One of the nicest hidden bars around! The bartenders Tiffany and Mindy are the best around! They have the greatest personalities and are so loving! I’ve gone to some good bars but the good food and the great hospitality can’t be beat here!

I’ve only been here once and I had a great time. It’s a nice, open space and the people are really friendly. The bar tenders are super cool(shout out to Mindy for making the best drinks a girl could have!!)

This place is so dope! This is the perfect hangout spot for my friends and I. We come here quite often so I guess I would consider myself a regular? lol their happy hour prices are definitely on point! The siracha balls are a big hit here and if you check in you get them for free! One of my favorite things to get here are the mushroom sliders. They are sooooo damn good. Everything from the food to the service is great here. The bartenders are really friendly too! Tiffany and Mindy are the coolest ever. I remember one time I came here, I ordered like 25 shots for all of my frat bros. Definitely gave them something to remember LOL. This is a dope bar to come and kick it.

Came here tonight for the first time, and I have to say, I love it! Not super crowded at this time of night(came in around 8:50, it’s 9:50 now). I tried the Osoyami Moscow Mule and the Cheesy Jalapeño Sliders, along with the fried Sriracha Balls. They were delish! The staff is friendly and accomodating, and I love the fact they’re close by to one of my work places. I want to try everything here someday, and I’ll definitely be back. Don’t let the outside looks fool you, this place is worth coming to!

Osoyami is becoming one of my go to bars. I love that they have a parking lot, a lot of seating so it’s good for groups, reasonably priced liquor, and the occasional live music(Smooth Remedy)! For food, Osoyami specializes in craft sliders. There are so many choices but one of my favorites is the mushroom. Happy hour from opening until 7pm and there is a slider and fries combo for $ 5! It is the perfect snack. The service is great as well. Free Sriracha balls with your Unilocal check in! Yay! PS: this review was written tipsy. Thoughts may not be totally coherent.

I’m a big fan of Osoyami, it is oh so yummy! We went during their happy hour, which means $ 3 drinks and $ 5 slider/fries combo! We checked-in and used the free sriracha check-in! The drinks came out fast, the food on the other hand, took about 30 minutes which is a little too long for my liking considering that all we ordered was one slider/fries combo and an order of three sriracha balls. However, they redeemed themselves by offering us free drinks which was a really nice gesture. The food itself was very delicious! The burger was cooked to a medium(I would have preferred medium rare, but they didn’t ask). It was tasty! We got the one with olive tapenade and feta cheese. The flavors blended together very nicely. I wasn’t a fan of the ramen noodles inside of the sriracha balls… Thought the texture was a bit strange. All in all, the food was good. Would I return? Maybe. I definitely wouldn’t mind trying the other sliders on the menu.

