Amille’s Coffee

This is my favorite downtown coffee place by far. The staff is so friendly and they get to know their customers. They also have delicious blends and fresh vegetable juices.

If you want to go to a coffee shop where «everybody knows your name», this is the place! I can’t tell you how special they make me feel. AND the coffee is great! No Starbucks for me! Tell Daniel Lessa sent you! #nostarbucks

Love this coffees shop! It is locally owned and they are always so incredibly friendly and tend to rotate in really unique drinks.
Their service is fast and friendly and the prices are comparable. I would choose over Starbucks any day, delicious!

Love the muffins, love love the employees, definitely don’t love paying $ 3.09 for a 16 ounce hot tea. It’s just water and a tea bag. Please bring back the 20 ounce cup..

Cute and cozy coffee shop in the tunnels. Great coffee, fast lines, and friendly baristas. What else could you ask for? Definitely give this place a try if you’re in the area.

My new love is Rose Cardamom. Look forward to this drink even before I settle in at work. Please don’t mention it to my boss unless you tell How good this delightful drink is and should be dranked by you. Imagine my sad face when they told me Rose Cardamom is longer available. For the past almost 12 days I suffered without it.
Soon a small group of «gotta have a Rose Cardamom can club» stopped by asking for it. After almost 2 painful weeks, I stopped in this morning and was told they have it again. This was extremely exciting news however, they added, «It’s only available for a limited time.»
If you are still reading this, why? Go grab a hold of that addicting with just enough aroma that makes you escape whatever trouble you have or if you are good mood will place on a cloud.
Rose Cardamom is a soothing relaxing treasure and just tell your boss, you will be back soon.

Maria is great and the Americano was strong! Check in on Unilocal and get a drink upgrade.

Excellent coffee with fast, fantastic and friendly service from two of the best baristas in town, Daniel and Maria. They know their customers by name and their order without having to ask. The southwest quiche and parfaits are also great.

They are understaffed, overpriced and poorly managed. They are slow at serving and there isn’t even any line. Self cream/​sugar bar is always out of something or poorly stocked. They continually have some sort of mechanical failure. Today, CASH ONLY bc credit machine not operating (this is not the first time); but they don’t tell you until after you’ve ordered (should post a Cash Only sign at the entry). Pastries are too sweet. The positive is — no huge lines.

Nice inside. Comfortable. Could use more chairs and more chair/​table combos.
They make their mocha’s much sweeter than Starbucks, so be ready for that. I would guess the other drinks are sweeter as well.
Why have Christina Aguillera and Britney Spears been playing for the last 45 minutes? Kinda strange.

I love stopping by here for their happy hour. The staff are usually very friendly, and very often there’s not a huge line like other coffee places in the tunnels. Just pop into the tunnels, take an afternoon break, and enjoy a small cup of coffee for $ 2. You can’t beat that!

Their pastries aren’t very good. I can tell it is Not made fresh daily. My cheese pastry was stale, and I would’ve had her microwave it had I known it was a day old.
They were giving away some samples of the apple spice latte… WOW VERY BAD. It was such a disgusting mix of sweet and sour AND creamy ?!? horrible combo.
The only plus is they have WIFI !!

Why review this extremely mediocre chain, Starbucks owned coffee shop at all? Because it has two saving graces:
1. Cheap cookies on Friday afternoon as they sell off the leftovers before the weekend.
2. Cold brewed iced coffee — a much less bitter and more pleasant alternative to what everyone else does.
Also, the staff is usually very nice.

I make a point to visit this location regularly and have become quite a fan. I have never had a bad experience and it’s a quicker, less expensive alternative to Starbucks.
