Sad to see that one of the best local businesses had suffered such a tragic loss! Don’t know where we will go to get virtually anything now that the store has burnt to the ground!
Here’s hoping that the Tell family will be able to rebuild ! We will miss this store until then but are grateful that nobody was injured in the fire.

They’ve got it! And, their great staff will help you find it! The best «hometown» hardware store ever! Much rather go there than the big boxes, if applicable.

I have gone to this store 3 times so far and they ALWAYS have what I am looking for! Super extensive inventory of fasteners, bolts, etc… As well as almost everything you can imagine a hardware store has. Top notch service, I have never had to hunt around forever to find an associate or have a key made. If you live in the area around Hopewell, you need to check this place out! I cant believe how much merchandise they have managed to get into this seemingly small store. Great Experience!

I go to William Tell Hardware as much as I could, the people are always friendly and knowledgeable, they seem to have everything tucked somewhere and I prefer to support local small business over the large conglomerate monsters.
I manager a Medium sized high end auto dealer service department, it is important that your customers understand that they are the most important parts of your business, I believe they these people have it right!

Strangely, this place has everything! Every time I wander through the aisles as my husband looks for an item, I’m thinking, «They have this?! Really?! Good to know!» Any time we’ve asked a question about items, the workers have been happy to help. This is the first place we go when we need anything for the house… interior and exterior.

I must admit I do go to the big chain stores that supply home improvement items but nothing will ever replace a True Hardware Store such as William Tell True Value Hardware. The staff are extremely helpful and polite and know exactly where everything is. Those items you can not find at the big chain home supply can be found here the majority of the time and will be of a higher quality. If they don’t have what you are looking for they will point you in the right direction to get what you need to complete that project. William Tell Hardware one of the few old time hardware stores still around to meet all your hardware needs and a True Value.
