The real McCoy when it comes to traditional Chinese medicine and acupuncture. Dr. Zhu Boyan was a professor and director at the Traditional Chinese Medical Research and Teaching Department of Medical College at Qingdao University in China. He also was an internal medicine doctor in China before he moved to Hawaii. My mom and I have been going to him since late 2010 and I trust him. I’ve been to many other traditional Chinese medicine practitioners, including a couple in San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Hong Kong and he is pretty much the only one I endorse and trust. The only drawback is his limited English, but he understood when I told him my symptoms and illness. Best if you speak mandarin but I’ve seen other non speaking Chinese customers come in and they seem to get by. But it won’t matter if you speak or don’t speak Chinese cause it seems he bases a lot of determining what you need by the feel of you pulse, looking at your tongue, color, and physical exam.
