Went here monday night about 45 minutes before close and the cashier was sooo ghetto and UNPROFESSIONAL. The chicken tasted like it had been sitting there for hours. I no longer live in Houston but when i did, the Frenchy’s on 45 north was best food always fresh and service was pretty good. The one on Antoine was horrible! The cashier’s friend was n the lobby talking to her as she serviced customers and he was so loud. The whole experience was a mess. I wont be going back to that location and the managers need to check their ppl on professionalism and Customer Service. Ive had better service at McDonalds n that says a lot

The customer service was rude, they have over cooked chicken and the cooking oil needed to be changed, called the Manager to tell her and she was rude and unapologetic to me as a customer, I will never go back there.

Came in on a Thursday night at 7 PM. Not impressed at all! Rice was Luke warm. A dude behind the counter was coughing his head off and the chicken was close to being burnt! Never again. save the miles and just go to Popeye ’ s. .at least their food is cajun ish! and never cold or burnt… Nasty!

No bullshit review: I’ve been to this location twice at the insistence of a friend. The first time I went at 7pm, everything was cold, gritty, and you know that feeling when you walk into a place and you feel dirty? Yeah, that’s how this location feels. The second trip was, again, at a friends insistence that the first trip was a fluke. There were the exact same problems, cold chicken, out of collard greens, out of desserts, and dirty. It was 8 in the evening, there’s really no excuse that this location is having do many problems.

The food was good as always but very slow… It took 30 mins for food which is ridiculous. The employees were nice but also took 10 mins to order because it was so hectic in the kitchen area because only 5 orders… The guy even said the rolls weren’t even fresh …

I love dirty rice and chicken. …good for them to expand to different parts of houston… lord knows I dont like driving to the moon for rice and chicken but I WILL. .
PRICES ARE A LITTLE OVER BUT HEY YOU ONLY LIVE ONCE. WHY NOT?

This restaurant is actually located at 12 039 Antoine, definitely not in Spring Branch. Unilocal must have entered the address wrong in their system. The chicken is still great at this newer location that opened around Summer 2013. Not exactly a convenient location for me, but if I’m ever in the area again, this is where I’m going for fried chicken.