I recently went here with a close friend of mine to celebrate my birthday. What better way to celebrate than with some cheesy, greasy, fried bar food that seems to entail all of my favorites? Osoyami is basically across the street from Pint + Jigger, and they have their own small parking lot. There aren’t too many stalls available, but since my friend and I came before opening time(6 p.m.), we both got stalls in the lot. Osoyami shares the lot with some vision clinic/business, but I don’t think they’re open at night, so I’m sure you can park in those allotted stalls as well. Otherwise, you’ll be hunting for street parking. I wasn’t really sure what to expect from this bar and grill, but I had high hopes, based on the photos I saw and the decent reviews. I was pleasantly surprised – my friend and I were basically the only customers at Osoyami, except for one other group of four. There are a good amount of tables and booths in here, and we got our pick. There are smaller and bigger tables to suit your groups, and there are also dart boards. Restrooms are even located inside the restaurant(score, since I’m used to restrooms being outdoors in places like these). Since we were some of the only customers, we experienced great service and our food also came out really fast. Our server was really helpful — she let me redeem my Unilocal Check-in offer right away and got our waters. She also answered any questions we had about the menu and made recommendations. Though the music was loud, my friend and I had a really great experience here since it was basically empty. It turned out to be a much more relaxing than I expected! Osoyami is known for their delicious sliders – which we ultimately didn’t end up even ordering – but they have other pupus as well that are great for sharing. Here’s what we got: «Fried Cheesy Sriracha Balls»: During Happy Hour, you can get these bites for a discounted price … or, if you check in on Unilocal, you can actually get them for free! Of course, it’s not the full order — instead of five balls, you get three. What a great Unilocal check-in deal! But, I probably would have paid full price for these juicy, fried bits. They feature panko-crusted, cheesy ramen balls served with a side of house-made blue cheese sauce. I was nervous about the sriracha because I can’t handle super spicy foods. But, our server reassured me that these balls just had a slight kick to them and they weren’t really spicy. To my relief, she was right. Each bite contained the right amount of sriracha — I enjoyed the spice, but didn’t feel like my mouth was burning up. The ramen balls sported a soft interior and they were aptly coated in cheese. The exterior featured a crispy, golden brown shell that wasn’t overly crunchy, and the dipping sauce was amazing. I love blue cheese, and the dipping sauce was rich, chunky and savory with that blue cheese flavor. I highly recommend trying these — I would get them even if they weren’t free. «Fried Buffalo Chicken Balls»: This is what I ended up ordering for myself for dinner. Don’t get me wrong, the sliders sounded good, but I was craving something else that was fried after enjoying those deep-fried sriracha balls. These tasty morsels include panko-crusted, shredded chicken breast combined with Frank’s Red Hot sauce, cheddar and green onions. It’s served with a creamy, blue cheese dipping sauce. Our server warned me that these chicken balls had a strong buffalo taste, but I love buffalo chicken. She also told me that they weren’t too spicy, so I knew I would be able to handle it. I don’t regret my decision one bit. The fried chicken balls were tasty and the shredded chicken was really moist. The red hot sauce wasn’t too hot but provided the perfect amount of kick. The best part was immersing each deep-fried ball in that creamy, blue cheese sauce. «Furikake Panko-Crusted Chicken»: Since my friend has gluten allergies, she opted for this delicious chicken entrée. I had one of the pieces of chicken and boy was it good … I wouldn’t mind ordering it for myself one day! This meal features furikake and panko –crusted chicken strips served alongside fries and a side of the eatery’s sweet chili wasabi aioli sauce. I think this entrée came with three or four chicken strips, and my friend upgraded to garlic fries, which came tossed with roasted garlic-infused olive oil and parsley. It was a good move to upgrade to the garlic fries; I liked the crinkle fries immensely and they were nicely salted without an overwhelming garlic flavor. But my friend’s furikake panko-crusted chicken was amazing. The chicken was soft and tender on the inside, and the furikake seasoning in the crust provided adequate flavor. The crust was crunchy but not too hard and crispy. If you don’t feel like getting sliders, this is a good alternative.

My boyfriend found this place on Unilocal from reviews about their sliders(he’s a burger lover!) These sliders are SOGOOD. We got the Cheesy Jalapeño sliders and the Hot N Crispy sliders with pepperoni garlic fries… The name makes sense now! Haha The slider patties are 3oz so the way to go is to order 2 – 3 and share with other people so you can try as many flavored as possible.

Only been twice. Both during Happy Hour, both were great experiences. Friendly staff, tasty food. 1st time: Saturday night, arrived at opening, no one else but us for most of Happy Hour. Great 90’s r&b/hip hop jams. The Food Network, TNT, Discovery Channel, & Comedy Central on the 6 flatscreen teles. –Bruschetta(w/bacon) sliders. Great –Wild Mushroom(w/bacon) sliders. Amazing –Regular order Fried Cheesy Sriracha Balls. What’s not to like. Will get the Mini order next time as the full was twice the price & only came w/5 balls. –Parmesan Pepperoni Fries. OMG pizza fries –Lychee Cooler. Yum! –STP. Meh. 2nd time: Monday night, arrived a little after opening, only customers for Happy Hour. Great mid-to-late 2000’s indie rock/alternative jams. Same stations on the tele, including sports this time. Different staff, still very customer service oriented. Only unpleasant experience was that the refilled water tasted like chlorine/chemicals, yuck. But that’s ok, I just substituted it w/beer :D –Blue In The Face Slider & Fries. Amazing! Will try w/bacon next time. –Sundried Tomato Pesto Slider & Fries. Great –Mini Fried Cheesy Sriracha Balls. I will never not like these –Lychee Cooler. Still yum. –Deschutes Black Butte Porter. Yummy

