It was so dry! I couldn’t even stomach it. I am eight months pregnant and was craving delicious juicy chicken shwarma with the garlic spread. The hummus was just eh, and the pita bread was dry and tasted old. This doesn’t even compare to the other Mediterranean options near by. I was so grossed out by this food. I don’t recommend purchasing this or visiting this restaurant. I frequent the Vintage area multiple times a week. This is just unacceptable!

I wasn’t pleased with this food at all. Had a kids meal. My chicken was dried and the zucchini was not yummy. The pictures make you wanna eat here but I was disappointed.

I had a chicken plate with zucchini. It was amazing with the best flavors. Inexpensive for the quality and amount of food you get. I will keep coming back and can’t wait to try other items on the menu. The only thing I would change is the ambiance. It’s a cafeteria style place and super casual. I wish they would warm it up and make it more of a cozy place to have lunch and dinner.

Wow! So fresh and delicious and the service was great. Plenty of options for vegetarians and meat eaters and portions were excellent. We also liked the Eco and biodegradable utensils and cups. We will definitely be back!

Falafel wasn’t very good. Had marinated chicken that I wouldn’t get again. Very average food and its always empty. Nice workers though.

Very good food and a nice staff. Drinks are pricy however but you have to make a profit somewhere.

Everything was great. Good price, fast service. Willing to make substitutions. We both had gyro wrap, one of us with grilled zucchini side, and the other with grilled bell pepper sides. They were grilled and seasoned to perfection — tasty and juicy with beautiful grill marks. The gyros were great, nice generous portions of meat and veggies — either traditional veggies or your choice of several substitutions. The baklava was just as tasty. Clean restaurant, clean bathrooms. Nice and light/airy feel to the dining area. All in all, solid 4 stars for all of the food, the establishment and dining experience. They lost one star for only one reason, but it’s important for a Mediterranean place: Over the years, I’ve had gyro meat ranging from inedible(1 star, if that) to melt-in-your-mouth-can’t-stop-eating(5 stars). This was probably a 3.5−4 star meat. Thanks!

We tried Fresko for lunch on a recent Friday. Two of us both ordered gyros and we shared an order of falafel. The plus is the place is very clean and orderly and the staff was warm and welcoming. The minus is the gyro meat was dry and had very little flavor. The tzatziki sauce wasn’t as good as the brand I buy at Costco. The hummus and falafel were a bit better, definitely average. Disappointing all around as we love Mediterranean style food.

Love this place. All food is from fresh ingredients and the owners have chosen to take an environmentally responsible approach. Staff are very friendly and helpful especially for first time customers. Owner was very nice and explained a lot about their business and upcoming plans.

The guy inside was very nice. He let me try the falafel while I was waiting i got one I’m assuming cold piece that had to have been sitting out and then I got a hot piece. I ordered the beef kabob 3sides. I ordered cucumber salad baby gonouesh and potatoes. All in all I am a huge fan of this kind of food & honestly am very sad on the taste. The beef nabob is so so really no flavor. The baby gonouesh is horrible I won’t even touch it & that’s usually the first thing gone on my plate. Sadly I will not be returning. Other than the nice guy helping me the food is sadly poor. I have seen this place on Unilocal & finally gave it a try. Unfortunately not what I was hoping for.

One day I asked my sister to eat lunch and she picked this location. I had never heard of Fresko so I’m ready to give it a try. It’s located in Vintage Park where Cheeburger-Cheeburger used to be. They have transformed this place and turned it into a nice setting for lunch. I looked up some items and the shawarmas are what caught my eye. I said I’ll go see how big they are in person and rate it myself. I ended up getting the beef wrap which was packed pretty well, but not big enough as I expected. I have to say it was lacking some kind of sauce. My sister went to get their spicy sauce which tastes similar to the Asian chilly paste. I enjoyed it much more with the hot sauce. I also got a side order of falafels. It tasted like any other falafel I have tried. Nothing really stood out for me, but I enjoyed my meal here. Maybe I’ll come back to try their skewers and salmon. They looked pretty delicious!

Whaaat, the falafel here tastes like cardboard! Never had such bland and dry falafel before. And a small side of this costs $ 3 for 3 pieces?! The chicken shawarma wrap($ 7.99) was much better, with tasty grilled chicken that wasn’t dry at all, a good spread of decent tasting garlic sauce, and plenty of veggies(onions, romaine lettuce, tomatoes, pickles), but suffered from very tough, thick and barely edible pita. Their large pita is actually sourced from Phoenicia so it should be good, but they really need to heat it up or something. Definitely NOT like the pita that comes fresh off the conveyor belts at Phoenicia(or like I’ve had at Arpi’s). I know the owner reads these Unilocal thingies so please hear me out. Heat the pita in an oven or fry pan and you’ll have a winner on your hands! The comparisons to Zamani and like a dozen other places are inevitable since there are so many Mediterranean restaurants nearby. Overall, no the food doesn’t seem as good or cheap as most of these other places like Zamani, Kababi Zaytoon, Olivit, Alwadi, even Verts. But it’s not bad either(EXCEPT whatever it is they’re call falafel), and the food comes out super fast. Everything is made in front of you unless it’s a kebab plate. Not sure how they’ll do located in a bad spot at the back of Vintage Park, especially with such tough competition nearby. We’ll see.

I was on my way to another Mediterranean place down the street but decided to give this place a try. The place was clean and inviting, the food was great. Lots of veggie options. Kabobs take awhile to cook because it’s made to order, the gyro meat was on the dry side but flavorful. Then lady was super nice.

A group of us ate lunch here recently. I passed on a meat choice because it looked like it had been cooked the day before. The grilled zucchini was delicious as was the cucumber salad. The price was fair but I will never be back. We were the only customers in the order line and were unfamiliar with the menu, therefore, we had questions. The employees, all of them, were disrespectful and impatient with us. It was as if we were bothering them. Several even rolled their eyes… very rude. One brought a tray of food to a another table of customers, slamming it down so hard the food actually bounced up. Perhaps the employees were all having a bad day. A very bad day.

Nice décor bright and contemporary. Salmon over cooked, and very fishy, fries aren’t made to order. They sit in a warmer when it only takes 3 minutes to cook. Babaganoush was awful flavorless basically chunky humus. Shawarmas were simply ok nothing to brag about. Service mediocre I don’t recall being greeted upon my arrival. Prices are too high for their food quality. I highly doubt if I’d return. **Thankfully a facility that actually cares about its customers and read the reviews here. Upon adding my comments about my service the staff noticed it here and took the liberty to rectify it. We discussed my concerns, they were extremely apologetic and even offered a free meal coupon. That alone affords them my patronage again free meal or not. I’m a stickler about quality customer service and when trying to right a wrong well that’s admirable to me. Thank you Freskos!**

The place is great! Nice and clean! I’ve only been here once with my co-workers & wasn’t sure what to expect, but I was satisfied with what I ordered. We waited a bit for the food but that was only the downside. Other than that, it was good. I highly recommend the sautéd mushrooms!
