I was very impressed with the service here. I came in to take part in the special buy a pair get a 2^nd free. It really comes in handy for my 10 year old who never keeps up with these glasses. I got two pairs and an exam and paid $ 75
$ 30 was for the warranty. $ 20 was my co pay so I think that was a deal. I got two frames one priced $ 70 one $ 30. The people who work here were friendly and helpful. The office was clean and quiet. I got both frames finished the same day. It only took about two hours to cut the lenses and the text me to let me know they were ready to pick up. It was a great experience in all.

I was researching for eye care for new glasses located in a central area of Houston and I ran across ²⁰⁄₂₀ Express with a simple web search. It is minutes away from the Galleria and very easy to spot since it’s near the intersection of Voss and Westheimer. I scheduled an appointment with their staff and they were quite friendly over the phone.
As I entered the store, I was greeted by 2 different staff before I could even reach the front desk receptionist to announce my appointment. I was already impressed how friendly everyone was with me. Like typical «doctor’s office» waits, I expected to be there for quite some time before I was seen. So I attempted browse around their selection of frames and I must say ²⁰⁄₂₀ Express has a plethora of stock with so many different styles. I didn’t even have enough time to go through one row of glasses before tech was ready for me. There went that long wait theory!
The tech helped prep me before my examination and he was quite friendly. It’s been awhile since my last eye appointment but ²⁰⁄₂₀ Express obviously had the latest technology. Their devices and machines made my prep comfortable and timely. I was asking the tech several questions about the machines and he was quite knowledgeable and courteous. The eye prep was quick and before I knew it, Dr. Tran was ready for my examination.
Dr. Tran greeted me with a smile and she directed me into the examination room. The equipment had new tech as well but the room was very spacious. Dr. Tran was instantly warm and I felt comfortable asking her several questions regarding my vision and what options I could potentially explore. She was very professional and offered several alternatives. She didn’t push me or up sale me in any direction with my vision plans. Her knowledge over lasik procedures and optical lenses they provided really made me feel confident I made the right decision to come to ²⁰⁄₂₀ Express. I wasn’t quite sure what I wanted to do so I stuck with my plan to get glasses for the time being. The whole time I was inquiring about my vision options, Dr. Tran was performing my eye exam without missing any questions or comments. She was great!
Before I knew it, Dr. Tran was done and she was kind enough to walk me out to the rows of frames. The wide selections were ranging from designer frames to frames built to have wider faces like me. I tried on several different styles and Dr. Tran helped me pick out a set that felt comfortable and looked good to me. Before I knew it, some of the staff came over to us and helped evaluate if the frames were not too snug and they were so helpful with my decision. I finally picked my frames and they informed me it would take about a week to pick up.
When I was ready to pay for the glasses I was so surprised that a good looking frame like that was so affordable! I was expecting to at least spending a few hundred dollars at the minimum but the cost of the whole visit and frames took me by surprise how the service, the facilities and the frames could be that low in cost.
A week passes by and I get a follow up phone call from ²⁰⁄₂₀ however I was in a meeting so I couldn’t answer. They were so courteous to me they actually sent me a text to let me know my glasses were ready right after they called. Now that’s service! I went back and I was once again greeted by several people before I actually even tried on my new glasses. Dr. Tran came out to greet me as well and adjusted my frames for me personally. Then 4 other staff members came by and checked to see if the frames were fitted right with my face. They were all so friendly and nice. I plan to come back to ²⁰⁄₂₀ Express every year just for the people. It was a great experience.
