Silverado

I am a local resident of Hood River and Love Silverado and have since I moved here full time in 2002. I am very active and wear minimal jewelry but the two pieces I do wear daily are from Silverado. what impresses me most about this business is not only do they have amazing beautiful products created by incredible artists most of them local but there has never been one time I have not walked into that store and not been made to feel welcomes and taken care of.
Recently I had a special Silver bracelet that I had purchase in Silverado many years ago with my daughters name and birth date engraved on it. Its very special to me. however over many years of wearing it daily it had become bent and disfigured and was constantly catching my clothing and eventually bending and breaking. I took it in accepting that most likely there was nothing that could be done to repair it and I’d have to get a new one and throw my sentimental bracelet into a box. But by chance the the artist who actually made the bracelet (Terry of Glacier Lily) was there in the store working. Terry totally didnt see the bracelet as a wash and she took it in, completely rebuilt, reshaped & reinforced it and then customized it to my small wrist and RE– engraved it where it was repaired. She did all of that and charged me a minimally. I was thrilled. Since then m NEW custom bracelet remains on my wrist in tact and never catches my clothing, wet suit or anything. and I love that the repair adds to the sentimental-​ness for me. Terry was amazing. Its that kind of thoughtful customer service care and customer service that brings me back to a business and I am loyal forever. The owner CHRISTINE is a constant pleasure to see and interact with when I pop in the shop and does an amazing presentation of the store & all the jewelry consistently. Lexi is another gal who works in the store and is always helpful and friendly. I will and still do continue to recommend and speak highly of SILVERADO for all these reasons from my personal experience as well as you will find amazing gorgeous tasteful simple jewelry there. anyways. that’s my two plus cents but I wanted to take the time to announce all this goodness publicly. Everything in there is magical! And the staff is excellent!!! The store is so wonderfully set up! They carry a wide range of jewelery in price and styles. There is truly something for everyone in there. It is my favorite place to buy friends & family gifts!

I have been shopping at the Silverado in Hood River for many years. My son buys all my gifts from this unique store. I never see my jewelry on other people.
The sales associates are extremely helpful and friendly.
I live in Portland and when I visit Hood River, I always go to Silverado. If you want to purchase an unusual gift for someone or for yourself, this is the place!
