O’ My Buns

I am absolutely in LOVE with this place!
I went here with my cousin who wanted to get a snack at Tutti Frutti that’s when I saw the «Oh My Buns» sign.
The smell of the buns are enticing and oh so delicious. I just had to stop by and try them the aroma was calling my name. I tried one for myself and got a box full for my family half Coffee flavored and half Vanilla flavored.
My family loved them and it was gone quick. I have yet to take a trip back there again. Oh My Buns is a little twist on a bakery store.

This bun bakery spot is inside the Tutti Frutti location outside Walmart on Keeaumoku. These buns are meant to be breakfast/​brunch buns and come in a variety of different flavors.
We had an internet deal and they had no problem accepting them. The flavors that they had that day were vanilla and coffee. Coffee is definitely the better flavor of the two. Sometimes, they have different specialty flavors available too.
You won’t get many buns for $ 20 and it fills a long box full of buns. For that amount, you can feed a small office easily so it is a great alternative to purchasing local style dim sum in a box or malasadas.
Oh My Buns is very convenient if you are in the area parked for something else. Otherwise, if you are going there just for their buns, I recommend parking on the second floor of the Walmart complex or even park along the street on Makaloa.
One of those places you really want to try once to see if you enjoy them!

Oh my buns, indeed!
I seriously love that it is in the same space as Tutti Frutti yogurt, but that can also be dangerous! I walk in for one treat and walk out with buns and yogurt! Any way I will be happy, fat but happy :)
So far I have only went here once and tried two different types of buns, sprinkle and coffee cream. My fav by far is the sprinkle because it is lightly sweet and whimsical with its rainbow sprinkles. The center is soft and fluffy, almost melts in your mouth. This was not really what I was expecting when coming here. I thought these were going to be like an pan buns with filling in the middle. However, these are still a nice treat. The coffee bun was just okay. The bread topping was coffee flavor but you probably need a coffee to drink with this coffee bun. That would make it awesome!
My experience here was great. The girl was understanding that it was my first time. She explained what these are and the different flavors. She was also a good sport because I asked her to pick me two of her favs to try. If I can’t make up my mind I like to play a little Russian Roulette with my food: D when I just can’t choose! Boom! Spice it up Yeeps! Lol!

I have no idea how I’ve walked by this place so many times and have not tried one of these buns. I came here right after ordering my eye glasses at Walmart and I wanted one of those bubble drinks. (Tell me why the bubble drink took longer to make than it took for me to order my eyeglasse?) Anywho, it’s $ 1.29 for a mini vanilla bun but you can also order by the dozen, half, etc.
So, it turns out you can not use the ID card for the O’My Buns section so no discounts. Just saying. So, $ 1.29 later I walked away with a warmed vanilla bun. Holy, this was so good. It has this crumbly vanilla crust on top of this warm soft dough. I wish I ordered more but I’m glad I only ordered one because I would have hated to get more and not have them be warm and squishy. I also wish I could drink coffee because this bun would have been the absolutely perfect complement to it. Damn it, now I want another bun.
I wish the service was better but what can you do?

I tried the vanilla mini bun because the cashier told me that it just came out of the oven. I believe it was $ 1.50. It was quite fluffy, and was still warm. It tasted very goodl every bite just melts in your mouth. I would like to try the almond flavor next time. I hope it is as fresh as this was!

Best coffee bun I’ve ever had! My fave is the original, cream cheese and chocolate chips! The bad thing about this store is that they don’t open till 11am so no my buns for breakfast for me! :(

I got in on a Coupon. Spend 5 for $ 10. and honestly it was the best $ 5 I have ever spent.
A few flavors i got was Almond, Coffee, Chocolate chip buns and I enjoyed them all but my favorite ones would have to be the and Almond & coffee cream cheese filled one.
The bun is soft and spongy inside. It’s a nice light crispy outer shell.
I eat alot of cupcakes, cake donuts and never had these type of buns before. No words could describe these buns for it was my first time tasting them and i’m sold.
Right now, this is the only place that makes these and they are for sure worth stopping by if your shopping at Walmart in town.

I heard of this place before and I was excited to try their coffee bun. lucky thing it was featured on Hot Deals Hawaii. I bought 2: you can’t go wrong with d deal. $ 5.00 for $ 10.00 voucher. They have been open for 3mos and they are located inside d tutti frutti by Walmart.
We had d Almond & mini choc chip specialty bun. And since am a coffee lover gotta have the coffee bun. we also tried d vanilla bun.
The almond bun was my fave. It has chopped almond sprinkle on top, so there was that crunch on every bite, the inside was moist and lightly buttered or was it salted cream cheese. I couldn’t tell but it was soooo good. I liked it better than d choc chip which I thought was too sweet for my tastebud.
Anyway, the mini coffee bun and vanilla bun was cold unlike the first two specialty buns we had which were warm and fresh from d oven. so it was crispy and super moist inside. the two minis, though cold still taste good and moist. The flavor was embedded in the buns, there’s no need for cream chs or butter, flavorful bec. I could taste that coffee flavor in every bite.
They also have coffee crm chs and vanilla crm chs and of course the original. This place boast that their buns are made WITHOUT CAFFEINE — to my dismay… I almost had a heart attack but it wasn’t possible coz O’ My Buns have no trans fats and preservatives. Great customer service ^_​^
if you like melon pan, you gotta try this place {that’s what it reminded me of when I took that first bite of their mini buns.}
Before we left the place, I wanted to buy 1 more of that almond specialty bun, but they run out already and have to wait another 15 mins for it to cook. So, I opted to try another specialty bun — walnut… almost similar to the almond but it didn’t have that same crunch. It was still as good inside.
Definitely coming back!!! I wish d buns would always be warm n fresh from d oven ^_^