I wish I came here sooner. The drink list is pretty decent, staff are friendly and provide great service, it’s spacious and clean… But the real reason– those sliders!!! Stopped by on a Friday evening around 8pm and was shocked at how many parking spots this place has. In a neighborhood with teeny tiny parking lots or none at all, this is a huge bonus. We got a stall right away. Sat at a booth and thought the ambience was nice. Very clean, freshly remodeled, fun 80’s music playing. Our server was prompt with everything, including refills. I ordered the Descuttes Fresh Squeezed IPA which is a great beer and on the menu in a good number of places but certainly not common. If you like hops, give it a try! Thanks to previous Unilocal reviews, we got the fried kim Chee and sliders. The fried kim Chee was a generous portion, but lots of empty batter shrapnel that we didn’t eat(healthy of us, yeah?). The pieces that did have the pickled cabbage were tasty… Like fried pickles. Hubby got Greek sliders, and I said I’d share bc I wasn’t too hungry. I wish I got my own order :(it was one of the best sliders I’ve had in a while. Juicy hot patty, yummy soft bun and salty Greek feta with olive tapenade. Salty but not overly so. I could have eaten more. Good size portion– just comes with the 2 sliders, no fries. Coming back with plans to try at least 3 more kinds of sliders…

Chill atmosphere with reasonably priced HH bar food and drinks. My favorite thing at Osoyami is the Fried Kimchi. It’s simple but extremely satisfying. I can’t understand why no one has come up with this as mainstream bar food sooner! The Fried Kimchi get soggy when cold so I suggest munching on this while it’s still hot and crispy, but chances are it will all be gone within minutes of being served. The sliders are not bad; I’ve tried a bunch of them, and though none of them are particularly blow your mind amazing unforgettable, they are quite filling. The only slider that I truly remember is the cheesy jalapeño one, but not in the best way. Plain bun. One jalapeño popper. On a dry slider patty. With nacho cheese sauce. Sadness ensues. Tried the Sriracha Balls on two separate occasions and I can safely say they’re really not my thing. It’s pureed mushy instant ramen, cheese and sriracha, all of which are the essential components of end-of-the-night rachet food, but conveniently deep fried in ball form and served with more cheese sauce. Didn’t do it for me. Standard drinks and cocktails. On one visit my group ordered Apple Crown shots, but we’re pretty sure we got Crown with apple pucker or something. Oh well, we still drank it. Service is okay. Parking is limited to about 12 stalls in the small lot in front. Get there early or be prepared to hunt for sparse available street parking.

This is a nice hidden/new place! Went here on a Monday night and it was very chill. There is a parking lot in the front of the bar, so it’s very convenient. We got there right when they opened(6pm) and we were the only ones there, which is great to me! Service was on it and very friendly. We ordered the Loco Moco Sliders, Bruschetta Sliders, and the Hollandaise Sliders. We also ordered the Pepperoni Fries and the Spicy Sriracha Cheese Balls. They were all yummy! I was so hungry that I forgot to take pictures… oops? The must try drink is the Pancake Shot(Butterscotch liquor, Jameson, and a orange juice back). It was very interesting that it tastes like breakfast in your mouth. If you like to play darts, they have a few dart boards for entertainment. There are also a few TVs to watch sports on. OH! and Live music at 9pm on Monday(not too sure for other days). The only issue I have is that they should open earlier than 6pm(Mon-Thurs). That would be awesome!

After failing at getting a reservation at another restaurant that my friends wanted to go to, I searched through Unilocal to find Osoyami Bar and Grill a block away. I’ve been wanting to try this place out, so it was the perfect opportunity to do so. Osoyami is located on Algaroba Street, which can be hard to find if you’re not familiar with the McCully area. This is probably why there wasn’t too many people there on a Friday night. We were able to get a table for six without any trouble and the restaurant wasn’t busy at all. Our waitress was very friendly and let us pick our own table. For starters, we decided to order the kimchi fries and fried kimchi. These were the best things that we ordered, way better than the sliders. The kimchi in the fries is caramelized, which makes it both tangy and sweet. The fries are crinkle cut and topped with nacho cheese and bits of kimchi. The fried kimchi was surprisingly delicious because of the dipping sauce that’s served with it. For sliders, we ordered the loco moco and wild mushroom. With sliders I don’t expect much because I know that the burgers are so small the meat will be cooked well done. Because of this expectation I wasn’t let down and the sliders were alright. I’d suggest coming during happy hour(before $ 7) because they have a special for sliders with fries. There’s also Tuesday specials, like tacos, margaritas and more.

