The people here are very friendly! The temple is very small so prepare yourself (well your eyes really) for a lot of smoke from the incense. There are red paper for you to write your family’s last name, and you can make donations to the temple. After you’re done praying I suggest heading out to avoid the crowd and smoke.

I love this little temple on the 2nd floor off River St. Every time I have a visitor from the mainland, I always take them there for a slice of local Chinatown flavor. They always stare in wide eyed wonder. Some gasp as it takes their breath away. They realize they’re not in Kansas anymore.
