J & S Italian Villa Restaurant & Bar

J & S Italian Villa is one of my all time favorites! I have not ever been disappointed with their food, service or atmosphere. Definitely worth every penny and I would recommend to everyone that is wanting a nice, tasty, and enjoyable dinner!

By far the best Italian food I have ever had! I my is freshly prepared and it shows!

Not impressed at all, sea bass overpriced at 31 dollars plus a 2 dollar split plate change, green beans were not green at all brown and over cooked, milestone soup tasteless and cannoli to sweet and shell way to hard, we wouldn’t be back.

The atmosphere and ambiance is suitable to the restaurant. Food was decent as to be called Italian and by no means a disappointment. What was a let down for this place was the service. It took much longer than it should have to be seated for the slow Tuesday night I came in. The waiters were spraying an obnoxious and inappropriately scented Lysol disinfectant on tables that were just cleared. If you like to eat your dinner in what smells like a sterile aromatic wafting of a bathroom, this is a great place for a quiet dinner.

The BEST Italian food in Garland County and State!!! Melt in your mouth! You can taste the real creams and wines in the food!!! Has a nice patio and bar!

I called to place an order to pickup. I was put on hold, and then told it would be over an hour to place an order? No thanks!

Visiting from Dallas and the food here was ok… service was great but the food was very simple I was expecting more for our 90 $ check the waitress was very helpful helping us choose but the food was not very pleasant…

Fantastic service by Gladys. The owner came by and visited every table.
Their bruschetta is awesome. Get it, ’nuff said.
Had their snapper seafood special of the day. Tasted delicious. Snapper was moist, calamari was cooked right and not rubbery. Their marinara is great. Only thing I would have done differently to the dish was add some cheese to bind it up.
My wife had the Grimbaldi (I think that was what it was called). Moist chicken breast, sausage, peppers, mushrooms all blended with a white wine sauce. She loved it.
The portions were large and we walked away with food and the plate and full tummies.
The atmosphere was classy.

Better Italian Food than I expected from Hot Springs! Their garlic bread is outrageous and you can even order off menu and they will accommodate. I’ll come back.

Nice owners, pleasant atmosphere and good food. The bar is nice and they have live music on occassion too.

Like other reviewers have said, don’t be fooled by the location or semi-​cheesy exterior. We sat at the bar and had a great meal with live music playing in the background. The lobster ravioli was wonderful as was the ziti. I would definitely go back.

Don’t let the location fool you, this place is a fantastic Italian restaurant. The ambiance is romantic, service is great, and the food is delicious. The escargot appetizer was cooked perfectly, served in a white wine sauce. I also highly recommend the Pollo Rollatino for an entrée. 5 stars, definitely would recommend!

We had a large family dinner here last night (11 people). I have to say it was the best dinner we had in Hot Springs. The food was great. I would definitely eat here again. The ambiance is very relaxing. Black table cloths with candles and low lighting.
We started with the calamari and the bruschetta appetizers. Both were great. Probably the best bruschetta I’ve had ever. For dinner I had the capellini pescatore, my husband had the linguini sea scallops and my niece had the tortellini alla pana. All were excellent. My pasta was FULL of seafood. There was no shortage of meat in our dishes. The garlic bread was a good compliment to the meal.
The reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is due to:
1. Us needing to ask for bread every time we needed a refill or even initially
2. The length of time from when we finished our salads to when our meal was delivered was WAY too long. Around 30 minutes in between. With small kids that is a crazy amount of time to just sit.
I would definitely recommend and also return!!!

DELICIOUS food! Great date night location. The inside has great ambiance. Prices are a little high but the quality of the food is unbeatable. Service was outstanding.

Ate here last year on our annual trip to pick up campers at Ozark. What an extraordinary surprise. Authentic and delicious food with fantastic service. Don’t be deterred by the exterior strip mall appearance. The experience inside will not disappoint. Plan to return tonight!

Place is excellent. Don’t let the location or the outside deter you. GO IN! We had calamari, salad, garlic bread and mixed seafood with angel hair pasta. We also had house Pino Grigio. It was all excellent. The service and ambiance were also amazing.

My friend and I had dinner here during our spa weekend. The dinner was excellent. Live music was a great added touch. The garlic bread = perfection!

If you are looking for REALLY good dining in Hot Springs, this place is it! Don’t be confused by its new location — the restaurant inside and amazing food are just as great and gourmet as ever! Fresh beautiful flavors, absolutely delicious sauces (even the house salad dressing impressed me by innovative flavor combination «with a kick» — it was soooo good!), beautiful presentation, nice ambiance and very friendly attentive service. We celebrated my friend’s b-​day there last night — everyone commented oh how wonderful their dinner was. We had a number of appetizers — all delicious; and I had the salmon — fantastic!!! Overall, it was such a pleasant and satisfying experience. Will definitely be back when visiting Hot Springs.

Strengths:
Great dining area where you are not on top of each other. Great menu without the typical boring Italian offerings (Spaghetti and meatballs).
Opportunities:
Although bar area is separate from dining area, it is very loud.
Overall:
Very impressed. I would come here again.