What an awesome recent find in Mo’ili’ili! Osoyami is a newer joint so I didn’t expect it to be perfect when I stopped by here for their happy hour, but their food certainly makes up for it! First off, parking isn’t the greatest. They have a private lot but only several of them are designated for Osoyami; the rest are for the neighboring businesses. I got lucky with parking because I got there a little before it opened(6pm aka when happy hour starts). If you’re not so lucky, I’m assuming you might be able to find street parking in the neighborhood. The interior is a little dark so it’s perfect for the evening when you wanna catch up with friends after work! The décor is simple and casual with lots of booth seating and some spots at the bar. Unfortunately the service was on the slower side because you can tell they’re a bit understaffed since Osoyami just recently opened. However, our server(I believe he’s the owner as well!) was really friendly and was willing to offer suggestions. Overall, their happy hour menu had yummy and unique items for cheap! Be sure to try their FRIEDKIMCHEE and a variety of their SLIDERS(I had the BRUSCHETTA and it was delish!). I can’t wait to go back and hopefully by then they’ll have more staff and faster service :)

Head to Osoyami Bar and Grill for souped up sliders, deep fried kim chee, seasoned fries and beer. It’s a casual bar with tables along one wall that can be grouped together to accommodate a big group, otherwise there’s booth seating perfect for 4. Go for Happy Hour from 6 — 7 pm and you will be rewarded with a $ 5 slider and fries, and these sliders are big so if you’re a light eater that’s all you’ll need. And for $ 1 more you can add bacon or upgrade to garlic fries. They also have Taco Tuesdays, for tasty $ 2 ground beef tacos. Osoyami uses higher quality beef and the flavor comes through in their sliders and tacos. The burger buns are fresh and the perfect foundation for the burger and fun toppings. The Wild Mushroom has garlic butter mushrooms and goat cheese sauce. The Guacamole has house made guac and pepper jack cheese. The Blue In The Face has blue cheese sauce and beer braised onions. And definitely get the Fried Kim Chee, it’s fried batter happiness. Our server Robert was friendly and accomodating, he did a great job taking care of our party of 12. Some tips for when you come: dress coolly, it’s warm in here, and there is a parking lot or residential street parking. If you’re looking for a new place to pau hana, check them out.

Ohhhh Soooooo Yuuuummy. Fun bar bites. Chill environment. Occasional live entertainment. FOOD and DRANK A lighthearted menu. Tasty burgers and adventurous sides. The SHIRACHABALLS is a breaded ball of ramen, cheese, and shiracha yumminess. The KIMCHEEFRIES was pretty awesome sauce. It was similar to eating a mix of onion rings/pickles. The HOLLANDAISESIGNATURE slider was juicy and delectable. The LYCHEECOOLER was sweet and easy. The DESCHUTESBLACKBUTTEPORTER was like drinking creamy chocolate with hops of course. Sorry nothing on tap yet? HAPPYHOUR6−7pm. ENVIRONMENT Located in the McCully area on Algaroba street next to Camellia Buffet. Parking in front of the restaurant and street also. Dark, casual, chill seating. 1 large bar. Lots of televisions. Dart boards. SERVICE We had excellent service, yet we were the only ones there. Hopefully it will continue as it gets busier. The owner was friendly and very excited about the food and drink menus. CONCLUSION It’s a relaxed bar with unique, flavorful bites and decent drink selections. Definitely coming back to try more of the tasty menu and to kick back and relax.

