We moved the area last April. Ever since than My family has been ordering broccoli rob white pizza with grilled chicken every Friday night ! We absolutely love it. wouldn’t go to any other place for pizza. Best pizza in town! Always fresh and hot and the crust is always perfect !

Drawn in by the flashy sign of #1 pizza in the Hudson valley, we decided we had to try it. We got two pies and wings for takeout. Pizza was pretty mediocre and disappointing. Wings were ok, but something I ate from their, either the pizza or wings got me sick. I will not be returning. Pizza at Tiramisu is 1,000 times better!

Not a bad place, but I find the staff unwelcoming and food mediocre. Prefer food at Gian Bruno(staff there is similar) and Tiramisu(very friendly staff).

Not really sure how old that sign is outside the establishment but it is most definitely NOT the best pizzeria in the Hudson Valley. That is actually laughable. Twice I’ve eaten from here and BOTH times I’ve gotten sick with severe stomach pains… and the second time was just from a plain slice of pizza. Do yourself(and your stomach) a favor and go somewhere else!

To all you idiots out there who say its not a brick oven. Stick your head in the oven and look at what the pizza sits on and tell me what you see ?? BRICKS !!! What did you expect to see a giant oven encased in bricks ??? All ovens are brick ovens.

First, it’s not brick oven pizza. They have a regular pizza oven. This is false advertising. It’ not even a fake brick oven like the guy in Put Valley. Second the pizza sucks it’s too doughy and undercooked. Third the service sucks, the staff pretends that they didnt see you come in or their personal cell phone call is more important than greeting you and taking your order. You can get decent pizza up here but this is not the place. I don’t know how they lasted this long.

Best pizza in our area hands down. For those going be aware that the place does not accept credit or debt so bring cash! Food is good, pizza is delish. If you have the chance to get a chicken Marsala slice be prepared to indulge in the most delish thing you’ve ever had. One slice is like an entire meal. While there maybe 3 pizza joints all within stones throw, Nicks is the best, it’s a Hopewell staple and has been there for years.

We have ordered the focaccia pizza and it was decent on each occaision. I really wish they would accept credit/debit card payments. Its a bit inconvenient to always have to remember to stop for cash.

I’m not sure what has happened but the sauce has changed in my opinion. The sauce has always been a bit too sweet but the last time I stopped there it was way too sweet. Has somebody changed the recipe? If so, please change it back.

Very good pizza. I had a lasagna slice and a tomato slice. Had never been there before today, but glad I gave this place a shot. I will definitely be returning in the future and look forward to trying other items on their extensive menu.

I was very excited to try this place. I love«brick oven» pizza so when I walked in I was disappointed to see a normal oven. I got a large pepperoni. It was ok overall. The crust was great. It was thin yet, not over cooked. The sauce was sweet, I’m not really a fan of sweet sauce. Then when I was done I went to pay and found out they only take cash or check. Fortunately my bank was in walking distance so I left and came back with cash. I will not be coming back. The best pizza I’ve had so far is Stormville Pizza and More.

In Hopewell for a business meeting and came upon this pizzeria. I have to say this was one of the best pizzas I have had in a long time. The sauce was excellent and so were the meat balls. I will definitely come back to this place.

ordered a pie and some garlic knots from here last night and neither were very good the garlic knots were actually cold on the inside and the pizza was under done and on the cold side. i ordered a half meatball half plain, the meatballs were the best part. oh yea and it is not brick oven pizza. I walked in and there are regular pizza ovens right behind the counter that they are pulling pizzas out of. I don’t think I will be going back there

Definitely the best pizza in the Hudson Valley. We love to go to Nick’s whenever we are in town. The place is small and quaint … unassuming. They pretty much always have delicious white slices available when we come rolling into town visiting family. Not a lot of places have white slices readily available. That is a huge deal for me because I can’t eat tomato sauces. The staff are great people too and extremely polite and professional. I asked my husband just now, «what should we say about Nick’s?» He said, «I like their pizza. They’ve got good pizza.» :) He grew up there in the Hudson Valley and introduced me to Nick’s and it is always our first option for pizza unless it is too late at night.

Attracted my attention when they won best pizza of the hudson valley– an award they deserve! Not only is the pizza amazing(I always get it well done, I like that crispy crust), but their salads and entrees are great as well! Nick and his staff are also super nice, always a warm welcome.

Great NYC style pizza joint. A little homey place but the food is very good. Served fresh & hot!

Very good, but sometimes inconsistent pizza. Most times, the crust is just right, crispy and slightly chewy with a good grainy flavor. Other times it’s rather weak as if the dough wasn’t allowed to rise properly. Always a nice, tangy sauce. Usually, the turnover is high enough that you will get a fresh slice if you order from the counter. The place is almost always busy. We sometimes eat dinner there because it’s quick, convenient, good, and inexpensive. The people who work there and Nick himself are friendly and are always glad to see you.

Nick is a legend in little ol’ HoJo. His pizzas have won awards, his restaurant is full of his family and friends, and he gives back to the community by hiring local high school kids, and sponsoring local teams. Great pizza. Period.
