Andre’ Deleon Salon

Came in for a wash, haircut, and style deal found on Groupon for $ 25.00. I made an appointment a week ahead of time.
Location is in a building with free parking and is on the 2^nd level. You can’t just walk in you must be buzzed in so it’s super safe?!
It’s a small quaint salon with 3 stylist including Andre offering several services from color, cuts, and makeup.
My appointment was right on time and Andre was very friendly with welcoming me and going over the consultation for my hair.
I have to double point out that he was VERY gentle while washing, combing, and styling my hair with a round brush.
My cut and style was very much to my liking! We did go over about 30 min since my hair is so thick and long and it took longer than expected since Andre was very detailed with his work.
I love that he was very talkative and we got some laughs along the way. It’s great when you can meet a hair dresser that you get along with and the experience is overall exceptional!
I’m glad I’ve finally found a hairdresser in Houston area since living here for three years with no luck. Thank you Groupon!

Do not trust Andre about coupon deals. A couple of years ago my mom bought several coupon deals to Andre’s salon because on the voucher it said you could give them as gifts and they never expire. I called him a few days ago to use the gift my mom have me and he made up a story about it being illegal in texas to have coupon deals which never expire so he no longer accepts the deal. This is not true and if Andre could lie to me so he could make more money off of me, I find him too sketchy to be trusted with my hair. Thanks but no thanks on Andre Deleon salon. I’ll just go to Roots salon right down the street instead since at least they won’t lie to me.

I recently moved to Houston, TX and I was in desperate need of a stylist. I’m very picky on who I allow to treat my hair. I took a confident risk going to Andre and it was well worth it. Instantly he makes his clients feel welcomed and at ease. You explain to him what your looking for and he accommodates to your wants and needs without pressure. You will leave his salon feeling upbeat and looking forward to the next appointment. Not to forget he also provides additional services (make– up, tanning) other than hair that I look forward to trying in the near future.
