Heard great things about him. He’s a sweetheart in person and takes his time with you and answers all your questions. You can tell he has a passion for what he does. The staff on the other hand is very hard to get a hold of especially Sissy and this makes you feel a disconnection with him. She’s never in the office, doesn’t return calls and hardly responds to emails. For this reason I pulled back from going to him the first time but people that have seen him convinced me to go back. So I decided to go back and make my pre-​op appointment, again still haven’t heard from his staff for payment and answer my questions. I’m trying not to let this stop me from getting my procedure because When you meet him he’s very attentive and a great doctor in the end. Don’t let his staff get in the way of seeing him. Definitely needs to clean house because his staff are who you deal with the most and represent him.

Dr Altamira is a great surgeon, everyone i know including my family go to him. He is not the kind of doctor that rushes you through, he is kind and caring and patient. Dr. Altamira does all his surgery at a actual hospital– so half of the fee you pay him goes to the hospital and anesthesiologist. If you have any other health problems just know that in a hospital is the safest place to have a procedure. If you are trying to get a consultation and have any problems with his staff just send him a short note on Facebook and he will take care of the problem right away… Don’t let his staff keep you away from a excellent surgeon.
