India is known for its spices; but the ready made spice mixes available in the grocery stores don’t represent that. This place is the real deal.
This is a family run joint with over 40 years of experience grinding fresh spices. They have all the variety you’ll need. Not just your basic spices but also several mixes like tea or garam masala, and also some rare concoctions like kadhi masala or Bombay sandwich and Frankie masala.
Contrary to popular beliefs that Indian vegetarian recipes are not rich in protein; They also have fresh ground flours for Dhokla, Handva and idly, dosas — all of which by the way are rich in protein and fermented flours (hence healthy).
They also take online orders and deliver which is pretty neat. They guaranteed that their masalas are clean and you won’t find dirt and crumbs like packaged ones like Swad. Five star place for me. Great job that the owners are proudly upholding Indian heritage of age old recipes and passing down pure and delicious spices for newer generations to relish.

If you’re looking for a small Indian grocery store that specializes in tons and tons and tons of different types of flours, beans, and spices– this is it!
Located in the same shopping center as the London Sizzler off 59, they stock this shop with many of the products from their mill in Stafford where they grind all their own flours, from chickpea to all purpose to gluten-​free mixes and the obscure. I spoke with the owner and not only is she passionate about quality and customer satisfaction but she loves to give cooking advice as well!
The prices are very reasonable and I just can’t believe the selection– I will definitely be heading back next time I need a specialty flour or want to stock up on bulk lentils.
