Rating 3.5 Pros: Ample parking, loading zones, reasonable cost. Cons: No delivery service, small area – limited items, no return policy. I recently purchased a teak lounge chair for my room. Staff was friendly and knoweldgeable. Informed me about how to upkeep my teak chair. They have a convenient 48 hour hold policy. My chair was not returnable because of the pre-existing damage to the ceramic tile inset. Not sure if this extends to all items. I asked if the chair was 50% off becuase of the damage and they were upfront and said yes. Conc: May come back to purcahse more items.

Unfortunately, my husband and I went in to the store in response to a 50% going out of business sale post on craigslist but despite some of the negative feedback I’ve seen I must say that I had a FANTASTIC experience with them. When we walked in we were greeted right away by the owner and her sales person who after a bit of conversation let us look around un-bothered. My husband and I were specifically looking for refinished teak boat pieces(we had fallen in love with the style during a visit to Bali Moon in Northshore but they were WAY too expensive). We ended up purchasing a beautiful cabinet for easily half what it normally costs. I recommend that anyone who enjoys real wood and eclectic pieces hurry in to the store before they close and take advantage of their sale. Be advised that they don’t deliver so you will either have to contact a moving company(they provided some names) or do it yourself(we opted to borrow a truck from a friend).

I found myself in Trends Jodhpur quite by accident, en-route to another location. Passing by… a trio of glass lanterns was creatively displayed in the window. I enjoyed a great conversation with the the store manager, learning more than I imagined. Yes, I bought the lanterns among other beautiful items to grace my home. More than please with the excellent customer service and attention, I’ve sense returned for additional items.

Ok where do I start. My first visit here the owner didn’t greet me. Benefit of doubt I figured she was busy(although with what considering she was simply sitting at her computer) I proceeded to look around. After not really finding what I was looking for(nothing grabbed me) I started to exit. Miraculously she stopped me and attempted to make conversation. I told her I didn’t really see anything that jumped out at me. She then suggested I take a look at some photos of things that were on their way there from India. I did and spotted a table that was nearly $ 1000. I was told it would arrive in Sept. It arrived nearly 2 months later AND it was NOT what like the picture. She promised she could paint it and make it look like the picture and that it would be ready in a week. I called 1.5 weeks later she giggled and told me she hadn’t even started on it. I paused which may have told her I WASPISSED. She promised it would be ready the following week. It was BUTWASNOT as pretty as the picture. Some how she convinced me that it was the lighting in her place that made the table not exactly like the one on the pic. I gave her the remaining balance and took my table home. ITISNOTLIKE the table on saw in the picture and I am totally not happy. A waste of nearly $ 1000. I will NOT return nor will I recommend this place to anyone. It is unfortunate because when I returned to pick up my table I saw several items I didn’t see before that I considered purchasing but because of the horrible customer service(as my sister-in-law put it who accompanied me on my first trip there) I will not spend another penny in this place. Taking my business back to Chai Studios.

I’ve been looking for a storage unit for about two months now. I have been seeing some interesting pieces on Craigslist from Trends Jodhpur so I thought I’d have a look. Upon entering the store I smiled at the woman working there and she simply looked at me and looked away. No «Hello», no «May I help you», no smile, just totally turned away from me. Wow. I mean, seriously, the store was EMPTY, I am her only hope of a sale and she ignored me during my entire walk through the store. Although I did see two units that I was interested in, I refuse to buy from a place that has people who won’t acknowledge my presence. I just don’t understand this type of attitude. I won’t be stepping through those doors.
