Soo GOOD. Seriously. I never thought a sandwich could taste this good. Everything about it is perfect… from the sweet, soft, fluffy bun to the fresh and tasty meat veggies and the papaya seed dressing is so unique. They should open up more shops because they could put Subway out of business. I don’t think I’ll ever eat Subway again, as long as Stortos is around.

Don’t want to drive to Haleiwa for a great sub? No worries, Storto’s opened up in Downtown in the Davies Pacific Center. They are located on the Queen St side of the building next to Otto Cake. The location is small and there is no room to dine in. They have the counter where you order/pay(they accept cash or credit), a small fridge(juice, water and sodas), a chip station and a small seating area to wait for your order. It’s take out and it’s busy here so if you are limited on time for lunch, make sure to make a phone order. Basically you order, wait for them to call your name, pay for your order then enjoy. The subs have the same great taste as their Haleiwa location. You can make your own sub or select from their menu of subs. Everything is good and they are quite filling. I ordered the Rocky Point with all veggies, Papaya Seed Dressing and Jalapeño. It was delicious because the veggies were fresh and the bread was baked perfectly. This is my new favorite sub spot in Downtown. If you haven’t already, check them out.

Excellent sub! Very tasty bread, meat, and veggies. Service was great and prices are very reasonable based on the size of these subs(they are huge!). If you are downtown, this is a must-try.

Stortos has been a must stop sandwich shop for years when I’ve been on the North Shore. Last year I heard talk that a Stortos was opening downtown, similar to Otto Cake, but I saw no signs that it was true. Then last week, a noticeable sign caught my eye, and I knew it was true. The sign called to me, «Come closer.» Which I did and I had to see how close they were to opening, so much so that I was incredibly noticeable and staff brought me out a menu and said, we’ll be open on Monday. So Monday, opening day, I was there to get my favorite sandwich, the Pipeline. It was nice to see the North Shore owners there, it may me confident that this Stortos was the real deal. And it is! It’s s small space, and there’s a lunch rush, but they are pretty quick with filling orders. In addition, I noticed you can call in an order for pick up, so that’s a nice option. A half sandwich is the size of a footling and the price is right. Fresh ingredients and all the meats you could want! The staff and owner are wonderful, and fortunately or unfortunately, I’m already a regular. And most of my office, the ones who were unaware of the greatness of Stortos have made the pilgrimage to have a taste of what I’ve been raving about! They’re fans too! I’m stoked for Stortos and happy that I can have it even when I’m not on the North Shore.

I ordered 12 half sandwiches from Storto’s this morning and they were awesome! I called in my order around 8:30 for a meeting at 12:00. I went in the store and they were extremely crowded! Must mean they are good right? RIGHT! Best part, since I called in my order, I didn’t have to wait at all. The bread was soft and fluffy and the veggies were fresh! I felt like the sandwich had the perfect ratio of bread to meat to veggie. Everyone in the meeting said the sandwiches were tasty. Also the prices were great, I fed 12 people for under $ 100. I’m confident that I will be ordering from Storto’s again in the near future.

This is definitely just like the subs I remember eating in Haleiwa, but now I can have them for lunch at work because they just opened downtown this week! Location: They’re on the Queen St. side of the Davies Pacific Center, right next to Otto Cake. The space is small and has one small bench for waiting, but no tables or chairs, so it’s strictly take-out. Food: They’ve got all the same sandwiches that you can find at their Haleiwa location — the beach named 3-meat subs, build your own combo subs, and a small list of sides. You can buy any sandwich/sub as a half or whole, but there’s no discount on buying a whole. A whole is exactly double the price of a half.
