delicious?! Definitely not me until I tried the Moonlight Tofu Special. Reminiscent of one of my favorite Chinese food dishes, mapo tofu, I couldn’t even tell that this dish was vegan until I thought about it a little bit. It simply was so yummy. Yumminess level: 100! Moonlight Tofu consists of organic tofu, shiitake mushroom, organic soy sauce, ginger, garlic, sesame oil, chili powder, soy protein, organic black bean paste, green onion, and black pepper, served with brown rice. For a carnivore like me, I was surprised that I liked the food so much and I definitely have to stop by again to try more. It was enough to put the idea of turning into a vegan into my mind. Service was fast, friendly, and very informative, even though the server was new. Parking was plentiful though I can imagine it spilling out onto the street with the ever so popular Baskin Robbins, Inaba Restaurant, musubi shop, and more close by.

I am a fool. Clearly. As only an absolute fool would wander into this haven of health and dare to order two sides of french fries for her kids. It’s a birthday – we were celebrating vegan style. Perhaps that was not the foolish part. The utterly asinine part was NOT asking how much money I would have to part with for french fries. As I saw another little boy eating a side of fries equivalent to maybe«almost a small» in any other restaurant I ASSumed they would not be pretentiously expensive. They were also not on the menu. It would have been nice, yes, for the waitress to have said something like«You realize your 2 small orders of fries are going to cost you the same amount of money as a triple combination lunch plate?» Alas, she is probably not trained to do so. I swallowed the $ 5.50 for two skinny spring rolls. It’s vegan, the supreme such-and-such blessed them through the flat screen on the wall, fine. But $ 5.50EACH for a teeny order of french fries? Holy shizballs captain. Holy shizballs. I assumed it was punishment for ordering non-nutritious fare as what is supposed to be a healthy restaurant. Though I prefer to refer to it as «meatless» not«healthy» as oil, sugar, salt, and deep-fried-ness are heavy players in this place. Decidedly delicious but probably not going to magically unclog your arteries. Unless you stick to the salad and soups. Which, have I mentioned, will cost you the same or less than two miniscule orders of french fries. Have I mentioned that? That it cost $ 11 for 2 itty bitty orders of crinkle cut french fries? It also cost $ 11 for my bowl of royal noodle soup. It also cost $ 11 something for the TRIPLE choice lunch combo of sweet and sour something, eggplant tofu, brown rice, AND curry. Apparently the ingredients and labor to create the triple choice lunch combo(or a royal noodle soup for that matter) is equivalent to the ingredients and effort involved in producing two puny servings of fries. Amazing considering the lunch combo took 25 minutes to prepare, so one would think it required more effort than the fries that took 3 minutes, but I’m no cook so what do I know. Should anyone be wondering, you can obtain fries(with seasoning no less) from the Asian vegan place on S. King for $ 3. You can also go to the other Pensacola store of this exact namesake and spend $ 6 but receive at least triple the amount of fries you will pay $ 5.50 for here. OR you can do the vegan thing at the diner downtown and get an entire basket of fries for $ 6. Just never ever EVER order french fries here. Or maybe even spring rolls. Unless you are rich and spendy, then by all means order away. Perhaps consider purchasing a whole 8 spring rolls! It will only cost you $ 22. Or you can get four eensy-weensy orders of fries for the same bargain price, your choice.

So I’m not vegan or vegetarian, not even by a long shot but I can appreciate a good meal whether it is meatless or meatfull(not even a word). So we just got through with a 5 day all juice cleanse in March and my body was feeling great. We’ve been trying to make healthier choices so I decided to try out Loving Hut on King Street. I’ve always seen it since we frequent other nearby eateries. My toddler and I went there for lunch and were promptly seated and offered a high chair. The aroma in there was enough to get me interested. It smelled like yummy spices, garlic and fresh herbs. Somehow I always envisioned a vegan place smelling like a granola bar that’s been stashed in someone’s armpit for two days. Hahaha!!! Sorry. But it smelled lovely in there. The two ladies working were so nice and attentive. They answered any questions I had about the dishes on the menu. I ordered the golden nuggets for my daughter and she absolutely loved them. They are mildly flavored and have a semi-chicken texture to them. They are golden brown with oats on the crust. The dipping sauce was tasty. And for myself, I followed Unilocal reviews and tried the Sweet and Sour Hapa. In the meat eating world, I’m a sucker for sweet and sour pork with peppers and pineapples so I thought I’d give this a try. It was so delicious!!! The tofu pieces were tender and the sauce was delicate and not too sweet. Brown rice was perfectly fluffy. We enjoyed it thoroughly and quickly decided that this was one of my new favorites. We liked it so much that we had dinner there that night too!

