It’s been about 3 weeks since I had an ombré done at the salon. After it was finished I completely loved it so I decided not to leave a bad review. I absolutely hate when my hair stylist are late. Usually always happens and it happened this time. I have naturally curly hair so it hides everything and I went to straighten my hair about two weeks ago and my hair is completely blotchy and the red is completely gone. It’s now a gross looking brown. If I would have known I was spending $ 150 for an ombré that lasted less than 3 weeks I would have passed. Besides my stylist being late, she was very nice and informative, that’s why I left 2 stars. Other than that I wasted a bunch of money and now I have to find someone to fix my hair.

During my last visit in Jul, in the middle of a cut the stylist had a regular customer walk in and then I was switched over to another stylist. Had a horrible attitude because I did appreciate being passed off and didn’t want to wait for her. Her 15mis was more like 45mins. She is ridiculous. #whoDoesThat?!? #unprofessional
Last and final visit in Aug, the best stylist I’ve found for my daughter quit and I didn’t get a courtesy call from he shop that my daughters stylist quit. AGAIN, unprofessional! I showed up for an appointment w/​o a stylist. I’m glad my daughter’s stylist quit because the management at the salon is running a circus.
Don’t waste your money at the Paul Mitchell Salon. Hopefully the good stylist there find somewhere else to go like ours. Just because we live on base does not mean that poor management will be our only option.

I have been there twice and neither time have I been able to get a hair cut. The first time I called and asked if they took walk-​ins the lady on the phone said yes. I go there and they don’t take walk-​ins and the front counter lady said someone could cut my hair. 20 minutes later the lady could not cut my hair because had an appointment.
2^nd time I call and make an appointment. Get to my appointment and the store is closed for flooding. I didn’t even get a courtesy call. I won’t be going back there.

I booked my appointment a month in advance only to be called a day before asking if I could reschedule because my stylist doesn’t work weekends. I rebooked for a Monday, today, and just walked out because they never ended up booking me. The stylests aren’t bad if they’re desk staff can get their damn act together.

I had my hair done by Gina and she is AMAZING. If you’re looking to get your hair dyed she’s the best hands down. I’ve never been happier with my hair than when she did it!.She was extremely nice, positive and great customer service and even does a head massage when washing your hair!

Love, LOVE Gina!!! Went in today and she did such a wonderful job on my hair. I’m horrible about getting to the salon. In fact I usually cut my own hair. After years of donating my hair, my greys won out and got a partial highlight. She was great in explaining the color she wanted to use and after seeing it, was completely satisfied. The best part… the massage. Holy head massage!!! I almost asked her to marry me right there!!! She was amazing across the board, from understanding my needs to doing a beautiful job on my hair. Thank you Gina!!!

Wish my experience was better but it wasn’t. Horrible cut on myself and daughter. Eye brows were awful. Had to pluck more when I got home (what’s the point of paying for it to be done), was charged because the lady doing my eye brows I guess worked past her normal time… thanks for that. Just awful. Unless you know the stylists personally and request them… go somewhere else. Even on hickam there are personal stylists at home that do better than these guys.

On Hickam Air Force Base-​Had Bride and Mother-​of-​the-​Bride updo’s done for my daughter’s wedding. They were fantasic! We got so many compliments that day! And when our makeup artist backed out at the last minute, the girls got on the phone and found us an appt closeby to save the day!

I went in as a walk in and the manager Marian did my hair. She sat, listened, and then helped me pick a better cut and color. Her time she took was great, she wi now be my hair person as long as her and I live here!

I love the perm I got here! It was my first time ever getting one and I was very nervous about it but it came out just how I wanted it to! My hairstylist was also great she listened to what I wanted and did her best to accommodate me (she even pulled out big rods specifically for my perm). Only thing I didn’t like was that she put mousse in my hair after she cut it since I hate mousse with a passion but other than that everything was great. Even the prices were pretty good at $ 80 for the perm and $ 20 for a trim.
