Beamer’s Place

Forget that other rating. This is a good place. While they may not have a large selection, this place knows what it is. The bar tender was attentive, and the shots were not shy. There is pool, shuffleboard, electronic darts, slot games, and a jukebox.

The only reason this place gets one star is because I could not give it less. On a five star rating scale it is a negative two, if I’m being generous. Beamer’s Place is a disgusting bar. Nothing has been done to improve this bar in at least sixteen years. I thought that the smoke damage they suffered when a business next store caught on fire would have given them the opportunity to at least attempt to make improvements. I was wrong. Obviously the owner has no pride in his business and is content to let it fall in around him.
The bar smells so horrid that after being there for less than an hour I had to immediately shower to scrub the Beamer’s stench off of me.
It would be nice to have a neighborhood bar that I would want to frequent. Beamer’s Place is not that bar.