Osoyami is the epitome of a great local business. GREAT food, great service, decent prices — what more could you want? It’s safe to say my boyfriend Jake and I are hooked. After our first visit, we couldn’t wait to go back the weekend after! The place is kind of hidden off the beaten path in McCully. If you know where Camellia’s is, you’ll find it just a little further down the road. We walked in, and the best way to describe the interior is a man-cave. Its dark, big TVs line the walls, and the bar is by far the centerpiece as it’s lit in neon blue. There are dark colored booths to match, along with high top tables and bar seating. Whether you’re into the man-cave vibe or not, the food will make you forget everything else. You know how sliders are usually sad little pieces of meat on an oversized bun — neglected and boring? Well don’t expect that from Osoyami. They specialize in sliders, and they are LOADED with flavor. They don’t skimp on anything. Our first visit was really over the top. The owner, Blane, really took care of us. He explained the menu, their signature drink(the Lychee Cooler), and that Osoyami was the new sister bar to Station Bar and Lounge on Kapiolani Blvd. He even brought us shots of the Lychee Cooler to try! I ordered the Blue in the Face sliders($ 7) during our first visit. You get two sliders per order and for this particular dish they slather on a house made blue cheese sauce that is *amazing.* During my second visit, I tried the Jalapeño sliders($ 9) they had listed on their specials wall. There’s a WHOLE jalapeño popper in there! Stuffed with CREAMCHEESE. I was dying in the best possible way. They also offer a good selection of sides including Fried Kimchi($ 5), Kimchi Fries($ 8), and — my favorite — the Cheesy Fried Sriracha Balls($ 5). You’ve got to try them — they come out piping hot and the Sriracha gives these cheesy treats just the right kick. Although I’m not a kimchi fan, my boyfriend swears by both kimchi sides. It took everything in him not to order both during our first visit. They don’t have any beers on tap yet, but their drink prices are pretty standard(if not a little on the cheaper side). You can get their Lychee Cooler for $ 5, a Long Island for $ 6, or bottled beers ranging from $ 5 — $ 7. I am all about Osoyami and am looking forward to MANY more meals here. For such a small menu, you’ll definitely have a hard time deciding what to eat because of all the appetizing choices. Not a bad problem to have! HAPPYHOUR: As Blane explained to us, it’s a «literal» happy hour from 6p — 7p. $ 3 Lychee Coolers and STPs. They’ve also got a great combo deal where it’s your choice of slider + fries for only $ 5. Even though we were there a little past 7p, he still let me cash in on the deal, and I was STILL stuffed. These sliders are that real, people. PARKING: There are a few stalls you can park in for free fronting the business, as they’re reserved for Osoyami customers. After a certain time all the stalls become up for grabs — so get there early! Street parking in the residential area is your only alternative option.

Thank you, Unilocal, for helping me find Osoyami! My gf Rachel and I were looking up places on Unilocal to have dinner, and stumbled upon this gem in the«Hot and New Businesses» section. We’ve never seen this listing before, but with 15 reviews with an average of 5 stars, we were IN. First off, this place can be a little difficult to find, especially if you don’t know what street Algaroba is, because I never heard of that street before that night. If you’re better at taking directions local style, just look for Camellia’s on McCully, and turn down that street, it’s ova dea, little bit more down da road. They have a few designated, free parking stalls, which is always a plus. We walked in, and realized that we were the only people in the joint, with the exception of the owner(I assume) working the bar and a few people at the bar(who I also assumed know the assumed owner). We grabbed a table and checked out the menu. Pretty good prices, if you ask me! $ 6 for two sliders, with the exception of their Hollandaise Signature sliders($ 8). They also have a special slider written on their chalkboard, which was, in this case, a Jalapeño Popper slider. Can you say, «YUM»? Prior to coming here, I eyed up the fried kimchi listed on their menu, but decided to get the Kimchi Fries instead. As far as sliders go, I ordered the Jalapeño Popper sliders, and Rachel ordered the«Blue In The Face» slider, which had beer braised onions, blue cheese, and house made blue cheese sauce. They gave Rachel the happy hour(6−7pm) special(one slider & fries for $ 5) even though we were there a little past 7… sweet! BRRRRAH. Food is hammahz. Never in my life did I think I would get full off of two sliders, but it happened. The sliders were juicy & tasty, and the kimchi fries were amazing. We actually made our second trip a week later, in which I ordered the Hollandaise Signature sliders, which were really, REALLY good. I also finally got to try the Fried Kimchi… WHEREHAVEYOUBEENALLMYLIFE??? WHYDID I OPTOUTMYFIRSTTRIP??? WHATISTHISCREATION??? BEST. SIDE. EVER. Please excuse me after that emotional explosion… Gotta calm down for a sec… Anyways, back to the review: Their pricing for drinks is also pretty affordable as well. Although they don’t have any beers on tap yet, they have a decent selection of bottled beer from $ 5 – 8, along with a full bar for around the same price. Their Lychee Cooler is their signature drink, and pretty good tasting, too! Not sure what kind of alcohol is in it, though… but tasty! In my two trips, I’ve gone with the Deschutes Brewery Fresh Squeezed IPA for $ 6. On both of our visits there, we were the only people in the place, which didn’t surprise us too much, because they haven’t had their grand opening yet — However, we got to meet and chat with the(again, assumed) owner, Blane, who is a super cool guy. He told us that they’re hoping to have their grand opening in a couple of weeks, so keep an eye out! Serving up memorable sliders and delicious sides, I’m hoping that Osoyami has a prosperous future ahead of them.
