This place is clean and good fast service. This was our first time here so we had to ask what certain maki had inside. The girl was patient and willing to explain to us. We got 2 spam musubis, chicken donburi, poke bento and superman maki. All of this plus a small drink was about $ 32. The drink selection is amazing! It’s one of those with a touchscreen and you can add flavors to your soda. Took us about 5 minutes to choose a drink… lol. Located in Ala Moana Shopping Center next to Jamba Juice where the old Sears used to be. Great location cause it’s in the mall. You can workout/walk/shop before or after your meal.

Very nice place. The menu has many many options, individual and combos. I was looking for Philadelphia rolls, but I was not that lucky :( It looks like a fast food sushi place, but the food is very good. I wasn’t expecting that much. I took the salmon combo and a can of Arizona green tea with ginseng and honey. Both wonderful. Ambient music, comfortable seats, not a great view(parking) but very illuminated. Lots of people coming but not crowded. I’m definitely coming back for another fresh lunch.

I love this place! Delicious sushi at reasonable prices at Ala Moana! Who would have thought?! Genki is always crowded and it seems that not many people have walked down fat enough to find this gem, but that’s fine to me! I especially love the Superman Roll! Scrumptious with the crunchy flakes on top! * Drool*

This was my first time at Ninja Sushi, and I’m impressed. There is a variety of sushi rolls, donburis, and sets. Besides taking out, if you want to eat there, you order your food at the counter and the workers will bring the food to you. The sushi was delicious as well!

I really enjoyed stopping in for lunch at this place! Very convenient location(Ewa Wing of Ala Moana), fast service, plenty of good menu options to choose from, and it never seems too crowded to find a seat if you plan on dining in. This sushi spot follows an ‘order-pay first then seat yourself’ type style way of ordering your food. When your order is ready, one of the staff will come by your table and deliver it to you. There is free complimentary water and cups located on the side next to the soda machine. This could just be my bad vision, but the menu they have behind the register was really hard to read– small print with backlit lights are not very customer friendly to the visually impaired waiting in line. They do however offer a menu on the counter you can look at too, I just wish they listed what ingredients each sushi has. So far, my favorite is their best selling Superman roll. I loved the sweet chili sauce with the crispy crunch of won ton chips. Their tako yaki is also super delish too. I wouldn’t mind trying out their other specialty rolls next time I stop in. All in all, not too shabby of a sushi place at ala moana to drop in for a quick bite or relax after a day of shopping.

I work at the mall and for the time being, meal options are limited in the Ewa Wing. Until Shirokiya and Foodland open up all we have is Nordstrom and Ninja. I gotta say, Ninja has more than delivered. I usually call my order in because my break is short and it’s always ready for me. Today was the exception. I called my order in(it was a junior set A, spam musubi, kappa maki, and daikon maki) easy right? I was told 10 minutes, I clock out and walk my happy ass down 10 minutes later and my food isn’t done. That’s fine, I have a couple more minutes. But it’s been 15+ minutes and I’m late for work. I go to the front to cancel my order, no problems but it’s ready literally at the same time the awesome lady is trying to process my return. She refused to let me pay AND gave me the food because it took so long. I wish I got your name, but I was a fan before and now I’m a loyalist. I’ll just wait longer between ordering and taking my break next time

I was pleasantly surprised when I entered since I’ve only been to their other locations which are more of a take out place. Sitting and having my order brought to my table was unexpected. Music is good, atmosphere is casual. I ordered the Lunch Benton, my go to when I need something quick. For me it’s about the rice, and this one was good.

Ninja Sushi Ala Moana just went under a huge renovation & the place looks amazing! It’s so clean, modern & I love the color scheme. The dangling lights are also very eye catching. You order at the counter & choose a comfy seat amongst the booths, bar seating or tables. The workers will then bring out your food. We had actual bowls! None of that plastic stuff here, unless you order takeout! I was super surprised that they had 2 beers on tap! I ordered the tempura don which came with 4 shrimp, since they ran out of the veggie tempura, which I was complete fine with! My friend ordered the spicy ah don which she was craving since she came back home to visit. The food was delicious & didn’t taste like regular takeout sushi places. We went around 11& we were the only ones in there. We enjoyed our meal & our usual catch up conversation. The music was perfect, it was catchy & we didn’t have to yell to hear each other. Ninja will be one of my quick dining options while I’m at ala moana!

