Ordered here Sunday night, January 10, 2016 at 7:58pm inside of store. Been here many times and had less than met expectations but i keep hoping it will get better. Tonight was pretty bad so i took the time to review. First we asked for the specialty salad ive alwats gotten and came for here tonight but they said they dont have anymore. Then we asked how much the garden salad was since it said«$ 99.99» on the menu. She said that is the wrong price. Then we asked fir chicken strip sandwich that is on the menu. She said«we dont have that». We ended up ordering about 22 $ worth of food, some of which being: a salad, buffalo chicken fries, chicken nuggets, and fountain drinks. When the food came i went to grab it at the counter. I asked for bbq or similar sauce. They said all they have is ranch and buffalo sauce. I said i wish i had known that when i ordered. She said all they garantee is nuggets-not sauce. Since i got two large orders i asked for 2 small sauces per order. She said«you are confusing us with the other fast food restaurants». We only give 1 sauce per order where its the 4 piece or the 20 piece. Then i said, your computerized soda machine normally has hundreds of variations of flavours… but now only 2 options is lemonade and powerade-you should have told us that when we ordered our drinks. I then asked for a fork for my salad(nicely). She got pissed at that too. She yelled that she put it on my tray. I said ok ill go check. She followed me to my table and we both saw it. She said«there it is you moved it!» i said«ok, sorry, and thanks.» When I sat down & put the chicken fry in my mouth i noticed it was not the buffalo flavour that we made sure we got(that she corrected over the microphone) but i was afraid to say anything. After that, I didnt want to be there so i asked my friend if he could get us to-go containers out of fear if i asked for the containers myself thar the two hostile women might kill me,…haha. Its no wonder this place is dead everytime i come here… we passed by mcdonalds closeby and it was busy. If you want no line-come here… but you might get less of a quality experience, depending on who is working. This is a fair warning to you. :-)

I hate fast food, but I get to work really early and it’s right across the street from my office. So if I need a breakfast fix, I stop in here. They recently remodeled, so the interior is nice and clean. They added one of the touch screen soda machine that has like every flavor, so that’s a plus. But other than that, I don’t recommend eating here unless you have to. They always seem short-staffed and are not very friendly.

WORSTSERVICEEVER!!! I can not believe this location has ANY stars at all. We went to the drive thru where we waited 25 minutes because the staff couldn’t seem to get our order even close to correct. Then once they ran our card we just sat there while the people seemed to disappear. We tried to get their attention so we could get our money back and cancel the order, they ignored us. Asked for a manager and he was so incredibly rude and said, the order before you was like $ 80 so you have to wait. I totally would have understood had they said something, ANYTHING besides just leaving us sitting in the drive thru waiting for them. I will never go back to this location! I can not believe how incompetent the staff was. I called back because our order was completely wrong and the MANAGER hung up on me. TWICE. This is completely unacceptable and the management and owner should be straight up ashamed of how horrible the service was.

Tree killer. This guy and his brother who owns the wendy’s on Kirby are notorious for cutting down/killing trees in the area.

You would think they’d staff up and provide quality service given this prime time location at the corner of two major streets in the medical center. Patrons are about ¼ med center peeps, ¼ patients either coming/going from appoints and/or escaping cafeteria food in search of something familiar and about 2⁄4 construction workers working on projects in the med center. The restaurant is usually pretty busy during lunch, yet there’s typically one worker working one register, one person devoted to the drive thru window and one person fulfilling the orders from the kitchen. Mind you, none of these employees are very friendly. It’s a highly inefficient model that defeats the point of fast food. Next time, I’m in the mood for a relatively fast burger, I’ll opt to get in the truck and make the short trip down Holcombe to Whataburger or Main to Smashburger. On a side note, why do I always convince myself BK’s value menu is worthwhile? There’s one delicious thing at Burger King and it’s the Whopper(or the double Whopper). Don’t fall victim to pinching pennies… go with the tried and true.

New levels of suck. I came in at 7:30ish on a Thursday. Two employees on break in dining area, one cooking(maybe?) and one doing everything else. Stood at counter for 5 min, then another 5 – 10 for the crappy food. Clearly they don’t care and don’t understand the concept of fast food or customer service. Oh, and the one employee helping me had a dirty uniform and broken headphone held together with tape. Bleah.

Ugh, like one of the worst locations ever. Inside is clean and all, and it looks new, but damn it if this place wasn’t a huge and total disappointment. Service was practically non-existent. It took 10+ minutes just to place an order with 3 people in line because the person that takes the orders had to do kitchen duty too. And then after that, getting the food was very slow as well. I only came here because I needed FAST food, but this ended up being a huge time sink. There is a much better location to the west if you crave BK and are willing to drive a couple more minutes. As for the food, it was bad, even for BK standards. Burger wasn’t hot and the onion rings weren’t crispy. AVOID.

Run of the mill burger king, but can be ridiculously slow in the evenings, even when not busy. Once in the drive through, you can’t escape once you are in line.

Like a long-legged bird standing in a stream where the fish must go by, the picking is easy for this location. It’s near the Medical Center at the intersection of two major streets. Even on Google Maps there is a green arrow(park area shape) pointing to this location. Yes, there is some competition, including some places with burgers better than the King’s. I guess that makes them more powerful than a king… perhaps a lobbyist. Anyway, consistency of food with other locations is achieved. I am not sure if that is good or bad news. It is better and cheaper than the burger at the hospital in their cafeteria area.
