A. mazing!!! Fresh, flavorful, and not too tart lemonade. I am enjoying the mango lemonade as we speak. I love the reusable lid and straw. It is so practical.

Its hard to find something healthy amidst the hustle and bustle of downtown Honolulu. Enter Nalo Juice, a pop up juice stand in front of 24 Hour Fitness, Bishop. They offer a nice variety of cold-pressed juices. My favorite is Dean’s Greens. I like my veggie juice without any fruit, and these guys nailed it.

On the suggestion of a fellow Unilocaler(shoutout to Kyle H.), I decided to try Nalo Juice. I’ve seen the booth many times before when I’m walking to grab lunch during the week, but I never stopped to really check it out until now. It was another hot, humid day and I was walking around town to get lunch. I really wanted a watermelon drink — it sounded different(I’ve NEVER has watermelon juice either! It sounded more exotic than the typical OJ) and a great way to quench my thirst. Thys, I decided to get the Mokulua, which is made up of watermelon, lilikoi, orange, and coconut milk. I was a bit hesitant about the coconut milk because I was worried that I’d only taste coconut, but when I tasted it, I couldn’t taste the coconut at all. It is fresh juice and definitely refreshing. A bit on the tart side due to the lilikoi. I stay away from juice because they usually leave a really sticky texture after I drink it, but this juice didn’t. It has a clean finish. It is well mixed, but the flavor I could really taste was the lilikoi. The employees are very knowledgeable! They could tell I didn’t know what I wanted and were very helpful in helping me to decide. They told me facts about the different drinks. First drink they suggested was The Farm — it can help take the edge off of the sluggishness ppl face in the afternoon. Bellows(it included mango and watermelon, just to name a few ingredients) is really thick, almost like a smoothie. The only downside is that you pay a steep price for this refreshing amd tasty drink — it is $ 8 per bottle. Definitely for a day when you want a good for you, tasty, nonalcoholic drink and you wanna splurge.

I’ve been buying Nalo Juice for a while, so this review is a long time coming. First off, Kale(guy who usually mans the booth in front of 24 hr fitness) is very kind and approachable. Most times(at other places) I feel rushed or something is odd, where I can’t ask questions. Anyway, I always wondered about cleanses and he helped answer all my questions. He is very knowledgeable about the drinks too. Sometimes I get an «ummmm ???» When I ask what’s in a drink(at other places) I have tried pretty much everything on the menu. Lava Flow, their newest drink as of 9÷21÷15, is thee best they got IMHO. So I think I found my daily drink… For now(until they create another concoction) Oh last thing, their shave ice with the«juices» has got to be thee best shave ice I’ve ever tasted. Nothing like those artificial syrup covered ones. It’s so refreshing, so tasty, and healthy… What is not to like about it.

Love this stand in downtown! It’s located right on corner of busy Bishop Street and King Street and right in front of 24 Hr Fitness. I love their«Bellows» juice they have which has Mango, Watermelon and Coconut water. It was so yummy! I def want to come back and try one of their green juices! They also have cleanse options too.

I am so grateful to have these guys in downtown and at the Wednesday farmer’s market! Find Kale setup in front of the downtown 24 hr fitness! What a nice break from all the downtown eateries. Sometimes, you just need something simple, light, and delicious! Found out about them via a Frolic Hawaii article on a juice cleanse. They are unique in that the«dinner» juices are actually mineral nutrient rich broths! Their juice creations are concocted with nutrition in mind; so, you can rest assured that their juices are delicious and nutritious. I’ve tried 3 of their juices and enjoy each one. Their juices taste so pure, and I believe it’s the amount of work that goes into the sourcing of the produce and the nutritional consciousness that make Nalo Juice stand out. The juices come in beautiful glass bottles. You can return the glass bottles to them. It’s the best way to recycle!

I was off of work this morning and saw the stand in front of 24 hour Fitness on Bishop St. I had the Ko’olau Sunset, which contains, beets, watermelon, coconut water and lemongrass. The juice is great and the guy working the booth was very friendly and helpful. Try a juice from here if you’re in downtown.

After a weekend of over-indulging(I had Waiola’s TWICE in two days!), I needed to reset my routine come Monday morning. While scrolling through Instagram, I coincidentally came across a post for a Two for One Special at Nalo Juice Company. Nalo Juice Company had been on my radar for awhile, so I took it as a sign and made my way to their location in front of 24 Hour Fitness on King and Bishop. By the time I arrived at lunchtime, all but The Lighthouse had been sold out. Although I had had my eyes set on The Farm, I was not disappointed at all by The Lighthouse’s sweet, yet tart flavor! I was told that, while juices don’t usually sell out as quickly, the earlier the better. That’s a great excuse for me to switch my morning coffee runs into morning juice runs! At $ 8/bottle, it is within the range of most local cold-pressed juiceries. However, Nalo Juice Co. sets itself apart with their Glow Cleanse. The Glow Cleanse features both fresh juices and fresh broths. Their website has much more information on the Cleanse process and Frolic Hawaii has a great feature on it as well if you’re interested. With all the BBQs, nights out, and Waiola’s planned for the rest of this summer, I will definitely return to Nalo Juice Co. soon to help balance out all of that indulging!

Sipping on my coco wawa, I’m transported to a pristine sandy beach with crystal clear water. The phone rings and I’m jarringly awoken from my day dream to find myself back in a windowless office in downtown Honolulu. There are moments in life you wish that wouldn’t stop and one of those would be drinking a juice from Nalo Juice Co. I’ve done a juice cleanse before, but I can’t say that I liked any of the juices in that cleanse more than the juices I’ve had from Nalo. What sets Nalo apart from many competitors is that they offer nourishing vegetable broths to heat up and compliment the juices you’ll drink chilled. I’ve had three flavors in addition to their coconut water. The Bellows has a rich blend of mango, watermelon and coconut milk. It’s thicker than their normal juices because of the coconut milk and is definitely made for those mango lovers out there. It’s supposed to be a bumper crop this year so I look forward to having more of the Bellows throughout the summer. It’s my favorite so far. The Koolau has an earthy, yet refreshing blend of beets, apple, and lemongrass. You have to love beets to love this juice. The lemongrass adds a mellow aromatic to the aftertaste that you just don’t want to leave your mouth. The Pahonu is fruity blend of watermelon juice, strawberry, a touch of coconut and some ginger. I love the refreshing quality of watermelon juice. It’s pinky hue and and perky flavor make it easy to be loved by all. I look forward to checking out their other blends as I long to be whisked away to a beautiful beach or to the top of the Koolaus. Juices are $ 8 otherwise noted and cleanses start at $ 180(2 day) and go up to $ 1250(Month). Find them at the HFB Farmers Markets(Kailua, KCC, and Blaisdell) This location is located in the subterranean lobby of the Executive Centre near Hukilau. This spot is convenient for me because I pass them as this is where I park in downtown.
