Top notch, great selection of beautiful antiques from all over the world. My favorite part is all the cases filled with gorgeous jewels and treasures! There are probably 60 dealers in this shop, it is fairly large and takes a while to look at everything. Prices differ depending on the space, some reasonable and some very high, so you need to look around.

Whoa! What a place! Truly something for everyone. Fine French furniture to exquisite antique jewelry. I really enjoyed walking the aisles and viewing the offerings from the various dealers. Sales help unobtrusive, but always available. Many fine linens and textiles. I already have all the furniture I need, so I most enjoyed looking at the smaller items. Extremely high quality — and prices to match, so bring your checkbook!

Don’t go to this place… go to M.A.I. Instead. This place is second rate. It us full of out dated(not the current style) «antiques» and cheap junk. The staff are snooty and a bunch of panty wipes. Extremely rude !!! As if they think they are special and trust me they are not special!!! The place is a dump and one more thing… the workers are all a bunch of creeps.

Can I give this place five $s? The selection is spectacular. True antiques. Household and furniture items that are real treasures. But bring your credit cards. My favorite were two French Art Deco chairs for $ 11k.(Really? Lets get four!) Trying to match a missing piece of silverware? Bring it and they can probably help. Don’t come here for bargains. Come here to browse and gawk. Unlike other comments here, we found the service to be polite and approachable.

I really enjoy this place as it has some of the finest antiques I have found in this town. Of course many of them are out of my price range, but I can look, and even touch. This makes it better than a museum! The place is enormous, although you may not think that when you first pull up. Once you go inside, it’s like Dr. Who’s Tardis. There is so much to see and talk about that I bet you dollars to donuts that you can’t browse the whole store in one go. I mean really browse, not just jog through. I was impressed at the spectrum of items, from 19th century posters, fine Asian urns and tiny figures, old industrial lamps and repurposed stuff, fine silver, fine jewelry, and odd items you need explanations for. Loved the selection. The people here are warm and welcoming too. Despite the fine gallery feel, it’s an approachable place. The location is great as well. This is a wonderful place to look for that exact item you want or just to kill and afternoon.

I saw that many posters had issues with service in this place for some reason or another, I did not have any issues of the sort. To set the stage, I walked in there with a pair of flip flops with the sole slightly coming off one of the shoes, a t-shirt that says«old faithful blows 16 times a day», and a pair of hiking shorts. I had scruffy hair, a visor with a sweat line on it, and a full blown neck beard. I was also accompanied by my wife(who looked much prettier than myself) and my two daughters. The people at the desk didn’t bat an eye when I asked them for some help, and I was approached by another lady in the store for help when I was in the back looking at some old«castle doors». Was even nice enough to tell me that the«dealer»(They don’t like to call them pickers in there) was from Atlanta and that she had been meeting lots of people from that area lately. So I am not sure why service was an issue for anyone else, my guess is that they project feeling out of place or lack some confidence when walking into the store. Service was just fine. Anyway I let the lady in the back give me a guided tour in trying to find some nice mid-century pieces but no luck. Some very nice art deco pieces that are in impeccable condition, but overall I found mostly oversized Texas furniture. As for the store itself it does have a ton of great stuff. Tons of jewelry that is beautiful, furniture etc. but I found the furniture pricing to be on the higher end of the market I am pretty sure most of the people in the shop were interior decorators looking on behalf of their clients that don’t even want to do the shopping part of their remodel. I overhead two conversations where one thing was being set aside for one designer, and another with a guy in the shop that said he wanted a couple of things set aside for his client so he could bring her down there and make a decision on them for her space. If you have quite a bit of disposable income or a hefty budget for your furniture and/or jewelry then this place is perfect for a quick look. If you do operate on a bit of a budget then shopping in this joint isn’t for you.

The variety of items overall, by way of example — older silver jewelry and books on antiques — was definitely in greater supply during their first few years of operation — NOT so nowadays, however. Prices on merchandise in general are V-E-R-Y high-end, and getting assistance is somewhat of «a challenge,» although IF one seeks such, it’s appeared there’s always been at least ONE employee at their front counter who will oblige. I can see why some customers would perceive a level of «snootiness,» as I haven’t ever detected much in the way of «warm, fuzzies» emanating from staff-members upon entering the premises whenever I’ve shopped there, but to reiterate — IF a customer has a question, or desires to look at something in one of the booths, assistance seemingly is available. Totally agree with the comment re going to eBay to find/purchase most of what is for sale in this place — I think the word«overpriced» succinctly describes 99+% of all merchandise I’VE looked at here over the past several years on the occasions when I’ve stopped in to browse — but — THAT being said — let’s NOW give«the devil his due» — this place IS situated on the periphery of RIVEROAKS, folks !.

Snobby and overpriced! I reluctantly give this place 2 stars because after going there many times in the last few years, I have YET to be treated nicely. They are SUCH snobs there! I’m pretty sure they look at me, size me up, and think I don’t have any money so why bother. Once I asked to look at an item in a case. The man that helped me seemed so put out that he had to come show me something. I said I wanted to see the dog figurine and pointed to it, then I remarked that I thought it was German. He literally rolled his eyes, and corrected me saying no, it wasn’t, he was sure it was something else. Sure enough, it was marked«MADEINGERMANY». He then said oh well he didn’t have his glasses on. It was all just silly, and for what point? Just to prove he was smarter than me? The ONLY reason I give the place 2 stars is they do have some really nice things, and you can’t deny that.

I love wandering around Antique Pavilion. There’s a huge variety of items, thanks to all the different dealers. The crowd is a little bit older, but I’m always impressed by the quality of the boutiques. Re: the previous commenter, I personally enjoy not getting hounded by sales people looking to score a commission, and having the freedom to shop on my own.

I enjoy looking at fine art and oil painting. I was looking for a piece of modern artwork a friend told me about that I should get for my living room from this antique mall /co-op. I went to the left hand side of front entrance to a booth the owner has paintings and art deco furniture. I told him he had some beautiful artwork and asked him about the painting I was looking for. He acted like I was disturbing him from his sitting in his chair at the end of his booth. I asked him some questions on one of the artwork, his response was he would charge me to educate me about his antique painting. This place has some pretty things, but they are very over priced, where you can buy them 10 times cheaper down the street. Worse still, the people in there just gave me lots of bad vibes and attitudes.

Antique Pavilion is not an antique store, it is a collection of many, many individual dealers(they claim 100) all located in one convenient location. Here you can find antiques in just about any category you want, be it furniture, books, china, etc. and prices ranging from a few dollars to literally thousands per piece. We always enjoy visiting and get something almost every time we go. However, I must say that the last time we went, we did notice that the amount of items available has diminished. Blame the economy? Still I would recommend this place to anyone who loves antiques.
