The staff here seems friendly and service was fine, until the simple cup of hot tea I ordered was forgotten. After waiting, and watching everyone else get their more complicated drinks that were ordered after me, I started to wonder why the baristas were taking so long with a simple cup of hot tea. I mean how long does it take to pour hot water over a tea bag! They had forgotten about my order! My drink was never announced. They need further training on how to do their jobs.

After coming back from seeing many many different Starbucks around the world, this one comes as a disappointment to me because their lack of many items. Secret menu may not work too well here, but it’s still a nice little place to meet a friend and get some work done.
The pastries are in stock and plentiful, so if you’re looking for a good brownie, they got it! Nice selection of gift ideas as well. Just need to up that drink menu a little! :)

I totally love this place as always! The workers here are great! and I keep forgetting to write a review. I come here to have appointments, take a break with friends, and do other errands and etc.
Wifi is available. Internet not too strong but alright. The seating area is fine. Parking is available. Theres indoor air conditioning and outdoor as well. Bike parking is available. If you also have an electric car, theres parking available as well. 2 stories parking is avalaible to all. Its near between subway sumo ramen and also next to Jamba Juice.
Restroom is alright but overall its good. Place seems clean and really great to hang out and chill. Although it does get crowded sometimes because its in Kam Shopping Center. Lots of people in Kalihi area.
Near shopping stores, and other store locations for grocery shopping and other fast food chains.

They’re too serious. Employees look like they don’t enjoy their job on a Sunday in Kalihi. Not the Starbucks I know.

The coffee isn’t bad, although I usually have a chai latte or one of those foo-​foo coffee drinks or frappucinos. The main reason why I come here is to get cake pops for my daughter. She absolutely loves those things.

I love the baristas in the morning! So kind and sweet.
But I rated 3 stars because when I went to go do my homework in the afternoon. I asked the barista girl if she could fill up my hydroflask. She did not smile or even look at me. I saw her turn around and roll her eyes! Then when she started to fill my hydro she kept slamming everything. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE! Girl if you don’t like your job then quit duh! You don’t need to take it out on the customers… I wish I got her name. And this isn’t even the first time she did that.

Went in for a plain bagel and came out with a hockey puck. Don’t go in there when it’s busy, unless you want bad customer service and burnt food.

Good sized starbucks. Lots of people studying inside. Ok service. Can get very busy, with long lines. Nice to have this neighborhood Starbucks.

I live close by so I come here pretty frequent. I never expect them to remember my drink because they deal with so many customers daily, but I do expect them to at least get it right. The cashier who was a haole lady who didn’t even have a smile on her face helped me. Kind of happy that she helped me or else the older lady would have rung me up and she is another one that always has a salty face and looks mad when my drink is a little complicated.
Anyhow, the haole lady asked me if I wanted my drink layered or stirred. I told her layered. She said ok as she was writing on the cup. Well as soon as I get my order, it comes out stirred. This is probably the 4^th time that this lady has taken my order in the past 2 months and she always asked stirred or layered and each time I say layered it comes out stirred. =(this time I told the lady about the mistake. I told her «you asked me layered or stirred right?» And she says, «yes». Then asks to remake my drink. Uhh no thanks. She didn’t even seem apologetic for what happened. After this experience I don’t think I would recommend this location. I gave 2 stars even though it shouldn’t have been 1 star because the person who made the drink was sincerely apologetic and was very nice when offering to remake it.
This location has the potential to be great, only if they work on customer service & getting a drink right especially when it wasn’t even busy.

Best Starbucks ever! They make my drinks exactly how I want them. They’re never too watery, unlike the other Starbucks in my area. The workers are also extremely fast working & polite.

This is my weekend spot for Starbucks when I’m in need of a coffee fix. I live in the area so it’s only a few minutes drive. It’s the only Starbucks we have in Kalihi.
It can get busy at times but the line moves quickly and the baristas still manage to show customer service and keep the lines running smoothly. I haven’t had any bad experiences here and the ambiance is welcoming and the store is kept clean.
A lot of people use this place for studying, hanging out with friends, have meetings, etc. so the chairs can be filled up quick op during peak hours. There’s also chairs outside.
It’s a good location to get your coffee fix since its in the shopping center where you can walk around and shop at the different stores around thereafter.

Nice, clean and very busy but there’s this one Asian kid that has an attitude problem, if you don’t know what you want or alter a mix, he gives attitude — I suggest that management provides additional in service customer training and respect.

Open early for me to pick up some coffee before work and my sausage and cheese sandwich. Love all of their drinks.

I’ve been here a few times, and always had a good experience. I obviously love coffee, so that’s sort of a good awesome starter to any place.
Things I order a lot:
black coffee (small or short!)
Soy latte (venti)
Shots of espresso (double)
Water (I try to bring my own container for that)
This place is pretty quick, no issues there. Only problem is sometimes it gets a little crowded, and the last time I was there a woman was shouting distractingly (I don’t think she was «all there).
Fine place, parking can be tricky, but on a whole, good

Lines are long in the mornings, otherwise, we love this place! It’s fast and the workers are so kind =) I don’t know why but it feels like home when we enter, hahahaha: P

More than likely, if you come here in the morning you will stand in a long line. The good news is that the baristas are efficient and the line moves very quickly — so while the line may be 10 deep you’ll likely be out of there in 10 minutes.
We frequent this one in the morning as it’s right next to our house and right next to the freeway on our morning commute — plus it’s fast.
Baristas are always friendly and are often the same faces you always see in there. Go enough and they’ll recognize you.
Drinks are prepared quickly but accurately and always delivered with a smile. Even though they are busy they are still kind in the way they help you and answer questions you have.
Starbucks has mastered great customer service and however they are training their team members — it’s working!

When your around Kalihi area and wanting a Starbucks kam shopping center is where to go. Tons of parking and tons of other shops.
When you walk in its clean. I usually go to this Starbucks in the morning before work so line is always long, however it goes by quickly. Waiting for your drink also goes by quickly.

Quick and friendly service! Glad the line wasn’t long. Great music to listen too and not super strong with coffee smell. Clean and good areas to sit and enjoy your food of choice. Parking is crazy at Kam Shopping Center; but it all goes away with a nice drink in your hand!

I always watched in movies and thought it was cool when the coffee shop places would remember their regular customer’s orders. I figured it would be hard at the Kam Shopping Center’s location of Starbucks due to their big named company with lots regular customers. I was shocked when one of the random workers remembered one of my «complicated orders.»

This Starbucks is the best. You can make a quick Starbucks run and then shop, buy food, get groceries or do other errands without having to drive to another location. Also, there is a lot or parking. If the downstairs in packed, just drive upstairs and park on the empty corner closest to Starbucks and you just have to walk down stairs. I will continuously make my weekly (almost daily) Starbucks run at this location.
