Subway

One of the workers seems to have no sense of customer service at all. She does not smile neither does she say thank you most of the time.
Anyways, their service is really fast. The lines can be intimidating during lunch hours but it goes by quickly. The quality of their sandwiches is like any other subway, but I noticed some will give less portions. It’s understandable but they shouldn’t make it too obvious with too little veggies or one strip of sauce.
There’s lots of tables inside and out. If you’re inside, it can get cold but if your outside, it can be too warm or windy. Lol.

When I stopped by yesterday, I ordered an oven roasted chicken 6″ sub on 9 grain wheat. Lite mayo, mustard, pepper jack cheese, veggies, vinegar, and pepper completed my sandwich. I was so hungry so it disappeared rather quickly. My food was decent. I liked everything except for the bread and chicken. It was a preformed patty with additives rather than pure chicken. Plus the wheat wasn’t 100% whole wheat like I prefer. I was famished so I settled for it.
This Subway is tucked away on the corner of the Iliahi building by the parking lot. What I like about it is that there are lots of seats. There are tables outside with umbrellas to help block the sun. I prefer inside because it’s air conditioned.
It’s interesting here with only a small customer order area and a small work space for the employees behind the counter. The rest of the place is not Subway related at all, but school related with computers and desks. On the menu there are subs, flat bread, salads, soup, cookies, chips, and drinks available for consumption.
The employees were fast, attentive, and had a positive attitude. I will definitely be back if I’m starving again.

Oh my goodness, I didnt know you could write a review for this subway! I’ll write one since I have time. When you go to kcc there are only Two places you can eat at. The café of subway. I used to come here all the time before that rude big girl started working at subway. I don’t like her attitude and I honestly feel like they should reevaluate how their customers are being treated.
It’s true what the other people have said she tries to rush people even when there’s no one in line and she’s obviously never had enough customer service because she will shout the word «WHAT!» at you.. you never do that to a customer in any situation. .
She is always mean towards girls but she’s super nice to guys.. Like really? Whenever I go there with my boyfriend I get super irritated because she’s super nice to him and when it’s my turn it’s like «what else do you want?» In a very rude manner.
I used to like coming her but she ruined it.. I only come here when I am starving.. And I avoid going layer on in the day cos she’s a closing shift manager..

Didn’t think about writing a review on this place but after today I just had to. I have come to this place three days in a row. Food is great and everything. However, the customer service sucks plain and simple. The girl in front of the line has been rude twice. Not sure what her problem is. With today’s economy there are plenty of people who would love to have her job. Anyway, when I changed my mind about my order, she turned to her co worker twice, rolled her eyes and laughed. Oh hell no. You don’t do that to a customer. I am looking straight at you girl, do you really think I can’t tell what you’re doing? I asked her does that upset you or something? And she was caught off guard, looked down and said no. I don’t understand all the sass from this chick. If she doesn’t like her job she needs to GTFO.

This is my prime location being that I am on campus 8 hours of the day. But this is not my location by choice.
The service here could be better. There is one girl working here that can use a serious attitude check. She rushes customers, doesn’t wait until they are completely done ordering until shes dumping them at the register. I know once or twice she got my veggies wrong and assumed that I wanted this and that. or when I said what I wanted, shed be like «WHAT?!», and thats before I even finish. so work on that home girl ^_​_​^
the one guy working the register is really nice and pleasant and always says have a nice day so I guess he’s counter acting her attitude.

My second ever review, will be about the place I eat at the most.
First thing I have to critique is what I notice first when I’m on the customer side of that sneeze guard. And that is the cleanliness. Its not the cleanest Subway I seen, but its not bad, it doesnt have as much grease, crumbs, and food particles as you’d expect. My manager is anal about it. They also wipe the glass down every so often and wipe the sandwich area after each wave of customers.
Next is the consistency of the sandwiches, they are pretty generous with vegetable portions and sauces, although sometimes you might have to ask for more. Though the meats are kind of scarce as opposed to sandwiches in regular restaurants, but that’s the owner’s set portions.
Lastly is the look and stability of the end product. Most of the time, due to the rushed lunch rush (yes rush times two) the sandwiches themselves look rushed. I can honestly say a lot of my sandwiches aren’t pretty, but if its theres no line and you don’t order a meatball with all vegis (I seriously hate that with a burning passion, but back to unbias) I can try to make it pretty and stable as humanly possible. Anyways, the sandwiches a lot of times can’t keep all the vegis in, tsk. Sometimes I just order 4 vegis and flat meat with no volume to it and it still had lettuce all over the place.
My favorites are Chipotle Chicken with Cheddar cheese, idc if its toasted or not. So if you’re ever on campus and wanna get away from the café, come by, but not while I’m working. :) (hahajk just no huge meats with all vegis)

Located at Iliahi in the student lounge. I only come here since the only dining options at kcc are this place and the cafeteria. No, they didn’t spit in my coffee, put a roach in my sandwich, or mess up my food, but the customer service here is rude and awful. The girl who made my sandwich laughed at me and told her coworker to laugh at me RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME, because I couldn’t hear her when she was mumbling «what sauce would you like?» I definitely do not need that before class. As for the food, my sandwich tasted fine, even with the big glob of mayo in the middle. Probably won’t come here anymore… there’s way more tables and chairs in the cafeteria anyway.