Thank goodness for Ninja! When I’m in a bind and don’t have lunch at work, I always get the spring rolls and inari and I’m set to go! The place is clean and the staff is friendly. The only thing I can ask for is more vegan options :)

My boyfriend and I checked out Ninja Sushi back in January, when they first opened. I ended up ordering a side order of miso soup with the junior set B($ 5.75), which included 6 pieces of hosomaki(3 daikon and 3 cucumber) and a small side dish with teriyaki chicken and rice. Pros: + The service was really good. The staff was friendly and attentive. One of the guys was dancing along with the music and really looked like he was having a good time(plus points!) + Bathrooms are conveniently located right next door + Lots of tables with no wait to be seated! + Large menu, including lunch sets, noodles and mochi ice cream for dessert! + Junior Set B is a pretty good deal if you aren’t too hungry Cons: + Pretty expensive if you plan on ordering a bunch of different pieces of sushi + Miso soup was cold + The wasabi was very weak and had very little taste. I’m not sure if it was old or just a cheap brand, but it was pretty strange for a sushi restaurant… Long story short? Ninja Sushi is a pretty good alternative, especially if you don’t want to wait to be seated. I’d recommend coming here at least once to check them out. But would I come back? Probably not, unless I’m in a hurry. Genki Sushi and Kozo Sushi are both in walking distance and are of much better quality.

Ninja Sushi is located on the second level near the parking garage of Ala Moana Shopping Center. It’s one of the new restaurants in the Ewa Wing. They are between Jamba Juice and the public restrooms. I stepped foot into Ninja Sushi for the first time since I was craving for sushi. I was greeted by the employee right away. While looking over the menu… I seen a lot of items that I wanted to eat. All those small plates adds up to an expensive meal. I opted to get a ahi poke bento with different types of sushi and a fountain drink. After paying for my transaction I grabbed my cup and proceeded to the fountain machine. Ninja Sushi has one of those fancy Coke fountain dispensers where a person can choose which flavor of drinks they want. Pretty impressive fountain machine. With my cup of fountain drink done it was off to find a spot to sit down and wait for my meal. I opted to sit at the counter which faces the parking lot. There’s a glass divider between the counter and the seats in front of the counter. Wouldn’t want to cause any mess on the other restaurant customer. Besides the counter space for eating the restaurant also has tables and chairs for couples or groups of four. The establishment is very clean and they passed the Department of Health inspection. I received my ahi poke bento. The poke was a bit on the spicy side. There was the inside out California maki, inari sushi, ebi sushi, egg sushi, namasu, and ahi sushi. I enjoyed everything in the bento. I had to add a little shoyu sauce for the inside out California maki since I rarely eat avocados. I’ll come back to this sushi establishment knowing that it does not get really busy like the other sushi competitor in the mall. 40⁄200

We love ninja sushi and were really sad when the ward location closed. So we were happy to hear that a new location was coming to Ala Moana! We happened to be at the mall yesterday afternoon and decided to check it out for a snack! It’s a nice size place with a good amount of tables to eat-in. My husband was impressed that they had beers on tap as well as sake. We ordered a spicy tuna don($ 9.50) and Inari sushi(2pcs for $ 1.99). Our food came out the second we sat down at a table— super fast!!! And everything tasted delicious! The spicy tuna don was a good amount for the price! And I like that the spicy sauce is just on the top and not mixed in with the fish! My daughter loved the Inari sushi(she ended up eating most of it). The husband and I agreed that we’ll be back again soon to eat a full meal there instead of just a snack!

Brand new location in the Ewa wing of Ala Moana. The restaurant has a contemporary design with great bright lights, serving in a cafeteria style with sufficient dining room seating. The price ranges from $ 9 to $ 12 per roll or bento. They also offer ramen and udon. A good alternative to food court or Genki(since there’s no waiting). The quality of the sushi is okay, not the freshest, and I think they definitely need to work on the sushi rice. However, it’s a good value place.

Newly opened in the Ewa Wing expansion near Bloomingdale’s, they have a nice, bright open space with plenty of indoor seating. Not nearly as busy as Genki –yet. ;) Order at the counter –we had to ask what many of the rolls were because they didn’t have a description with the title, but the employee recited ingredients without seeming put out so I appreciated that. Aprox $ 50 lunch for a family of 4(included extras like pot stickers and specialty beverages). The food was delivered to the table very quickly and looked nicely assembled. The taste was on point though I did think that the fried shrimp tasted less than fresh –more like large batch fried earlier that day, it was missing the crisp crunch of fried-to-order, kwim. But we were happy with the overall meal and service and will definitely stop by again.

A simple and newly opened Ninja Sushi«Café». Pros: — It’s new! As a Unilocal Elite, need to try new places. — The décor looks very neat and nice. — Service is good when taking our orders. Actually, you kind of clean up yourself. Cons: — The sushi tastes the same as other Ninja Sushi. The taste of the food was okay. — Quality isn’t that amazing. — The amount is small for the price marked. — It’s expensive. It was an experience. I wouldn’t be back though.
