Pizza in bed with my loyal pups waiting for the democratic debate. Soft serve ice cream delivered by a thoughtful Alli’s staff member. The pizza was fresh, warm and baked as requested. I called and it was delivered in 15 minutes. I grew up with one pizza place/Valliants now closed long ago. This is a five star location with a courteous staff and«uptown» delivery. If they are not in your delivery zone MOVE!

Good prices, friendly staff and prime location but the ingredients on the pizzas don’t taste high quality at all. The pizza sauce tasted like ketchup and the cheese had a rubbery texture.

They have good pizza here, with interesting toppings, a good beer and drink selection, and their other options are also good. Try the mac and cheese, it’ll surprise you. The sodas are the Maine Root variety, which I appreciate. The service has improved over time, I think, and I would call it now inconsistently good. The place is very kid friendly, though. They have little chairs and tables for the little ones, and free soft serve.

This place is fantastic for families and groups looking to hold a meeting. On Friday night, they have a kid friendly movie playing. I recently reserved some tables and the kids tables for an event and everyone had a great time. I’ve always enjoyed their beer options. I love thin crust pizza so it’s always great to me and if you’re not up for pizza, their salads are great! Lots of greens and FRESH ingredients.

The food is great. Always extremely satisfied with the pizza. They serve alcohol and have many flat screens so a great place to grab a beer and a pie and watch the game. They have a soft serve ice cream machine, which is a plus for the kids. They also have a kids night with kid movies playing. The only down side is that the service is consistently bad. The waiters are friendly and nice, but just lost. We live within walking distance and really want to support the local businesses such as this and see it thrive, so we put up with the service issues. Would give it at least 4 stars if not five if it weren’t for the service issues.

I met a friend for lunch at Alli’s Pizzaria and their $ 10 lunch deal is a real value. You get an individual-sized pizza with two toppings, a nice garden salad and dressing, fountain drink and a soft serve ice cream for dessert(if you still have room, which we didn’t). The salad was fresh and appetizing and the thin crust pizza(I had double pepperoni) is generously sized. I loved the thin crust – you can tell it’s hand-formed before baking. The blueberry soda was awesome! I had my dog with me, but I couldn’t bring him inside so I tied him to the sign on the sidewalk outside by his leash, and Alli, the owner, got him a nice bowl of ice water while he waited. She also checked on us a little later to see how everything was – she’s super friendly. It is important to note that you order at the counter. My friend and I sat at the table for a few minutes before I remembered that. In all a very good meal for the price and a nice atmosphere. I will be back!

Just picked up two pizzas, just after lunch time mid-week. Very quiet, and yet they managed to burn the pizza. I was waiting outside with my dog, which I had mentioned and asked if they could bring the pizzas outside when they were ready, but after waiting for nearly 20mins I went in to see if there was a miscommunication. Apparently I reminded the chef there were still pizzas in the oven, because he checked them and took them out in a hurry. The top was definitely toasty when I checked them before leaving, but as I had 4 hungry movers at my house I decided they were probably ok to eat. Turns out the base was almost black and although the movers were too polite to say so, definitely not a tasty pizza. Disappointed that the staff clearly were embarrassed to give me the food but weren’t willing to address the issue upfront. The two stars are for the water provided for my dog and the concept is cool inside.

Just like Harold’s, this is another home run. Their pizzas are great. Thin crust just like I like it. And if you are like me and have a child this place will not disappoint. Alli has put out kid tables and the kid menu is cool! Did I mention kids get free ice cream. Come visit, you won’t regret it!

Not a happy camper! The meatballs are decent but the chicken salad sandwich was so over kill. I wouldn’t feed this to my dog.

Sad cheese pizza! Think of an old, dry piece of cheese toast that will crack your teeth. Stop being chintzy with the sauce. Boo!

Tried this place for the first time. Got a 12″ pizza with pepperoni and mushrooms on half. First, I don’t remember seeing the word artisanal on the sign or the menu, so I was surprised when the pizza I ordered look a little like something Dali would paint. There was an edge to the crust on half of this oddly shaped pizza and the toppings were just running over the edge on the other half. Thin crust is s favorite of mine and i was a little disappointed biting in. The crust was chewy, the topping were good and fresh but scattered about haphazardly. The outer edge(where it existed) was hard enough to break your teeth. All in all, not a winner for me. Probably won’t try it again. Probably just caught them on s bad night?

Their pizza is amazing! They have really fresh tasting as stated in previous reviews. The bacon they make in house and we added to our pizza made my husband«tear up» he said it was so good! This is our Friday date night pizzeria for life!

Ordered pickup here after getting the ad in the mail. They have a gluten free option for crust, so I wanted to give it a try. Hubby’s regular pie looked awesome, but I can’t do the gluten. He had pepperoni and sausage and all sorts of toppings. He was über happy! I open my box excited, to find what looked like a personal pizza with few toppings. I got one with grilled chicken and tomatoes. It was generally tasty, but I’ll make my own at home next time.

I routinely head down to Alli’s pizzeria for lunch as it’s close to work and very convenient. The carnivore pizza is extremely tasty and I have tried several other varieties and they are good too. The service is decent, but it’s counter service, so don’t expect the waiter to take your order. The ambience is extremely casual, almost like a malt shop but the people are friendly and Alli, the owner, is incredibly nice.

The meatball sandwich was amazing! The meatballs were moist and full of flavor. Great idea to keep it open faced. The homemade chips were just the icing on the cake. Can’t wait to go back and try more of their menu!

I was really hoping the PBLT Pizza here would be as good as the time I had it when it was offered at Harold’s… The pork belly was juicy and plentiful, the sauce was light but had some major pow and the cheese was extra creamy and the balsamic added the perfect hint of zest. But unfortunately, it failed to deliver in flavor basically just tasted like dried out bread which it was even burnt on the edges. I might give this place one more try but I will have my expectations set a little lower. Sigh.

Fun date night! My husband and I had a wonderful date night at Alli’s Pizzeria and Harold’s inside Heights General Store last week. We walked from our house, got two amazing pizzas at Alli’s(Southern Pie &PBLT– delicious), then went upstairs to Harold’s terrace to have drinks & dessert. Service at both restaurants was impeccable and food/drinks were perfect and reasonably priced. We have decided to make it a weekly tradition, and urge others to do the same!

On a Saturday afternoon, not a soul was in here. I walk up to the counter, and they are not even sure if they are selling any food. Seriously? After tracking down the manager, yes it is confirmed, they can sell me a pizza. Though it took forever for anybody to figure out the POS system. This is a sad little pizza shop that completes the Heights General Store experience. Getting past the near incompetent, but oh so friendly service I finally get my order in straight. Then wait, and wait, and wait. Really, I am literally the only customer here and it takes close to a half hour to get an 8 inch pizza with paper thin crust. The crust by the way is bad. I do tend to like things a bit more salty than normal, but this is just overkill. This was like some one poured salt into the dough and the cap came off. The pork belly had some flavor, but overall to greasy and again salty. The upstairs restaurant certainly has its issues, and this pizza diner is a mess. Let alone the actual store has nothing of interest. I did not see how many people were upstairs this visit, but the awkward emptiness here says it all. I don’t know how these guys are going to make any money when they have an empty diner and store on a beautiful Saturday in the heights. I so wish this was MKT Bar and Phoenicia.

I can’t fathom how hard of is to create a pizza recipe, but I can easily tell when a pizza is sub par. I tried the Margarita pizza here and it’s the saltiest thing I’ve ever had. Thin crust, Decent cheese, terrible after taste. The coke was good…