Small place but I take it most people take things to-go so it’s not really a problem. Parking is okay during lunch, though I’ve never been here for dinner(except takeout). Sweet and sour hapa: Pretty good! 4.5 stars. It’d be 5 but I personally am not huge on sweet and sour stuff to begin with. The sauce is good. I would get this often if I could. Golden nuggets: Both times I’ve ordered this was amazing. It is fresh and crispy. The texture really does seem like chicken!!! I am impressed. My parents were only so-so with this and they thought it was pricey, but they’re just negative nellies. Heavenly salad: My roommate and her sister LOVES this. They go pretty often for takeout and I always end up seeing this as a leftover in the fridge. I have yet to try it, though. Royal noodle soup: My roommate and her sister also adores this item. My friend that brought me here likes this. I tried a spoonful of the broth. Not bad! Vegetarian phở: My friend said she had this once and really liked it. However, she doesn’t really eat normal phở with the beef bone broth so I’m not sure if I trust her on this one.

What do I not like from here? Okay, maybe a few items aren’t all that exciting for me, but I have several go-to dishes that never let me down. I’ve turned many-a-carnivores onto this place. The only reason I’m giving 4-stars instead of 5, is because I’ve tried a few things on the menu that I was not thrilled about. They weren’t bad, just not things I would get again. Still, this is one of my favorite spots to go on a weekly basis. Recommendations: Golden Nuggets Always come fresh, crispy and hot, with a nice chicken-like texture. Seems a bit pricy for what you get, BUT I still always get them. Spring Rolls Crisp, and filled with all sorts of veggie vegan goodness! I love these. Only wish there was more in an order. Royal Noodle Soup Love this when I’m under the weather, but needing something hearty, healthy, and full of flavor. A friend I recommended this to, said it was a little sweet for her liking. That surprised me because that’s usually an issue for me. I notice it more now, but I still love it. Lemongrass Hawaiiana This lemongrass soy protein/mock chicken is amazing. This is one of the original favorite things that got me hooked to this Loving Hut. The brown rice, and tomato and cucumber slices it comes with on the side are raw, unseasoned, and underwhelming, and I usually force myself be a good boy and eat them. I would love for them to offer another side options, such as a small portion of their Heavenly Salad?! Or some grilled seasoned veggies would be amazing. Heavenly Salad Similar to a Vietnamese chicken salad(with tofu instead). Super healthy, and the dressing is very good. Great flavors, textures, and portion! Fantabulous Noodles Awesome, though sometimes I feel it needs a little more so I ask them to add vegan ham(soy protein) for some added flavor and heartiness. There are other great items here that I haven’t mentioned, so definitely branch out and try other things! Especially the Soba noodle special, that one is amazing. And one time when they did not have it, they actually still made it for us! Real service. Service is usually good, and very friendly, no complaints there. Parking can be a little tight, luckily there’s still street parking after the city added the bike lane.

Loving Hut is located on King Street next to Baskin Robbins across from Washington Middle School. There is some parking available in front or on King Street. WOW. Talk about a super healthy menu! There wasn’t a single thing on this menu that would make me feel guilty after eating it ;) The service was a bit slow, which was funny because this place is more on the smaller side. I waited patiently and finally had to go up to the register to order my food and ask for water. The Grub. [[ HEALTHYSTIRFRY $ 10.95 ]] This stir-fry came with brown rice, broccoli, peas, tofu, carrots, mushrooms, onions, soy sauce, and sesame seeds. Overall I thought the food was alright. I wouldn’t mind coming back here to try more things on the menu.

I’ve been here a few times and I love this stuff. Everything is very tasty and the service is great too(very friendly). I do enjoy tofu anyway so if I didn’t care for tofu, I’m not sure how I would like it or if it would be filling enough. I had the loving tofu, which I think was about $ 11 – 12 and an ample portion with brown rice. The sauce was a peanut based sauce and so super tasty! After my meal, I also felt good about myself and not weighted down like with other heavy meals yet I felt satisfied. The only thing I didn’t care for is the cardboard-like take out container. I guess it heated differently from other types of containers and the heat(and maybe oils) left weird marks on my wood dining table.
