The chicken alfredo was bad it stinks because I thought I had finally found an Italian place close to my school but no I was wrong the bread was hard and the salad just lettuce the chicken was made up mostly of fat and no chicken. The waitress was super nice, but I would not recommend this place I wish I had a better review but it is what it is

Home made sauce, pizza, and great tasting. I had the spicy marinara with chicken and spaghetti and wow was it great. Also a small pizza which had everything right. Only negative, I had to ask for a refill. Dont. Ever. Make. Me. Ask. For. A. Refill.

Pizza is delicious! Pricing structure is a bit strange and doesn’t quite make sense, but the large 3 topping is an obvious value. I eat here probably once a month.

The name«Georges» means one very important thing to a dear friend of mine. It means are you hungry for the best pizza ever and who is driving?! Ok so technically that’s 2 things but whatever. The pizza and cheese is to die for here. They use only the freshest ingredients and make anything from a gyro to a cheese pizza. My favorite go to is a small pepperoni pizza with red pepper flakes and extra Parmesan sprinkled on top. I didn’t try it but was told the gyro was pretty amazing. The owners are so genuine and sweet as are the employees. When my work was closer I would go once a week. It’s just that good. :)

I love George’s! Sweetest little Italian place! It’s an older pizzeria that people forget about. The food is great and the people who work there are very nice. Been going there for over 10 years. Give it a try! You won’t be disappointed!

Tried this spot for the first time yesterday after a search for something different in the area. The Greek salad was very fresh, tasty and definitely enough for two. Really like the manicotti(wished there was more when I finished it:) Great, hot pizza and great customer service. Cannot ask for much more.

We stopped here because we were looking for Italian and did not want to stop at Spanky’s. I never knew this place was here, and just happened upon it. Although the outside is not very inviting because of the age of the strip center, the interior was clean and nice. Yes, as someone mentioned in a previous review, the chairs are clearly hotel surplus, but who cares? I loved all of the pictures and posters on the walls, and the place was bright(lots of windows) and cheery. When I entered, I was greeted by a former student of mine. Although that can be a bad thing, depending on the student’s grade, in this case it was not. I had the lunch special, eggplant parmigiana. It came with a nice sized house salad. I had the balsamic dressing, which they make here. It also came with a spaghetti and garlic bread. I also tried the spaghetti with meat sauce that my friend had. The food was good and fresh, and the serving sizes were generous. They actually have an herb garden in the back, and they are growing tomatoes and other vegetables. When I walked through the kitchen to get to the garden, the kitchen appeared clean and well maintained. This was at the end of the lunch rush, so a good sign. I had to give the extra star because of the guy who was annoyed at the canned coke. Be glad they do not have a coke dispenser. Do you know what kind of slime can build up if the dispenser is not properly maintained? There is nothing wrong with canned or bottled drinks. Ask about the herb garden in the back. I challenge you to find a place on the south side of town that uses herbs that fresh!

Great food, yeah outside a little dumpy. But inside is bright and clean. Most everything is scratch. Pizza was great. Sweet sauce, salty mozzarella cheese, and spicy pepperoni. Giving Spankys a run for its money. Old school cooking, family owned. Meatballs are delicious. Marinara is just right. Homemade ranch dressing. Pizza is best described as much thinner Chicago style. Its not deep dish crust but has that same buttery, flaky dough. Outstanding pizza

I just can’t give this place anymore than two stars. We went there for lunch with some customers… on someone else’s recomendation. What I really don’t like is a place that gives you a can of coke… and keeps charging you for refills… how petty. I got a sandwich… so unremarkable I don’t remember what it was. Service was OK. The bathroom was tantamount to torture. Again, I wish it was better, but it just wasn’t good. It did have that smell, though. The smell that reminded me of the pizza shop I used to work at when I was much younger. I suppose that’s why I hoped it was better, as that smell gives me good memories.

Not good at all. I had spaghetti and meatballs. It had no flavor and red sauce tasted like water.

Worst experience ever! Rudest hostess/server I have ever encountered. The chairs and tables were filthy. We left before we even finished ordering so I can’t comment on the food itself.

Just had lunch here today, and what a find just off of Telephone Rd it is! I opted for the Cannelloni Florentine, and it came with a side of Spaghetti with the house meat sauce. The cannelloni filling was beef and spinach, and was very tasty! They have multiple lunch specials for $ 6.95 that include bread and salad, and the Pizzas I saw being delivered to other tables looked/smelled awesome! I will be back to sample the Pizzas soon!!! Working in this area it is hard to find something outside of a Mexican food joint or Taco stand, but George’s has been there for 30 yrs, and keeps on doing it right!

I was in the mood for Italian tonight, but wanted to try something other than the Olive Garden. I really wish we had just gone there… The tables have really cheap and old looking plastic table cloths over them. Actually, our table had two on it for some reason. The chairs were really old as well and some even haven had rips and slashes in the fabric. There seemed to only be one waitress working when we got there, and she was also busy taking phone orders as well. She came over to our table and asked us what we wanted for drinks. I ordered a root beer, and my boyfriend ordered a water. She eventually came back with my root beer(bottle) and a pepsi. My boyfriend is not one to speak up so he went with the flow and started drinking his pepsi, but still, how does that even happen? We ordered our dinners– I chose eggplant parm and my boyfriend chose lasagna. How bad could it possibly be? The waitress asked us what type of dressing we wanted(italian, ranch, or thousand island) and i asked her if she had any type of vinaigrette’s, and she suggested Italian. I said that Italian was fine, and later she brought out a basket of extremely bright orange colored garlic bread(or so I thought) and our salads that came with the meals. The salad was a joke, it was a plate of lettuce and 2 slices of tomato. Also, the Italian dressing was in fact balsamic vinaigrette, much to my surprise. Not that it matters because I didn’t eat anything other than the tomatoes. The bread was bland, there was no garlic on it at all. I still am not sure why it was bright orange, possibly paprika or something? I don’t really know but it was just warm bread, no flavor. Eventually our meals arrived and we began eating. The waitress also didn’t remember which dish belonged to which person, which I thought was strange. The eggplant was thick and mushy, not really breaded much at all. The spaghetti sauce was terrible, I don’t even know how to properly explain how bad it was but I know that canned sauce I can buy from the store tastes A LOT better. I tried to eat as much as I could take, and tried dipping the tasteless neon-colored bread into the sauce to fill myself up, but I don’t think I even ate half. My boyfriend’s meal was just as bad. He said it tasted like Chef Boyardee from a can. I tried his food, and his assessment was right. It was flavorless mush. When we had decided that we had enough I went and paid the waitress at the front so we could get out of there ASAP. We both immediately started feeling slightly nauseous on the drive back, and were in agreement and disbelief about how bad the food was. Perhaps the pizza or gyros are better, but I’m not going to risk wasting money here again. My boyfriend is now willingly eating a hot pocket as a replacement dinner.

The food here is omgggg delicious and they use good quality ingredients– so I always feel like I’m eating REAL food when I eat from George’s! What has them get 3 stars instead of 5 is that they have gross old chairs and the women’s restroom is plain and awkward. I usually get lunch to go from here at least once a week.
