Unfortunately… my TV was DOA, but the good thing is that Mike arrived on time and he was quick to diagnose and charged a fair price for the ride out.

We have a Samsung 64 inch Smart TV, Model PN64F5500 that is only 1& ½ years old. The tv wouldn’t turn on at all. Since the warranty expired a few months ago, Samsung wouldn’t offer any assistance with labor or parts coverage. The Samsung technician couldn’t even look at the tv for a full week. So we called Arbat TV who came out the same day! Mike was knowledgeable and very professional. He diagnosed the power supply board as the culprit. The part was impossible to get(which confirms to me Samsung has real issues). Mike called to let us know that he ordered the part from China. A week later the part arrived and Mike installed it, and set all the gadgets back up within 30 minutes. TV works great and we are extremely appreciative of Mike’s work. We won’t purchase another Samsung TV, but we will always call Arbat TV Repair in the future!

Used their online service request and received a call back in a timely manner. Scheduled a home visit and Mike showed up on time. While the television wasn’t repairable, the cost of the diagnostic was very reasonable. I would recommend using this service in the future.

One night during a heavy storm my power went down. As my electricity came back, I heard a loud«pop» from my television and smelled something burning. I immediately unplugged the TV, took it down from the wall, and looked up some troubleshooting online. When I realized I was in over my head, I searched for nearby TV repair technicians and began vetting them based on past customer reviews. Arbat won, so I gave them a call and hoped for the best. My call was answered immediately, and I described my situation. Mike came to my house two hours later(as promised), quickly diagnosed the problem, informed me of the replacement part I needed, and instructed me on how to install the part(VERY simply process; you literally plug in two flat cords). The fact that Mike’s first suggestion was that I replace the part myself showed me that he cared about saving me money(why else would you call a TV repair technician, right?). He said that he could order the part for me, but also said that I could easily find better prices online and have it delivered within the same amount of time(which I did). I’d highly recommend Arbat to anyone who needs a quick diagnosis at a fair price.

I highly recommend them. My Samsung 58″ plasma TV would not turn on anymore and was pretty upset. Next morning I called ARBATTV(Mike). He ask me a few questions and told me few things that might be wrong. He gave me a few quotes and was in my apartment on the afternoon. He was very friendly and communicative which I appreciate a lot. Moreover, his service was efficient and fixed the problem immediately. So far, had no problems with my TV and it was definitely cheaper than buying a whole new one. Hopefully, I would not have a problem like this again, but if that is the case I would not hesitate to call him again since reliability and trust are very important for me.

Okay, so I don’t usually write reviews, in fact this is my first review EVER on Unilocal… but I just had to this time because everyone needs to know about Arbat TV and the exceptional service Mike provided when I needed it the most! My terrible Samsung LED television stopped working completely one fine day. I tried turning it on, no power, nothing. I called up a handful of tv service repairs guys and they just threw out a ridiculous price quote ion how much it would cost to come out and diagnose the issue. When I called up Mike, he didn’t just toss a price quote at me… he walked me through some troubleshooting scenarios. It was only after ALL those were exhausted when he said it would be better to check the issue out himself. He was at my apartment in less than 30 mins. Amazing. Also, the cost to come and diagnose the issue was far FAR more reasonable than the other guys. More amazing. He diagnosed the issue I was having efficiently, carefully and was exceptionally FRIENDLY. He explained exactly what the issue was. shortage of the power supply board which needed replacing. Once replaced, my tv was back up and running and perfect. I had forgot at one point to replace the screws that held down the part on the tv(which I wasn’t aware of until later) and I frantically called up Mike on a SUNDAY evening. He graciously and gladly walked me through what I need to do, even to the point of me texting him pictures of the TV part. That’s when I realized I had forgotten to tighten the screws which helped secure the part. Bingo. Problem solved. TV works like a dream. I thank the TV Gods for sending Mike to help me out. His impeccable customer service, kind, friendly, honest nature was wonderful… even when I was freaking out. He took it all in strides and all with a smile. He went out of his way to help his customer, even on a family, Sunday evening. I would recommend him for ANY of your TV repairs… Now only if he knew how to fix car raditors :)
